ACardinal Heating & Air ConditioningBoth technicians were prompt, professional, clean and courteous. You cannot tell that anyone was even here they did such a good job cleaning up. We had a small wiring job (new breaker circuit and multiple outlets) to be quoted and Electrician Mike completed the job immediately following the estimate. HVAC Mike arrived shortly after and completed the overdue checkup on our furnace. He even cleaned the filter on our dehumidifier -- I didn't even know it had one, lol! We will be doing a remodel on our main floor soon and will have Cardinal out to do the electrical, plumbing and gas for the job. My wife has commented twice already about how well they cleaned up after completing their respective projects!- Michael H.

AHappy To Help Home ImprovementI hired Patrick for a kitchen remodel. I needed the existing cabinets, sink, countertop, and tile removed. The space prepared for a new sink cabinet and a new wall cabinet to replace the existing cabinets. I first met Patrick and knew that I would like working with him. His estimate came in, and that sealed it. Patrick did an amazing job!!! He installed the new cabinets, countertop, some tile work, lighting, some new outlets and a new sink and garbage disposal. He did an amazing job on all of it!!! A great job on the electrical, plumbing, tile, framing in the wall for the new cabinet and replacing the existing sink cabinet, drywall, and preparing the new walls for final paint for me. Patrick had really great suggestions on materials and things that just made sense as we went along. He also was really open to my suggestions and changes as the project progressed. Not only is he a great contractor and amazing at what he does, he's a really kind person. It was a pleasure to have Patrick in my home for the project, and we had many great conversations and he is just a really good person. The project came in on time and UNDER budget! Well, a little over the original budget, but that was my fault because I added things like a garbage disposal, extra outlets, tile work, etc... But definitely under budget for all the work he did. I would hire Patrick again, for sure. I wish I could upload photos of my before and after. Great work Patrick!! Oh, and during COVID times, Patrick always had a mask on while working and I appreciate that.- Christopher K.

ACardinal Heating & Air ConditioningSmoothly and efficiently. The permit and required inspection appointments were all arranged prior to the appointment. Mike and Travis were organized and work really moved along without a hitch. Mike reviewed the work completed with me and instructed me in the use of my new panel and all house surge protector. Both gentlemen wore masks for safety and they left the house and yard looking great. Not a thing for me to do. Cardinal is an outstanding company and I am so glad I was referred to them. I now use them for all my heating, cooling and electrical needs.- Delores R.

AArch Electric IncAfter receiving quotes and going through a thorough review of 8 companies who do solar installs in the Madison area, we selected ARCH Electric as our vendor of choice and are super glad we did. First off, our sales rep, Stanley, was amazing. He was patient as I asked many questions and very responsive in tweaking the quotes to my requirements (1st star). He wasn't pushy at all, something that I had to deal with from about 50% of the other companies. Once I had a final proposal, the Arch Electric one fell in the middle regarding assumptions around our predicted system output and on the lower side in regards to cost. After 3 months of generation, I can say we have over-produced vs. the predictions (2nd star). In regards to the installation, Arch had completed the install 2 weeks before we were promised (3rd star), and when I noticed a problem during the install, Arch came back a second day to make sure I was 100% pleased, and did so with a smile on their face (4th star). I can also speak to their post-install service and support in that we had a microinverter fail (no fault of Arch's). After informing Stanley of this, Arch was back to our house within 1 week to get our system back up and running at full capacity (5th star). The fact that they have their own staff of techs really benefited us in this case. Beyond that, I also wanted to comment on one of the other major reasons I chose Arch, and that was the technology/quality they offer in their panels. In doing my research, the REC Solar Alpha series panels are market-leading for the latest technology, highest efficiency, and degradation guarantee. You can only find similar performance with Panasonic or LG panels but the REC panels come at a much lower cost. I recommend you do your research into panels when comparing quotes. This was a big differentiator for me. If you are looking at solar for your home, do yourself a favor and make sure you include Arch Electric in your evaluation. You'll be glad you did.- Patrick E.

AJim was a very good communicator and was able to give a general estimate over the phone based upon an inspection report we provided to him. They were able to come within our timeframe of a week, and did excellent work. Whenever my husband or I contacted Jim about anything, he always got back to us in a very short time. Agoodl. Monty showed up on time and went out of his way to help complete a job. He came to our home, took the broken shade with him and when it was clear that he could not fix it himself he called us, then went to Home Depot and brought back the sample book with the shade he thought most closely matched. With our ok he ordered it, brought it to us and installed the shade. The color matches almost perfectly. We are very happy with Monty's work.

AThis was about the 4th or 5th project we've had Adam and Pat complete. Per usual, workmanship and problem solving was excellent. We had attic finished in our historic, older home so not the easiest job. Labor rates are very reasonable and Adam is extremely trustworthy, practical in solutions, and customer service is above and beyond.
