    Kingdom Construction
John got back to me right away, quoted the price and the amount of time and got to work. Removed a door and built up the wall, drywalled and painted. Looks fantastic, excellent price. Would (and am) going to use again.

    Bast Painting & Services
We needed a kitchen ceiling painted along with a small powder room. I described everything to him over the phone and he gave me a bid with a price range that varied by $200 between the low and high end. We worked back and forth to agree upon a date and he was very responsive and always got back to me when he said he would. We finally found a date that worked for both of us and he was there right on time! We had one small wall that would not even require a pint of paint (or so) and he actually offered to use some that he already had so we didn't have to go out and buy more than we needed. He did a fantastic job. He was careful with the kitchen cabinets, no specs of paint anywhere and the edging between the wall and ceilings is nearly perfect (and we have some crooked walls!). He also did a great job of cleaning up when he was done. Oh, and he actually came in at the low end of his bid! Just an overall nice guy and great painter. We will definitely call on him again next time we need help.

    BIG DAVE'S SERVICES
Big Dave was a pleasure to work with. In the middle of a bath and kitchen remodel my husband sustained a severe back injury. Big Dave and his guys stepped in to complete the work. They didn't do anything we did not ask for, gave good estimates when we asked for extra things not included in our original contract and made our experience a great one. They created a new wall in the kitchen to hide the tankless water heater, painted it, installed cabinets and a sink. In the bathroom they placed the tub surround, painted and finished installing the vanity. Then we asked them to replace the drop ceiling in a hallway, it was quickly taken care of. We will definitely use them again in the future.

    Guzman Drywall
Mr. Guzman did an excellent job on our project. He worked quickly and efficiently, consulted us when questions arose, and met every necessary deadline. He kept drywall dust to a minimum (something that other drywall contractors we have used in the past did not do) and did an excellent job painting as well. Aware that the project included some unexpected glitches owing to the original construction of the house, we happily volunteered to pay an additional premium over his original estimate. (He did not request this.)

    Casablanca Painting
The painting work was good. Took three tries to connect. Said I would get a discount because he didnt show for first 2 appointments, but I didnt. Asked me for lights to use when they came to paint. Got paint on my cork floor and left it.

    Belanger Painting LLC
The initial meeting was fine. He gave me an estimate and told me to go to Sherwin Williams and pick out color. then to call him and we would schedule it. I picked out the colors and started calling him. MULTIPLE TIMES over weeks without any response, leaving multiple voice mails. The last time I called I told him if he's too busy then at least have the courtesy to tell me so I could move on. No response. Im done ! I came on here to make sure I would get a professional dependable person. This is not the case.

    Sommers Painting LLC
We hired Sommers Painting LLC to paint the entire inside of a 3 bedroom house. We met with them and later received their estimate, which we considered high, but were over a barrel to get it done, so we hired them. They were to paint all ceilings and closets one coat of paint, and all walls two coats. When I saw the finished job I was quite disappointed in how it looked. Dingy. Not fresh and clean like new paint usually looks. As a lay person, I figured I must have chosen a poor color (white) and that was why it looked so blah. Coincidentally or not, we later discovered five gallons of wall paint in the basement - four unopened and one with barely any of it used. We hired a professional painter to paint the walls, using the paint left in the basement, and the different was remarkable. The house now looked the way it should have. Old paint bleeding through was clearly visible in areas, which would not have been the case had two coats been applied. Nothing was caulked. Cracks were visible. Mrs. Sommers attributed that to not being in the contract. In my experience, caulking and repair of minor cracks is part of a professional job. Our new painter told us that they didn't even remove the electrical plates when they painted. Behind the plates was a former paint color. There was a water stain on a ceiling that was still there when Sommers completed their work. I contacted the Sommers. They claimed to have prepped and taped the house and applied all paint (ceilings, closets, and two coats on all walls) in A DAY AND A HALF. They insisted that they did all the work contracted. They attributed having so much leftover paint to mistakenly ordering twice as much as they needed. They never asked to see the house or to do anything to make it right. My request for a partial refund was flatly refused. In view of how the house looked and their lame excuse for having so much leftover paint, we found their claims to be not credible.

Above & Beyond General Contracting LLC
They arrived on the jo and had to coordinate the work with the vanity and vanity top contractors. The work was completed about a week later due to the other contractor not being able to start as originally planned. Other than that the initial start being delay the work progressed smoothly and was completed in 4 days.

    Belanger Painting LLC
It didn't. After reading all of the positive reviews on Angies List, I was excited to obtain what I thought to be a fair estimate for the job. I made it clear as to our timeline as work was still being done in the house, figuring Paul would schedule us into his upcoming dates. As the time neared, however, Paul, blaming the weather for backing him up would not give me date. On the one occasion he did, he cancelled saying he could only find one employee to use that date. I texted him one last time looking for a date, but have not heard back from him at all. Very disappointed. I'm still painting the kitchen myself and hired out the rest.

    Bast Painting & Services
Excellent service. Looks amazing. Tim and Dave really know how to do quality work. The white doors on the inside of our home have a beautiful satin finish. They took the time to remove the hardware from the doors in order to apply the paint evenly. Tim was able to help recommend color choices that were perfect. They were very organized and left our home as it was before they started. Highly recommend their service!
