Appliance Repair reviews in Neenah

Analysis went well. Brought part back and repair went well, BUT then another part had issues that had no issue before the repair. They sent back a repair person and fixed the new issue and we negotiated a deal that both sides could live with. All along their repair technicians gave us options, were professional and went beyond expectations.

Diagnosed power failure. Three visits and replacing 3 circuit boards replaced. Unfortunately did not fix the problem. We decided it was a wiring failure in the cabinet. More cost effective to buy a new fridge. Even though he had made 3 trips and spent his time working with GE. He only charged me the original travel charge.

Service went well. Called Monday morning, they arrived in the afternoon and told me what was wrong with my washer. Order the parts for me right away & then called on Tuesday morning letting me know that the parts had arrived. Came over right away to install & now my washer is working again. Very professional & cleaned up after they were done working. Will definitely call again if I ever need any appliance fixed.

    Kelbachs Appliance Service
Extremely well. He knew of issues with our refrigerator model. He was honest in his dealings with us. He arrived on time, was considerate of our home environment, was personable, and repaired the refrigerator in a timely manner--especially considering this happened during a major heat and humidity wave.

Very unhappy with their service! He came and open up our Samsung dishwasher and worked on it.  The dishwasher never worked. Then the Home Warranty informed us that this person informed them that he does not work on Samsung appliances. We made several attempts to get a hold of the service provider and he never once response.

Kevin was the person who came to our house.  He was a nice enough guy.  I have nothing against him but I will never use this company again.  Unfortunately there is some price gouging going on in this business.  I picked this company because of all the positive reviews on Angie's List but unfortunately I did not have one of those positive experiences.  Kevin cleaned out the boot in my washer which wasn't very dirty.  He quickly determined that we needed a new rubber boot and claimed that ours probably wore around the seal causing it to leak.  I did my research on the internet and knew this was a common problem.  He quoted me a price of $360 claiming that the part was $200 and it was labor intensive.  I told him that I probably would just buy a new washing machine for this price.  He quickly said it would be $94.90 for the service call.  After he left, I called Howie Voight and they told me they could get the part shipped to me by Monday for $83.  I looked on Sears' website and could get the part for $67.  I bought it off Amazon for $55.  Regardless I don't know why they need to have over 100% markup on their parts.  What a profit margin!  I watched a youtube video that was 7 minutes long on how to fix this part.  I took apart my machine in roughly 30 minutes.  It took me a long time to get it back together because I did not have a spring expansion tool which you need to put the spring loaded ring back around the boot.  If I had this tool, this project would have cost me $55 and taken about an hour.  So his statement that the part was $200 and it was labor intensive was completely inaccurate.  So I paid them $94.90 for 30 minutes in which he cleaned out my boot and looked under my machine.  He was there for less than 30 minutes and his diagnosis was not completely accurate as I found two small holes in the boot by the drain where it was leaking so it actually wasn't worn around the seal.

My 11 year old front loading LG washer started making a huge racket during a spin cycle. I called J D Appliance and another repair person. J D returned my call with in a couple of hours and told me what he suspected was wrong based on my description. He estimated it would cost approximately $375 - 450; but would not know for sure until he got the actual model and looked up the actual part. He made an appointment for that afternoon to come and diagnose the problem for certain. The cost for diagnosis was $20.00 which would come off the total bill if I did the repair with him.

He arrived in a timely manner and quickly looked at my washer and knew what part he needed. He told me he would call that evening after looking up the part cost. As promised,

Discussed the repair and cost with me. Then assisted me with a decision to have him order parts and repair or attempt it on my own. The part was available online for 1/2 the provider cost. I attempted the repair myself and was successful.
I forget his name, but the tech was extremely terrific!

They were very neat and very clean. Their service was excellent. We had no complaints. We were very happy with them. They had to install a different unit because we do not have any air ways, any forced air. It worked really nice. They did not have to tear the house apart or anything. They used some in the basement, and they came into the attic. They are a very honest company, and the workmen were all extremely friendly, helpful, and explained everything very thoroughly. We felt that their price was adequate for what they did. It might have been a little high, but not too high. I highly recommend them.

    All Brands Appliance
We were very pleased with All Brand's service.  Their name is appropriate because we have a Sub-Zero refrigerator, and we were struggling to find someone who could work on that brand until we talked with All Brands.  Since the refrigerator is over 20 years old, we didn't want to spend a lot of money repairing it but hoped to keep it working until we complete a planned renovation of our kitchen next year.  All Brands said replacing the compressor might be the permanent fix, but recommended recharging the refrigerant as a lower cost approach that might keep it running for another year.  It has worked great for the two months since the repair was done.
