Alberto and his staff were excellent! They kept us informed of any delays, and were flexible with their schedules to keep the project moving and on budget. They were open to our ideas and had our satisfaction as their goal.

Kevin came promptly at the appointed time. He was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful in carpet selection. He recommended a few carpets for the area that we wanted and was very helpful in feedback in what would look good in that room. The installers came promptly to install it and a tile was accidently broken by the fireplace during installation. They quickly fixed it and the manager called me along with coming to look at the repair. What impressed me was the courtesy which was extended to me by the team and Hubie during this entire process, great old fashioned service. I'd highly recommend them and won't hesitate to call when we need more flooring.

Tim has provided me with extreme excellent service this winter! As a single mom with a little one at home it makes it almost impossible to get the task done. He is kind, honest, punctual, thoughtful in calling me before a storm to get an idea on what my needs are/were... he is fast but does amazing work. He cares about his quality of work and his reputation. Very very nice and professional man. Highly recommend to anyone looking for help with snow removal!!!

We had three bedrooms, a hallway, and two staircases cleaned. Ron was very friendly, professional, and flexible with scheduling. We moved all the furniture out of the rooms before he came, so he was able to complete the job very quickly. Visible stains we had were completely gone and the carpet smelled nice after it dried. I also like that he sanitized the dog stains with products that are safe for pets and kids.

I hired Simply Snow Care to take care of the snow removal in my home for the 2018-2019 season. This was a flat fee contract, with agreed upon arrival times (i.e. driveway was to be done by 7:30am and 4:30pm). The first snow fall they did not show up. The second they arrived over 9 hours late. The third he sent his wife and small children to my home at 4:30am while it was still snowing, and did not come back so I could not get into my driveway later that day. The last experience was during the largest storm of the season, where they didn't show up and didn't reach out. I terminated their services and was stuck trying to find an option at the last minute. It was obvious early on that they could not honor the contract, and I offered them an opportunity to cancel and walk away, which they refused.

Located Seasonal Survival through a internet search. They are local and had excellent performance reviews. I was able to get in touch with Mack, the owner, right away and he scheduled the appointment for 1st thing the following morning. He showed up promptly, diagnosed a couple of issues and performed the service right away. I will connect with him again for any HVAC needs and will recommend him to others.

Very poorly. The person (Jane) only vacuum the house. My glass tables had streaks all over them. My kitchen and Bathroom appliances and sinks were dirty. It looked like the person might of sweep the floors but didn't wash them. There were places that still had dust all over selves in every room. I didn't see the person bring in any cleaning supply except rags and an old vacuum cleaner. I'm so stress because I wanted my house clean for the holidays and my guests. I don't have the time to clean myself and I can't get another company in before the holidays. It was a big rip off of service. Company was Cleaning 4 U Thorough and Efficient. I don't recommend Jane to anyone and won't ever use that company again.

I've had all my windows done by these guys. No one would even give me a quote for my basement window except for these guys. They are the most professional guys in town. They come in, perform the job, and are out all in one day. Windows are all high quality, custom, lifetime warranty and look fantastic. I highly recommend them.

I was very impressed on the job they did. The blending of the texture of the wall repairs was very impressive! They even painted the wall/ceiling line white where the previous paint job had gone on to the ceiling. Tom made sure they got in and did the job before we moved giving me time to be able to go in and clean the condo thoroughly after the painting was done. I have had some bad experiences with painters before but Tom and his crew are amazing!

My wife and I gave Chad, the owner, 84% of the entire project in cash up front ($8,755 CASH). This post is long and I encourage you to read it in its entirety. But if youre looking for a simple review then just take our bottom line. Chad took our money, delayed our project for months on end, screwed up the project while his workers made multiple mistakes, refused to work if it was ever too hot or rainy, and then demanded more money than my wife and I agreed to in our contract. Here is the timeline of our experience with Good Neighbor Fencing in 2018: FEB 2018 - My wife and I decided to put in a beautiful fence in our Sun Prairie backyard. We went with a scalloped, vinyl fence that cost just over $6K in materials. We wanted to find a qualified, highly rated fencing company to do the work. My wife found Good Neighbor Fencing online who, at the time, had one solid review. MARCH Met with Chad and agreed to have him and his company build our fence. Chad said that if we paid him in cash he would give us a 10% discount. APRIL We had new neighbors move in next door who liked our fence idea so much, they also agreed to hire Chad and Good Neighbor Fencing to do their fence at the same time. Our neighbors agreed to split the cost of the shared fence line. MAY - My wife and I then met with Chad and a local eatery and, over lunch, paid him $8,755 cash which, again, was 84% of the entire project with materials included. Chad insisted that the entire fence would start by June 30th and would take about a week. JUNE On June 29th, a day before the project was to begin at the latest, my wife texted Chad asking if he was still starting on the 30th and if he pulled a permit as he said he would. Chad replied, you need to take care of the permit. The heat will push us back a couple days. So my wife had to fill out the permit and the project was delayed slightly. This is peanuts compared to what was about to happen. JULY, 2018 July 9, 2018 - Still no sign of Good Neighbor Fencing or our fence. We once again texted Chad asking when he would start the project. He replied, Im hoping for a Friday. I will schedule Diggers Hotline. Three days later, Chad texted What are your thoughts on waiting until August 15th and getting $500 off? Otherwise we will be there on Monday. Keep in mind, this is already weeks after the project was scheduled to begin and if we waited until mid-August to begin, most of the summer would be gone. We had been anxiously awaiting the use of our fence for our dog and our four kids to enjoy. So we told Chad No, we want to get started ASAP. No more delays. Our neighbors, who are also awaiting their fence at this point, agreed with us. July 12, 2018 Chad texts us says I will set up delivery of materials. They will be delivered Saturday, July 14th. Thats right, Chad still had not even set up delivery when the project was supposed to being, at the latest, June 30th. July 15th, 2018 - Chad comes to our house to walk the property to see where the gates would be placed. He then informed us that we need to find a way to get rid of all the dirt his company would be removing from the post holes. He said it would cost an extra $300 to remove the dirt after he had previously mentioned that this was part of his service. At that point, after all the delays and now this added charge, we said there were a lot of red flags. Chad immediately responded with CONSIDER THE CONTRACT CANCELLED. He said the materials were ours and he would refund us $500 of the labor. We paid him over $8,500 cash up front. The math didnt add up and now we would be on the hook for finding a new fencing company to do the job with half the summer gone. So we begged Chad to reconsider and to please install our fence as we agreed upon. He finally agreed to come out Monday, July 16th to begin the project. July 16th, 2018 Chad and his team from Good Neighbor Fencing show up to our property and start installing the fence. We soon notice that his team is putting fencing in where there should be a gate. I ran out to explain this to the workers who thanked me for letting them know. Meanwhile my wife had texted Chad to confirm where the gate should go. Chad replied Got it. However, when I arrived home from work they still put in the fence where the gate should have been! To make matters worse, they drilled holes for the fence on the side of the vinyl post for a fence that shouldnt be there and had the post placed in concrete. That post was ruined and they would have to completely remove it and order a new post if they wanted to fix it, which they didnt. The measurement for where the gate should be placed was also wrong it was too narrow. So the gate would have to be cut down to accommodate the mistake. No easy task for a custom-made vinyl gate. July 17th July 19th Good Neighbor Fencing workers show up at approximately 10 a.m. each day and work until 3pm. They also took an hour lunch break. They worked just over 4 hours per day while continuing to add to their mistakes. Chad, who would show up occasionally, realized one of his workers glued a post-cap on without putting in a stiffener (which is required to attach a gate to this particular post). Chad actually blamed me for gluing the cap to the post (like I would have anything to do with it when I paid him to do the work). He then realized there was no way to fix it because, even by removing the post cap, the stiffener could not be placed in the post because they had cemented it in under our eave spout next to our house. That particular gate would have to be placed backwards and swing the opposite way than we wanted because of this mistake. After that week, the fence was about 85% complete leaving three gates to be installed and about a 20 foot section of fencing to be installed. Chad had ordered all of the materials except one gate which he forgot to order. Keep in mind, at this point the fence is still useless to contain our dog since there are open sections still remaining. THIS IS WHERE THE REAL FUN BEGINS!! AUGUST, 2018 August 10th The fence is STILL sitting only 85% complete. We have been unable to use our fence all summer because Chad and his workers have ghosted us. Chad finally responds to my wifes text with We will finish today. I need a check for $663 before proceeding for 3 gates and 3 stiffeners. This doesnt make sense to us because we had already paid for all the materials and the contract stated that all materials and labor would be included and there would be no additional costs. However, we were happy to pay it if, indeed, Chad somehow incurred these costs that were mistakenly not included in the contract. So we asked to see the Home Depot receipts to which he replied there will be no receipts. At that point, Chad said he would not finish our fence because he didnt trust us to pay. Because we asked for receipts! At this point, my wife called Home Depot and asked for the receipts which they were happy to provide for us. We then realized why Chad did not want us to see the receipts he had overcharged us for materials! He charged us $6,509. The receipt showed he paid just over $5,500. And he was asking for another $663! We also obtained our neighbors materials receipts and learned that our gates were showing up under their receipts. So he was charging our neighbors as well as us for the same gates! After asking for the receipts again, Chad texts me you are nothing but a couple of common thieves. I responded with thieves dont pay 85% cash up front and just ask to see receipts. Chad then suggested other fencing companies we should hire to finish the job because he was done with our project. August 28th, 2018 Chad sends a text to my wife saying just a heads up about small claims court. You will be served at work. August 30th - Chad texts again to my wife There will be a lien placed on your property for any unpaid invoices. Since that date Chad has bombarded us daily via email, text and certified mail with his unpaid invoice which is $800 higher than it should be for a job that he never finished! We have since hired another contractor to complete the fence. The job was finally finished in September. We were able to enjoy a few weeks in our fenced in yard before the cold weather began to hit. We obviously wish we would have known any of this was going to happen before hiring Chad and Good Neighbor Fencing.
