He worked with us while also helping us deal with other contractors that were working in and around our property - always taking the lead and communicating effectively. AFrey Construction & Home Improvement, LLCIt is hard to give a review of someone that when they are complete feel like part of the family! As someone who used to work in the construction industry they are unbelievable professional and are there to help! They went above and beyond to make sure not only our roof replacement went well but made sure the little details were taken care of without coming back for most likely justified extra cost because they were already there. They are fair and explain everything very well. One observation that I had while they were here was the Owner Scott came by the jobsite. He knew all of the laborers by name and was bilingual to be able to communicate with his team. I think we should all support local businesses with leaders that treat their employees with respect and kindness. And it is obvious this leadership gets translated into their work. They are an amazing company and if I have a home improvement or need an emergency repair there isn't anyone else I will allow in my house after using Frey.- Josh L.

AJordan Archer by DesignThis man is as honest as it comes. His quotes won't be the lowest you get, but that's because he quotes what he honestly thinks the project costs. He doesn't believe in surprising you half way through the project with added expenses like many others do. You know all up-front what you are getting yourself into so you can plan accordingly. He provides a complete breakdown on your costs during and at the end of the project, including a full receipt record with the actual receipts! He also does multiple-times-a-week check-in's to be sure you are well aware of the progress on your project. His quality of work is second to none; slightly over-engineered in all the best ways to ensure the strength, durability, and reliability you want tied to any work done on your home. You can be comfortable with his work NOT being added later to your "it was great but now its broken and we to have to get it done again" list for many decades to come. AThompson Custom BuildersThings went fantastically well, I enjoyed working with John Thompson and I'd be happy to hire him again. His subcontractors were all wonderful and a few of them were truly exceptional. His finish carpenter Troy, his painting crew led by Jesus, and his flooring guy Luke we're all really incredible outstanding workmen to deal with. Our project was highly custom, intricate and involved two separate neighboring properties. I highly recommend that if you are considering hiring John and his crew that you don't hesitate and do it right away. I look forward to working with him again in the future.- Jonathan W.

AKool View CoSunroom is an addition to the house, off the dining room, about 4 x 4 sqm Did a wonderful job, people were reliable, very friendly, kept us informed what they were doing and when. Alan, the owner , came frequently to check the work. We only hired our own electrician. Sunroom looks great. Took only a little longer than we thought, but was due to weather related back orders- Barbel S.

AKool View CoWe are so happy with the results. The screened in porch is our constant retreat now,. The workmen were wonderful and so very tidy. Our only complaint was that they didn't start as early ( mid June) as we had hoped due to weather delays. We would definitely recommend this reputable company!- Sharon J.

AKool View CoKool View looked like they were doing a good job and everything. They were going to do the construction using a different technique and we just kind of like what we are doing with a different vendor better. We had them put in a sun room many years ago and they did an excellent job at that point and that's one of the reason why we actually had them bid on another project. They did it promptly, only there was a little hold-up with the cement contractor.Their bid looks good and everything, we just decided not to go with them. It wasn't that we had a bad experience with them or anything; we have to decide who we're going to go with. They were going to charge a little more but not that much more. The bid was competitive. The guy that came out and talked with us was impressive. It was well presented. Some contractors, they say yeah and when they come back and present it, it wasn't exactly what we wanted. They were very responsive to anything that we suggested. We called people that they had done projects with and they were happy with the results. They come whan theyt say they're going to come. BThe final product is good and the price was good. The structure all seems to be high quality and with double pane windows it can hold the climate or out well as needed. With screens all around we can let the air move through when we want. The design process was a good experience, but we were not warned that our decisions in dimensions would result in difficulties with regulations and the electrical work. The lack of communication between sub-contractors during the process resulted in several delays. There were times when we were told there would be hand-off and it didn't happen until we prodded them. We kicked it off in the early spring and it didn't complete until August. Early on, the delays were unavoidable due to weather and ground conditions but after the foundation was in it took to long to complete the structure. The problem is not specifically the total time to complete but being left with very little time to replace the yard and driveway before winter.

AThompson Custom Builders is AMAZING! John Thompson personally walked with us through the entire process, was patient, honest and accurate with his estimates. His communication was clear and he truly has a heart for this. All people associated with Thompson Custom Builders did a professional job and produced customized high-end results. It was great to not have to fight to get what we wanted. They knew what we wanted and they created it. No surprises or omissions. We experienced a devastating flood in our basement in 2018. When we talked with Thompson Custom Builders, the basement was concrete floor, wood studs, and the entire electrical had to be replaced. They took it from a blank canvas and created a wonderful basement with custom Amish built cabinetry and kitchenette, exercise area, full bathroom, and wonderful family room with TV viewing area. We love it! As a business owner myself, I appreciate their honest, truthful, approach to cost, setting expectations, work ethic and quality. AThis was about the 4th or 5th project we've had Adam and Pat complete. Per usual, workmanship and problem solving was excellent. We had attic finished in our historic, older home so not the easiest job. Labor rates are very reasonable and Adam is extremely trustworthy, practical in solutions, and customer service is above and beyond.

AThey did a wonderful job. It felt like neighbors came in after a barn burnt. They treated us like friends They were honest, explained what they were going to do and really kept us in the loop. They explained what they could and could not restore. Once they thought they got something on the bathroom floor and they called me to ask if it were there before. Because we were not sure if it had been there before, they went ahead and replaced the floor. They packed everything and hauled it out of the house before they began work and everyone was nice and honest. Extremely professional company whom we would highly recommend to anybody.

AI hired Patrick for a kitchen remodel. I needed the existing cabinets, sink, countertop, and tile removed. The space prepared for a new sink cabinet and a new wall cabinet to replace the existing cabinets. I first met Patrick and knew that I would like working with him. His estimate came in, and that sealed it. Patrick did an amazing job!!! He installed the new cabinets, countertop, some tile work, lighting, some new outlets and a new sink and garbage disposal. He did an amazing job on all of it!!! A great job on the electrical, plumbing, tile, framing in the wall for the new cabinet and replacing the existing sink cabinet, drywall, and preparing the new walls for final paint for me. Patrick had really great suggestions on materials and things that just made sense as we went along. He also was really open to my suggestions and changes as the project progressed. Not only is he a great contractor and amazing at what he does, he's a really kind person. It was a pleasure to have Patrick in my home for the project, and we had many great conversations and he is just a really good person. The project came in on time and UNDER budget! Well, a little over the original budget, but that was my fault because I added things like a garbage disposal, extra outlets, tile work, etc... But definitely under budget for all the work he did. I would hire Patrick again, for sure. I wish I could upload photos of my before and after. Great work Patrick!! Oh, and during COVID times, Patrick always had a mask on while working and I appreciate that.
