Appliance Repair reviews in Oregon

Real People ~ Real Reviews ~ Real Results

  • What a terrible experience from Sears!  We ordered a dryer and were told it would be delivered tonight.  No one showed up to deliver the dryer.  When we contacted Sears to ask when our dryer would be delivered, they told us the order had been cancelled.  Unacceptable.  We have been disappointed time and time again by Sears, not only by the appliances we have purchased, the warranties that are not followed, or poor service from start to finish.  I think we have finally learned our lesson and will never shop at Sears ever again!

  • Noticed that the refrigerator did not seem very cool. Checked freezer all ok there. Put a thermometer in refrigerator and temp was 56 degrees.
It is now 4:15pm on Thursday, I called Tri-County Appliance in Oregon, WI requesting service. She said that they were booked for Friday but could be here on Monday and then asked what the problem was. When I told her the refrigerator was not cooling she said that she could put me on the schedule for Friday and try to fit me in if possible. I took it.
I got a call at 9:50am on Friday and the repair person was there in 20 minutes. He diagnosed the problem and replaced the fan in less than an hour! He was friendly, personable and really knew what he was doing.
I have also used them in the past to repair my clothes dryer.
Tri-County goes out of their way to help out their customers. Much better than the big box stores.

  • I called Tri County Appliance Repair about water staying in the softener dispenser, The appointment was two days later as this was not an emergency. Two men were sent since I have a stacking washer and dryer. They cleaned out the dispenser and said this should fix the problem. They held the bill over the weekend in case I still had a problem. There was no longer a problem and the bill was sent. There was only a charge for the service call, since they actually had no repairs. I asked them to show me how to remove the dispenser so that I could keep it clean in the future. They were prompt, courteous, and helpful to prevent the same problem in the future.

  • The repair man came to check our problem and ordered a part via phone while still at our house. Thorough, fast service. Unfortunately when he came to install said part, he found that the part was broken in the box. He immediately ordered another part and came back out to the house as soon as it was in. In the mean time he helped take a look at a minor problem with our freezer and made adjustments free of charge. We were very pleased with the overall service and would highly recommend this company.
