    Brothers Moving & Storage
Terribly unprofessional, unrealizable and horrific experience. Jennifer was the bearer of bad news with no solution. We were told Chris would call and he NEVER did. The NIGHT BEFORE (4:54 PM) our scheduled 8am move, Jennifer called and unapologetically cancelled on us stating there werent any availabile movers. We were screwed, especially because it was too late for us to find anything else. And, we had booked then over one month in advance. My wife and I both took off work and had to be out of our apartment the exact day that we had to move out. When you move timing is everything. Jennifer said Chris would call back in 5 minutes and we heard nothing. I called Jennifer back an hour later. She said her manager, Chris, would call me in 30 minutes. NOTHING again. They completely left us hanging and messed up our move top to bottom. Their motto is that they are the most reliable moving company in Milwaukee. What a joke! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY if you have to truly move on the day scheduled. And, NEVER book a company that does not take a down deposit, because they are not invested. I RECOMMEND Two Men and a Truck. Even if they are running behind, they Always show up. Unprofessional, unreliable, unhelpful, disrespectful and dishonest.

College Hunks Hauling Junk and Moving
Despite a scheduling change on the part of College Hunks, this company bent over backward to accommodate. The owners were in constant contact, added many more movers to both load and unload, at no additional charge and took extra steps to ensure everything was Well taken care of! They even hauled away the extra bags and boxes that were being disposed of which saved us an extra charge from the apartment management! What a bunch of great young men and an excellent company!

    You Move Me
Everything went great! The estimate was very close to the actual time needed. The movers were there when they said they would be. Brandan and Jimmy were professional, courteous and handled all of my stuff very carefully. They seem to enjoy what they do, they worked very well together and they both have a great sense of humor which put everyone at ease. I would very highly recommend them!

    Efficient Moving & Cleaning
It went very well.  The basement was not the most organized to begin with.  Richard and his 2 workers took direction well and got things moving in no time.  They took apart a bowflex exercise machine, an 8 foot workdesk, and whatever else needed to be taken apart in order to get it out.  They were courteous, professional and very hardworking.  We received outstanding value for the money paid.

All My Sons Moving & Storage

This was a two-day move.  On day one, the team (Dale, Mike, and Micah) packed the truck with our things from the condo and the storage unit.  They arrived on time.  They were friendly.  They were careful with the boxes of china, etc.  They packed the truck efficiently to the top, making maximum use of the space.  They worked well together and quickly, but without undue haste.  They wrapped all the dressers and desks with shrink wrap, and they used blankets on the bigger furniture pieces.  The packing took as long as expected (3 hours).  I was very pleased.

Day two did not go so well.  They met me at the new house with the truck for the unpacking.  They seemed grumpy and in a rush.  I was asked to pay for the move immediately, which put me off a bit.  How did they know how long it would take?  They broke a small bookshelf when one of the movers fell on top of it.  They were throwing boxes to each other as they unloaded the truck, and one of the movers had my box or ornaments tipped sideways under his arm (until I rescued it).

QUOTING AND PRICING:  The estimator, Michelle, was very friendly.  She came to my condo and looked at all my things.  The cost is $89 per hour with 2 movers or $129 per hour with 3 movers.  She quoted me 8 hours at $109 (since she didn't know if I would get 2 movers or 3) or $872.  She also quoted me a 10% fuel charge of $87.  There was a $50 charge for tape, wrap, and quilts.  The total estimate was $1,009.  However, Michelle felt the move would only take about 6 hours.  So, in my mind, I was thinking the total would be about $600 or $700.

Michelle was right.  The move took 6 hours, so I was surprised when the bill was $960.30.  In addition to charging me 6 hours at $129 (or $744), I was also charged an additional $109 "travel" charge.  In addition, there was the $87 fuel charge - calculated at 8 hours, not 6, and the total was not added correctly - it was $20 too high.  On the other hand, the $50 charge for tape, wrap, and quilts was missing.  And they did not charge me to store my things on the truck overnight.

DAMAGE:  The small bookshelf was completely destroyed when one of the movers fell on it.  The movers did not apologize for breaking it or offer to reimburse me for it.  Their attitude was "Oh, well".  Later on, one of the movers did apologize to me, however, again, there was no offer to pay for it or instructions for how to be reimbursed.  Also, a day or two later, I noticed that a dresser drawer does not open properly.  It is completely off the track, and because of the design it is not something that I can fix.  (We even emptied the dresser and tipped it upside down to see if we could fix it.)

CUSTOMER SERVICE:  Justin, in the office, has good customer service skills and was always friendly when I called in.  I called him a couple of days after the move to give him feedback (good and bad) about the move.  He transferred me to Gary, the owner. Gary seemed put out at having to deal with me.  He did not seem interested in my feedback.  He was completely silent while I was talking, however he had me on speaker phone and there was a great deal of noise in the background, which was distracting.  When I was finished, all he said was, "Well, was there any damage?"  I explained again about the bookshelf and the dresser.  He said he wondered why I was complaining about the price, since it came in under the estimate.  He told me he was not supposed to be in the office that day; he had only stopped in for a minute; he told me he was going to look into the matter and call me back.  He never has.

What a great job they did. I think they were overwhelmed with the scope I the job when they arrived, but jumped right in and helped me sort things to go to charity, trash and storage unit, they left both the garage and my storage room clean. They dropped off my charity items to Habitat for Humanity, took my junk to the trash, and loaded up two trucks twice to take my saved items to my storage unit. Can't say enough good things about all of them,

    Brothers Moving & Storage
It was great; we had two very nice gentlemen helping us move and they did it in a very quick and respectful manner. It was the cheapest company that we had found and nothing was damaged. Although they did charge by the hour, they didn't waste any time.

They charged $94 an hour. They were really great. There were two young men and they were professional and diligent. They did it very quickly and they were very polite. Nothing got broken or damaged in any way.

    J C Triplett & Sons Moving
They got a late start (showed up at 9:30 instead of 9), but that was my only real complaint. The crew was very professional and respectful of our stuff. The truck they brought was pretty much the perfect size to fit everything. With a three man crew, two guys moved the items from inside to the truck, while the third guy packed the truck as efficiently as possible. We only had them moving our large items so they weren't doing any packing or boxing. They worked hard throughout and weren't going to take a lunch but we forced them to. They delivered our stuff to an apartment and also our storage facility. Their rates ($120/hr) were the best we found in Milwaukee and they were also one of the only ones we found that had availability to handle our lady minute request for moving services. All in all, they helped us out for approximately 7.5 hours and moved us from Oak Creek to Hales Corners and New Berlin.

Behrens Moving Co- Allied Van lines
The move went flawlessly.  Team worked tirelessly to make the move quick and efficient, and to minimize the our costs by not wasting any time.  The crew was friendly and respectful of our stuff, and got us settled into the new house without incident.  They were not the cheapest quote we got, but we are convinced that they were worth the money.  Would definitely use them again and recommend them to friends and colleagues.
