Bob was very professional and patient. I was totally unable to use my tablet for anything and was ready to purchase a new one, even though this one is only three years old. Bob was able to recover my tablet back to a usable state and then did the work to clean up what was a horrible mess. He also shared information with me on security and how I might best back up my data. He was respectful and did a great deal of work for a more then reasonable price. I would highly recommend his repair/recovery services to anyone in need of that service. This has been, without a doubt, the BEST computer service I have ever received, including IT support at my workplace when I was still working. AMAZING!!!!!!!

Very disappointed that we made a reservation a month in advance and they didn't have a room available. We called the manager and he never called back. We just went to the Quality Inn in Rhinelander instead.

We decided to get home internet service and the best price was a bundle so it changed the service we normally have for telephone. The equipment arrived promptly and all I had to do was plug in a power cord and the phone and I was ready to setup. The service has been great, we've had no outages or trouble. I home school, so reliability is very important, and we have been very satisfied.

    Ken Duhr Roofing
He was very nice, came to the house with samples and measured the area.  He gave me a quote on the phone for materials and labor.  When I said I wanted a different kind of shingles than those he recommended, he was helpful with pros and cons of the shingles I was considering.  Then I asked whether I could purchase the materials myself, as I thought I would charge them to my card.  He was helpful, gave me a list of the materials needed.  Well I couldn't figure out half of it, so he went to the store and had a quote made up for me.  I purchased the materials direct from the store, so the price of $3000 is labor only.  His quote for materials was very close to what I paid, I only went that way for my own reasons.
The crew was quiet, friendly and worked with no problems.  They put down tarps and left no mess.  I have several skylights and they did a beautiful job around them as well.  They started on Thursday,  and worked Friday.  Then the weekend came, then Monday it poured, so it was finally finished on Wednesday.  It took a bit longer than expected, but the results are great!  I love the new roof.

UPDATE:  Spring of the following year there was leakage by the largest skylight.  I called him in a panic and he said he would be over to fix it when it wasn't raining.  He thought it was probably just a fold in the ice dam material.  He told me he would just come and fix it one day and then call to let me know he had done it.  It was a rainy spring, and I wasn't too concerned when I never heard back from him.  I left a message a couple months ago, and he did call back, but didn't have a time frame when he would get to it. However, it is now July, and I have not heard from Ken that he is planning to come fix it.  In the meantime, I have sold my house and I need this corrected before closing.  I left him another message today, and hope that he responds.

During a term of about 3 to 4 months (late 2013/early 2014) I had intermittent internet service at my location.  Through many daily calls with tech support, and multiple visits by tech support personnel, there seemed to be no reason for the signal dropping nor my lack of internet.  After a neighborhood sweep of the network, a problem was found further up the line which apparently was back-feeding into my service.  Upon completing that situation, there have been limited outages.

    Ken Duhr Roofing
I had never met Ken, only by phone contact. He was very prompt, and professional. He gave me a website to pick out shingles, kept me updated on when he would do the work and was very honest. As far as I know, he cleaned up and disposed of the old shingles. We have a caretaker that would have informed me if anything wasn't done properly and we were very satisfied with the work. Ken's price was very reasonable, but we had a slight problem with his quote. He offered to honor the contract, but I didn't think that would be fair (even with the error, his bid was still very reasonable), and we settled on paying for the extra materials, which was more than fair.....thanks Ken. I would highly recommend him and would use him again.

10/25/11: Purchased Angie's List deal from AAA Anderson's for $109.
11/21/11: I left message for Kim in the office re: snow & ice, etc. and whether they still plan to come. I received a call-back from Kim and reminded her about needing the taller ladder and younger crew. She said it wasn?t a problem and that most of the work was done from the inside unless there are heatilators. I responded that I thought we had heatilators. She said they didn?t need to reschedule.
11/21/11: 12:25pm ? Jason and another guy arrived and, after looking at conditions, including pitch of roof and ice/snow, requested that they reschedule. He was very apologetic ? to the point of saying he?d go up if I wanted him too. I assured him I didn?t want him to go up if he didn?t feel comfortable with it and that there was no urgency as far as we were concerned. He indicated that Kim said she would validate our coupon for as long as it took to get them out here.
12/1/11: Scheduled to come out 12/1/11 but Jason called to reschedule due to snow. Kim will call to reschedule.
12/9/11: Still no call from Kim so I called AAA; spoke w/John. Checked garage roof; north and south, still snow-covered. He says they will honor Angie?s list coupon until the job is done. Also said we can get a refund on the Angie?s list coupon if we want. He said to call when snow is off the roof and they?ll get Jason out to do the job.
12/13/11: Phone call John to let him know all snow is melted off the roof. He?ll send Jason out 12/14/11 after 3pm.
12/14/11: Phone call from Dan at AAA Anderson; too wet today so they?ll try to reschedule for Saturday. He?ll have Kim call to reschedule. Received phone call from John to rescheduled for 12/17/11 between 1-3.
12/19/2011: Phone call to Dan re: getting a refund for Angie?s list deal ($109). He had spoken w/John and John said they will issue a refund when he and Kim return from vacation (around Jan 3). When I asked, he said we don?t need to request a refund through Angie?s list ? that John/Kim will handle. Also told him that Jason had done his best to get the job done.
1/23/2012: Left voicemail at AAA regarding refund on Angie?s List Deal. Requested that they call to tell me the status of the refund.
1/24/12: When I received no call-back from 1/23/12 vmx, I called AAA again and spoke w/John. I asked about refund and explained that Dan had told me on Dec 19 that John and Kim would issue refund when they got back from vacation on Jan 3. John then said customers usually go through Angie?s list to get credit card refund but that he can give refund by check if I want. I told him I?d go through Angie?s list but if I have any problems I?ll give him a call back. I then checked Angie?s List to see what I needed to do to get refund and found they require an attempt at resolution w/the provider and if that doesn?t work, documentation must be submitted to Angie?s List for them to do anything.
1/24/12: I called John a second time and told him what I?d discovered. He said he would put check in the mail today and that he wanted to make it as easy as possible for me ? yeah, right.
I don't recall the date, but Jason did make an attempt to clean the chimney but he was climbing on the roof, slipping around on the steeply pitched roof. I finally called it off because I was afraid for his safety.
The refund finally came through but this was one of the most frustrating experience I've had and I would never use them for anything, chimney cleaning or appliance repair.

    CEDARWOOD MINI WAREHOUSING
Monthly charge is really reasonable.  If you're going to be there long term, I believe they give you a free month for paying for six months in advance.  Overall, it was a good experience but it would be nicer if the areas around the buildings were paved since it can get a little muddy after it rains.  Also, some of the units/buildings are older and the doors and latches can be a little tricky.  They're only in the office until noon, but the owners are super friendly and helpful.

    Ripco Credit Union
Ripco is an awesome credit union!!  They have a wonderful staff, with SUPER customer service!!  My checking is free which is a huge plus!  Their online banking is user-friendly and has a lot of great features (transferring money between accounts, seeing all your transactions including pending charges, viewing actual scans of cleared checks, applying for a loan, etc.) AND it's easily accessible on my phone through their mobile banking.  They also have a terrific website!  I occasionally buy merchandise on the web from overseas companies and when I use my Ripco debit Mastercard I'm never charged a currency conversion fee (but every other credit card I have charges me a conversion fee).  More than anything, their customer service is wonderful...from the tellers, to the customer service reps to the best receptionist in the area! LOVE Ripco!

    Ken Duhr Roofing
Took roughly a week for an estimate. No problem. 3-4 weeks to start it?. Again no problem Two days to complete with a three man crew plus Ken.
Ken is very, very easy to deal with. He was onsite over 50% of the time working and overseeing the project. Ken was definitely in charge. He knew his stuff without question.
There were several minor issues with the roof once they started removing the shingles that Ken knew how to handle.
Only estimate I received was Ken's but I knew it was in the ballpark and it was clear at that time that Ken knew his stuff.
One observation and not a complaint. You're more than likely going to go to voicemail. It appears he has times when he returns your call. If you were on a roof would you keep your phone, pencil and paper with you? I sure wouldn't
    Only good things to say.
