Josh was on time and worked efficiently. He took time to secure the dangly mess of tubes and pipes we had. He explained how to care for the softener and how to prevent ending up with a solid chunk of salt. He was very easy to talk to and made me comfortable asking questions about our new appliance. I would recommend him to my friends and family and have him install future appliances in our house down the road.

    Century EcoWater Systems
This company was excellent. We moved into a house that already had this system installed. I called the company and they had a serviceman out here the same day to do maintenance and get it programmed to fit our family. They also filled the softener with salt at no charge.
I have since then called to ask a couple of questions and the answers are always rapid and accurate. This week I had another question about the system so somebody stopped by within a couple of hours.
Great service. Good prices. They sell a high quality salt at a little above the other brands in the hardware stores, but the company has a frequent buyer program so that every 10th bag is free.

Randy did an excellent job. He arrived exactly on time and took good care of my house while he was there. His plumbing work was 'pretty' (if you can say that about plumbing work). He took great care to do the job well. He also cleaned up the area after he was finished. I will use him again and have already scheduled more work to be done.

    Whipple Plumbing
Had a leak under the faucet in full bath, Mr. Whipple changed out the cold water valve that was leaking and checked the hot water valve and replaced that as well since it was getting worn and probably would have started leaking in the near future.  This way it eliminated 2 service calls.
Master bath shower drain had been leaking for quite sometime w/o us knowing until noticed ceiling in basement family room had a stain and the drywall was starting to crumble.  We opened up the ceiling to find the leak so when plumber came over to fix it they had easy access to it.  The drain was loose & the water was going down the drain as well as around it which caused the leaking into the ceiling.  Mr. Whipple cleaned off the drain, retightened, re-putty & caulked it to eliminate future leaks.
Mr. Whipple was pleasant on the phone when I called & spoke with him. He was here when he said he was going to be.  He explained what he did on both plumbing problems and very nice to talk with.  I was very pleased with the price of his services, felt he was very reasonable and very pleased with the whole experience with Mr. Whipple.

Great job. Very nice office person. Called and told them my problem. They called back next day and said they were on the way. They let themselves in and out. I didn't have to be there. Great company. They've always taken care of me when I've called.

    Lostetter Plumbing
After a bad storm in Monroe, I came home to find my water heater completely dead. No flashing light on the 10 year old 40 gallon unit. No hot water, and no power vent exhaust fan action. I called the Rheem Water heater home help telephone number and was told by the phone technician that my gas controller needed to be replaced. I called the plumber whose sticker was on the side of the tank and was told after he came out and charged me $65 for a service call that I had to replace the entire water heater for $1,400. I then tried a second plumber to get a second opinion and a second quote. I called Bob Lostetter from Lostetter Plumbing and was told that he could order out the gas controller as suggested by Rheem. He then quoted me a price for parts and labor. The day after he ordered the part he brought it over at 7PM in the evening and installed it. I now have hot water and the controller light flashes normally. I did not require a complete replacement water heater as suggested by the first plumber. Two telephone numbers to know in Monroe, WI: Rheem 1-800-432-8373 and Lostetter Plumbing 608-325-9730. Payment was due upon installation.

    Whipple Plumbing
Arrived again on time & found a beautiful fixture at a decent price. He installed it and ended up being less than the $250-300 estimate we agreed to. A few days later discovered a light drip under the sink & called Whipple to report it. He came over right away (15-20min) and fixed the problem @ no charge. Been great since! Definitely keeping Whipple Plumbing as our GO TO plumber for any other future Plumbing needs.

    Erickson Plumbing & Heating Inc
I requested an estimate to either replace a bathroom faucet or fix our existing leaking one. I was under the assumption they would call before they came...NOPE! Right when my kids and I were about to leave the house they showed up. A little annoyed, but the guy was nice and offered to come back- but I figured he was already here. He was very nice and estimated $100 to fix our existing (couldn't replace due to old sink). New to the plumbing field,I wanted to discuss possibilities with my husband first, so said I would call and request a SCHEDULED appointment after I talk it over with my husband....

A few hours later I called and left a message on their machine to have someone call me back to schedule the service repair (10/12- on a Friday). Well, I finally got sick of waiting today (10/16- Thursday) and called. This is my biggest issue with Erickson's. The lady I spoke to was obviously elderly, and claimed they no longer had my information card (really?! It was just last week!), and after re-giving all my information and giving detailed information of our needs- said she could get someone out sometime today or tomorrow and would have them call when on their way, then hung up. Wow! Doesn't anybody believe in SCHEDULING anymore? I waited maybe 20 minutes and decided to just cancel our "appointment" and find a more professional plumber on Angie's List. Wish I would've just done that from the beginning! A few hours later the "New" Plumber came and gave us GOOD news (faucet CAN be replaced!) and labor prices are LESS. They are coming back TOMORROW to do it!

    Dennis G Bartow
We found out he had 2 or 3 high school kids on our roof which we weren’t aware of. We had to pay these high school kids out of our own pockets when he should have taken care of this. He never talked to us about hiring these kids either. My husband would get off work by 5 or 5:30 in the afternoon. We never knew what Dennis was doing. He would say he got to our house at 7am, but we later found out from our neighbors that he wasn’t showing up until after 10 or 11 each day. We were paying him $20 an hour for this. I told him the end of June would be his last week because that was the end of our equity line. Our first night in this new house was in June. I found out while I was here that he was never here half the time. My husband gave him gas money to drive to hardware stores, but instead what Dennis would do is pick his wife up and stay gone the whole day. Around Labor Day weekend we got a letter in the mail from Dennis telling us we still owed him over $2,000.00 when really we paid him in full when we gave him his notice. I was so upset by this. I had been quiet for too long so I called and left a message for Dennis asking him to call me as soon as possible. I said that I wanted his wife Connie on the phone also. He didn’t call us back until after Labor Day and purposely when he knew my husband was at work. I laid into him for literally 45 minutes. I told him time and again if he can’t do this work, don’t do it, but he wanted to.
