Jeff came on time and did testing on the oven and stove. He noticed that it takes longer than normal for the oven to heat up and also the stove top did not get up to the temperature it should. He then checked the electrical outlet and found it was not giving out the proper voltage to make the stove/oven work correctly. I will call the building management to take care of the outlet repair.

Called him after calling a couple of other places. One (through Samsung) wanted 109 just to schedule an appt which was a 4 day wait and the other said they didn't work on Samsung. Got David's name through here and called him at 4:00pm. He told me what he thought the problem was and he kept two of the parts on his truck. He was here at 5:30 and gone an hour later with the repairs made. He showed me the parts as they came out and he was exactly right. An engineering flaw with Samsung. Very happy.

Very happy with responsiveness and service. I was impressed with overall cost. I was anticipating for a four hour service call with motor replacement (since my washer was not under warranty) to be much more (note - cost is estimated because of time elapsed since service).

We fired him as the result of the following sequence of events.  Technician called me prior to arriving at house asking what problems I was having with my dryer.  While I was trying to tell him the various issues, he cut me off and said the order said an F1 error.  I said that was one of the issues, and then I reminded him that his instructions were to come to my house, diagnose, and call the engineering team to which he told me he was going to call the engineering team anyhow.  He called back and wanted to know what parts had been replaced.  I told him to give me a minute to look at the previous repair orders and read to him what they said.  He then asked me which board was replaced because "there were two of them," and  if I wanted him to order the parts and how was I going to pay for them.  I asked how he knew what the problem was without coming to the house and looking at the dryer and was told by him that he knew what the problem was without looking at the dryer.  At this point my husband took the phone from me and told the technician that he was fired.  My husband tried calling the main number and go no answer.  I called back to Whirlpool and reported the incident.

Steve did an excellent job.  Our dishwasher stopped draining.  Steve took the dishwasher apart and found that the pump was jammed.  He fixed the jam and tested to make sure everything worked and there were no leaks.  His overall price was reasonable.  I would use him again for appliance repairs.

This was the second time we used them. They did a very nice job. We had some issues with the ice maker and what have you. The fan was rattling and all kinds of stuff, things that I don't necessarily know about. I'm pretty good, pretty handy myself, but I don't know about refrigerators with that kind of detail. So he came in and took care of it. It was very well done. He was very professional and on time. That was the second time he was there. I would use that person again, absolutely. They're good. They're really good. Everything is fine and everything is working. Their responsiveness is very good. In fact, I called them over the weekend and they got in there.

He came the same day we called, never seemed rushed.  Job was done in timely manner.  Job cost us less than he initially estimated.  We will recommend him to anyone and will use him again if necessary, this is a smart business man.   Jeff was a pleasure to do  business with.....

I called Jeff because my dryer  suddenly began "squealing like  a pig" at the end of a drying cycle.   He came the next morning and proceeded to take the dryer apart. He first began by informing me of the fragility of the "bib" on the front of the dryer, that being that it can be damaged with removal because of the fragility of the part (cost ($90.00).  He removed it without problem, and then proceeded to continue to remove parts until he got to the problem area, which was in the "guts" of the dryer.  An idler that allows the drum to work properly was non functional, and needed replacement. Jeff inspected the belt on the dryer, and felt it was in good repair. I talked with him about the thermistor on the dryer, as I felt it may not be working properly. He asked me why, and after further discussion, we decided to change this out also.  Jeff then went to get the parts, along with a new belt (my request as long as he had the dryer apart), and I used the time to vacuum the inside of the dryer, and wipe it out of the accumulated lint.  Jeff was emphatic about being cautious doing this because of sharp edges.  He then replaced the idler, belt, and thermistor and ran the dryer through its paces to ensure it worked properly.  Jeff offered to remove his shoes when he arrived, was very informative and patient with all my questions, and did excellent work!    He was timely, professional and very reasonable in price, and will be my" go to" source for appliance repair.

One day I discovered that our 10+ year old refrigerator was making the normal humming sound but had stopped cooling the food inside.  I found Jay Appliance through the BBB site, verified their work through this site  and called them.   The gentleman who answered the phone asked some basic questions and  explained what service he could and could not provide.  I scheduled him to come out to take a look at the refrigerator.
He arrived promptly at the promised time and found two faulty parts on the refrigerator.  He provided an estimated cost to replace the two parts and the time-frame they would be available in.  He also explained that I should evaluate spending the money on repair versus just buying a new refrigerator.  I was impressed by his honesty ? he was trying to talk me out of spending $300 with him!
Repairs were completed two days later; and a month later the refrigerator has shown no signs of disrepair. Job well done!
