I called around to get a service call & found Worzella Htg & Cooling would come out for half the price others were quoting. They came, they tested, supplied me with options, & repaired my Central A/C within the same day. Booyah! Great Service. Will recommend Worzella to others. Have requested a quote from them for my nearing antiquated heating & cooling system.

  • Technicians were very skilled, but they had 2 test equipment malfunctions that delayed the work, and inadequate measurements at bid time made their job take too long; they had to modify hardware to make up for a poorly written work order. More difficulty came when they called the office to explain site conditions, and the home office worked very hard to bill me $500 more than the contract price, even though I observed no delays due to any fault of mine.

  • They managed to get here the same day even though it was the first hot day of the summer and had dozens of other calls. Service guy got it running and returned the same day with a part that was likely to fail again. It's a very old whole house unit. It's been working now for the last 3 years. Admittedly we don't use the a/c often.

  • My furnace is 20 years old. Some may say it's still new and others may say it's time to replace it. Call it bad luck or a signal that it's getting time to think about replacing the furnace, I had Badger out for three different repairs this winter. Because of the very cold winter we had, timeliness was of the utmost importance. Not only were the technicians prompt, they always had the parts necessary to make the repairs right away, without having to return to the shop. And to top it off, their prices were always reasonable. They will get the nod, if their price are competitive, when it comes time to replace the furnace.

  • These guys went above and beyond the call of duty. Their motto is to do more than the customer expects. They not only professionally installed my new furnace, they left my basement spotless and did a slight repair on my water heater. I would definitely call them again.

  • The guy came on time and was at my house for about 2-3 hours. He said he had located the leak, repaired it, and refilled the refrigerant/coolant and then advised that we have the unit checked every couple years for general maintanance. Everything seemingly went well.
    We used the AC here and there over the next 2 weeks, and then had it on most of July. In August, I turned it off when the weather was more pleasant. When I turned it back on mid August, we had the same problem that the air was not cool. When I called Ron's Refrigeration, I was told that they could send someone but it would be another service call charge and if they had to refill the refrigerant/coolant that we would have to pay for that again.
    It was over $250 to have that done, and they said they had fixed the problem and from my understanding should have tested the line to make sure there were no leaks. It was only 2 months since I had the service completed. I was disappointed that they did not stand behind their work, and saw no reason to have them come again to do the same thing, and potentially have this happen again next spring when we turn on the AC again.
    They were not rude, but they also were not very helpful or seem want to fix the situation. I am disappointed in the customer service I received, and will try to find another HVAC company that will provide the level of service I would like, fix the AC, and stand behind their work.

  • Todd (sales) is extremely friendly, easy to work with, and very responsive. He did a walk through of the entire home, as well as outside, discussed some things that may need to occur due to some structural issues and estimated a time he'd get back with a quote. When he got back with the quote (within time frame stated), we met at the house in person to go over the bid and 2 options. When asked how far out they were scheduling, he thought it might be a week plus, so the sooner we decided the better - other bids were still out there, but his was completely in the ball park of what was expected (hoped?!). When I called to accept the bid and schedule the job, we were able to get in the same week - great! Another heat wave was on the way.About the quote: Out of 3 total, the next lowest one was $500 higher, different equipment.
    Install day: Dave arrived right on time at 8 am, took a look at what he had to work with, then explained what he thought he might end up doing with a few things structurally; which ended up being no problem for the house at all. Todd arrived later to help for a bit, but Dave did an amazing job - Wow! It astounds me the level of skill sets a person must have to do this work. Dave was extremely professional and easy to work with, as well; finished and cleaned up by 4:30 and the A/C was running. He also fixed a problem with the furnace and water heater - both were leaking gas. I have already passed along many positive plugs about Ron's Refrigeration to people who ask about the A/C, and if I could give A++ on all accounts here, I certainly would!

  • Duct cleaning was expensive and messy but necessary for an 85 year old house. They were prompt and came on the day scheduled. Both the tech and salesman (Todd) were polite and knowledgeable. The follow up paper work came off smoothly and the energy rebate was taken care for me except for signing and popping into mail. The few minor things that needed looking at was taken care of by Todd since he is also a tech. That meant no waiting and taken care of right then at final inspection. Trane products are pricier than others but the quality of the product is what had me sold. I would definately use Ron's again.

  • They arrived around 8-8:30 in the morning and removed the old furnace, ran the new gas line, and installed the new furnace.  The work was completed around 3:30 in the afternoon. They did not turn on the new furnace because they said the propone tank was empty. They said that once the propane tank was filled all I had to do was turn on the furnace.
    That evening I cleaned up the laundry room where the furnace is located noticed that there were 2 large scratches on the top of my brand new wash machine where they had set tools. They also left soda cans, wall insulation on the floor, and had taken my clip on utility light that I had turned on so the back corner  of the laundry room had more light for them to work on. (To date they have not returned the light though they said they would and had taken it by accident)
    The propane truck came the next morning and informed me that the tank was low but not empty, so the furnace could have been tested by high tech the day before.  The gas line regulator was installed upside down so when the gas line was turned on it leaked. I called High Tech, and he said he would have someone come in the afternoon. He came and changed the regulator. The propane truck came back that same afternoon and then discovered that the gas line was illegally ran thru the interior of our house along the ceiling in the basement. The propane man was helpful and unhocked the illegally ran gas line and set up a temporary hose from the propane tank to the exterior gas regulator that then goes inside to the house. Because we are in Wisconsin, they could not trench the gas line until spring when the ground thaws. The Propane man then pressure tested everything and made sure that the furnace would turn on.
    I had my husband talk to High tech. High tech claimed they did not know you couldn't run a gas line thru the interior of the house and said to take the cost of the copper line and 1 hour of labor off of the price. (approximately $200) He did now know when they would be able to come take the now unhooked gas line down. To date they have not called or come to take the copper line down.
    My husband took the copper line down and filled in the holes that they drilled thru the siding to run the line.
    Just a side note on the service, while running the illegal gas line thru the basement, High tech also knocked down a number of items on my work bench including small hing pieces and hardware I had just painted for a project. They were scattered on the floor. If anything had been in the way, I was in my home office and they could have asked me to move things.
    I was very dissappointed with the work and it still makes my stomach crawl. I would never hire them again and hope nobody else has to deal with this. We were lucky that we had a back up heat source. We have a wood burner and had enough wood to heat the house for the time that we were without heat. One of these days I will just stop at his house and demand my light back!

  • After I hung up the phone I called rassmussen plumbing and they came out in about an hour. Cleared the drain, recommended a cleaning service for the water damage and gave me a discount for being a new customer. Just like Keil Plumbing I don't have time to waste either.
