Alberto and his staff were excellent! They kept us informed of any delays, and were flexible with their schedules to keep the project moving and on budget. They were open to our ideas and had our satisfaction as their goal.

It went well and looks beautiful. The leak issue was really small and Adam provided solutions to ensure it wouldn't do it again. Adam and Pat made sure all of the dust/mess was cleaned up and were good about communicating what was done and what was left to go within the project. They asked questions and made sure it was what I wanted. At the end of the day, with the leak being small, the actual cost was considerably less than the original quote. Materials and time were spelled out for me so I could verify it and ask questions. I will use them again.

John responded to us quickly, and came out within a couple of days to review the job with us. He did an excellent job of installing both the bathroom tile floor and shower surround including two alcoves, and an accent tile strip. Everything was well measured and set well. He spent 4 days completing the job, and addressed questions or requests to change something very quickly. Overall, his price was very reasonable. Definitely would hire again!

Excellent! We are so pleased with the work John did.  John removed the old carpet and vinyl on our first floor and installed laminate flooring. He removed the old baseboards and installed new baseboards. Throughout the process, every step was communicated and every question we had was answered.
John was very responsive, considerate, and professional. We had absolutely no problems and would definitely hire him again.

Two employees arrived, introduced themselves and got right at the work.  They were friendly and yet respectful of the fact that I was working from home.  They were scheduled to be there until 11:30 or noon and they ended up finishing early.

We purchased a home that was last decorated in 1967. The home had blue, white, and yellow shag carpet, and abundance of wallpaper and marigold yellow kitchen cabinets.
I needed some help to make my vision reality. After interviewing Interior Designers and Contractors, we met Maria. She specialized in listening to understand what I, as her client, wanted. Maria also questioned a few ideas that I had to make sure that was what I really wanted, and also offered suggestions that I didn't think of.
Maria is a fabulous designer-general contractor combination. When the next remodel event happens at this address, she will be the first and only person that I call. She was very professional, prompt and reasonably priced.

Lauren did a great job guiding us through the process of picking three new mid level vanity cabinets.  We took wood samples home to make the final wood selection and the final stain.  They ask for a deposit which was refunded when the samples were returned.
Ordered new cabinets on March 17th.  Good follow up by the sales person to keep us up to date with delivery to their warehouse.  Cabinets delivered around April 23rd or 24th.  Installation was scheduled for April 28th when the company confirmed delivery of the cabinets with the install window of 8:30 to 10:30 am.
At 8:45 am on April 28th we got the phone call that the installer was sick.  They would call on Tuesday to confirm new installation date.  I immediately called the company we ordered the Quartz counter top from and cancelled the template measurement that was previously scheduled for April 29th at 8 to 10 am.
Nonn's called on Tuesday afternoon, April 29th for an install on April 30th at 8:30 and I said no.  We agreed to a 10 am install time. I rescheduled the template guy for Thursday morning, May 1st.
On Wednesday at 8:30 am the electrician showed up and replaced the ceiling exhaust fan.  The install time was estimated to run 60 to 90 minutes.  The electrician finished at 9:30 and left and the Nonn's installer arrived early at 9:35 am.  The installation was completed by noon.
When you manage sub contractors, any kind of a delay impacts other contractors.  I don't blame Nonn's for the delay; stuff happens.  So no change to the rating for this delay.
The installer unpacked the cabinets on the driveway and brought them all into the house because it was suppose to rain.  He installed all the cabinets and ran the vacuum on the floor to pick up the wood chips from drilling.  He did lay tarps over our wood floor and we had tarps down over the bedroom carpet.
Near the end of the install our sales person, Lauren, arrived to check the cabinets and to confirm that we were happy with the cabinets. When the installer was done he gave us a tube of wax to fix future dents and a color marker for scratches.
There was one issue - the four doors did not have soft close hinges.  The drawers did have the soft close feature but not the doors.  So Lauren called and they had none at the store or warehouse so they were ordered.  They arrived on Tuesday, May 6th and she came out and installed them on May 7th.  She had some issues installing the hinges and getting them adjusted and aligned.
Cabinet finish was excellent.  The Cherry stain was slightly darker than the store sample.  We had expected it to be slightly lighter and to darken over time.  Quality construction was a huge increase over the "builder grade" that was in our 12 year old house.  We are very satisfied with the cabinets.
Pluses: Sales support was excellent.  Lead-time was acceptable.  Quality of construction is excellent at this price point.  Quality of finish was excellent.  The tube of wax and stain color tube is an excellent idea.  Installer did a good job with the installation.  Quick response to ordering the soft close hinges.  The holes for the water supply line and drain line were good on the left sink and outstanding on the right sink.  Right on center on one side and slightly off but well within tolerance on the other side.  I was impressed with his measurement skills.  You just can't do much better than this.
Minuses: Their was a dent in the 3rd cabinet near the bottom corner and raw wood was showing.  They did not repair, so I had to use the wax tube and stain color to fix the corner ding.  In addition, fixed one small nick on the front that was easily covered by the stain color tube.  I also colored the nail head that were driven into the side panel so you could not see the raw wood.  Factory should have fixed this before shipment.
The biggest complaint I have was the cleanliness of the cabinets and drawer.  There was a layer of dust over all wood surfaces.  It took me an hour with a wet and dry cloth to wipe down all surfaces.  A year ago we remodeled our kitchen and used a different company.  When they were done installing the cabinets they wiped down all surfaces and used a vacuum to get all the wood chips out of the corners of the cabinets.  We did minimal cleaning.  You won't believe all the wood dust inside the drawer cabinet.  The doors came out easily for cleaning.  This did not meet my expectations.  So be prepared to clean the cabinets your self.
Overall, I would do business with them again.

I scheduled an appointment with an "experienced" installer. His first question was "are you replacing the existing cabinets?"  My answer was no, we want to leave them installed and replace the flooring up to the base, to which he replied, that's difficult, and I said  that's why I want to pay a professional to do it.  He then proceeded to measure all the while telling me things that would not look right when he got  done. When the quote arrived, it was for installation only, no removal of the existing ceramic tile. It was obvious from the quote that the installers were not interested in this job, and their business is good enough to be able to pick and choose the easy jobs, however, a simple phone call telling me they were not interested would have sufficed. I had Bisbee's Flooring in Sun Prairie quote the job.  No Problem!  They completed the demolition and installation beautifully of our Asian Walnut floor.  They did such a great job, we had them come back and install new carpeting elsewhere in the house.

    The Groutsmith
Ceramic floor tiles in our family room were coming loose and the grout was crumbling.  I had contacted several tile contractors but none were interested in repair work.  We found The Groutsmith via a advertising flyer that came in the mail and gave them a call.
They responded in a timely manner, with a professional approach.   Mr. Bob Noeske inspected our tile floor (about 900 square feet) and gave us some options for resolving the problems.  We chose a primarily cosmetic solution that called for re-bonding some of the tiles, re-grouting more of the tiles and then agreed I would do the grout resealing myself.
All work was done in a timely manner.  Communication with Mr. Noeske was excellent and the results were satisfactory.
The Groutsmith operation and Mr. Noeske are knowledgable, well trained and equipped with a fl quiver of products and solutions to target tile and grout problems.  They repair horizontal, vertical and overhead ceramic tile.
