Our 45-year-old, 2 stories 2,200 sq. ft. home has been suffering from poor performing air conditioning, especially on the second floor, for about the last five years. We knew it was getting less efficient, by the year, and finally decided it was time to get something done. We started with Angies List, and contacted the top 6 companies, based on number of reviews, and overall grades by customers, as listed in our HVAC service area, for bids on replacing our entire system. Jay from Kettle Moraine HVAC was our 3rd person in the house, so we had some knowledge of what to expect by his visit. He spent more time providing information about how the various components work together, the options (Good, Better, Best), and even spent time figuring out the best bang for the buck was considering rebates, and system performance. He also spent time measuring the air flow at each supply register in the house, just to make sure we didnt have a ducting issue. None of the other companys estimators came even close to showing Jays level of expertise, knowledge, let alone customer orientation. Once we collected all the bids, and equalized them as to equipment, efficiencies, installation, permits, warranties, etc., Kettle Moraine HVAC came out squarely in the middle of the pack, pricing wise. Our decision to go with Kettle Moraine HVC was easy, once we started researching the types of issues people typically experience with new HVAC systems. It was clear that the quality of the installer(s) and the dealer supporting their installation and servicing the warranty should anything arise, was the real key to an efficient system and a happy customer. Installation was scheduled within a week, and went off without a hitch. Craig and Max were right on time, and left our home (the areas they worked in) cleaner than when they arrived. Excellent installation, and excellent demonstration / explanation as to how everything works from the thermostat. We have only had the system for a few days, but the comfort level in the house is significantly better, and I cant even really tell if its on, other than to feel the cool dry air coming from the supplies. Excellent system, and I would suggest that if your in the market for a new furnace, and or air conditioner, you at least put Kettle Moraine HVAC on your list of companies to contact for a bid.

The tech was professional and on time and fixed the AC, but we were charged $818.73 for the service. Two inexpensive parts (a new contactor and new capacitor) were installed, which would have cost less than $50 online. Despite requesting an itemized invoice from both the service tech and the office, we never received one. We certainly expected to pay for the convenience of not fixing it ourselves, but the amount they charged us was beyond ridiculous.

    Droegkamp Furnace Co
Perfect! Another contractor had told me that I needed to replace the entire AC unit. I called Droegkamp for a second opinion. The serviceman arrived promptly, took one look, and immediately noticed that the capacitor looked bad. He replaced it, and it's been working fine now for a couple of years!

    Faithful Heating & Air
The technician ran out of the parts I needed that day (my appointment was early evening). But he promised to be back the next day and he lived up to his word. Fixed my unit and my AC works great again.

    Mr. Holland's Heating and Air
Scheduled my Preferred Customer annual fall checkup for heating unit a few weeks ago. They cancelled at 8:30 in the morning for a 10:00 appointment. Rescheduled for an appointment between 1-3, they called and said it would be more like 3, then called at 3 to say it would be more like 3:45 to 4. I made plans to help somebody out with something at 4:30, so I had to cancel. Of course, they offered me a $25 discount card on parts, but I had to explain that I already had 3 of these cards, because they cancelled 3 of my last 4 appointments! What they don't seem to understand is that during the last few weeks, I took 12 hours of vacation to be at home for my service and they can't be! I called them to find out what the problem was, look out my window, and one of their trucks is in my next door neighbors driveway! To add insult to injury, the service rep claims that I am getting great value for the Preferred Customer Plan I am in! I have news for you, it is of NO VALUE if you aren't here when I am, and I am out the rest of my $250 annual fee, have burned 12 hours of vacation, and STILL have to pay another company to come in and perform my tune-up. If this is how they treat their preferred customers, I can't imagine how they treat first timers. Just awful.

    Stramowski Heating Inc
They guy was top notch. They did a full tune up and was only here for 20 minutes. I watched him, and he did things that previous heating contractors did not do. They are definitely one of the top companies in the area. I would say they are in the top 5. I didn't have sticker shock.

Workers arrived exactly on time (8am); entire job took about 5 hours. Workers ran tests with upstairs thermostat; all checked out to everyone's satisfaction. Two rebates were available: office manager submitted both claims--we didn't have to do any of the paperwork. Owner and office manager were very helpful and prompt with arranging financing with a good rate. Again--not much work to do on our end! This installation was a planned appointment. Our previous furnace was 29 years old and we hated to gamble that it would make it through the next winter.

Excellent job, I called around and Kettle Moraine was the only one that came out immediately. Their estimate was in line with other vendors. Work was performed the next day by a professional and polite crew. permits were handled by Kettle Moraine and inspection went flawless.

    Rozga Plumbing & Heating Corp.
Chris S. called on his way out and was very polite. He was also one of the guys who replace the furnace and AC last year so I remembered him. He did the checks on the AC and replaced the filter and when he was done with that, he went out to the detached garage and worked on that furnace. We had noticed a gas leak and had shut off the gas line to that furnace. He turned it on and found the leak. He did not have to replace any part but just needed to tighten up a connection. He tested all the connections for additional leaks just to be sure and ran the furnace for a while to make sure everything was good to go.
Besides being polite, Chris is also very neat and clean. He put booties on every time he came in the house. Thanks!

    Tri Town Heating & AC
In 2015, we had four companies come out to estimate replacement of our 23 year old furnace and air conditioner. At that time we decided to wait one more year. In 2016, we decided it was time to replace the the furnace and A/C. We decided to asked Tri-Town Heating and A/C back since we liked what we heard as well as three other heating and A/C companies that we did not have come out in 2015. Craig from Tri-Town came out to quote. It was not a pressure sale talk. He was professional, informative, and friendly. We felt very comfortable going with Tri-Town and they had a very competitive quote. The whole process was positive. The estimate, the scheduling, the installation. Rick and Ed performed a great installation.. Professional and friendly. They included us in any decisions that needed to be made during the process. They were great. They also gave us instructions on how to operate the equipment. They cleaned up 100% . I would not have know they were there. All is all a very positive experience. The city inspector gave it a "job well done" and included the comment they they always do great work. I would use them again
