Electrician reviews in Monroe

I had spoken to the electrician whom I wanted for the job previously. The 'project manager' assigned that electrician to my job and all the wiring was done in a quality manner. The problem arose when the company sent 3 electricians at $65 per hour to my house when I only had enough work for 1 electrician. He would have needed help when fishing the wire for the new lighting and some help hanging the ceiling fans; however, I was the one who was going to help. I told them I did not have enough work for the 3 of them to do but yet I received invoicing for all of them.
I appreciate that the company didn't have enough business elsewhere (I overheard one worker say there was no other jobsite he could go to); however, I should not have to shoulder their payroll. We found menial things for the workers to do, but much time was wasted making my bill about double what it should have been.
On a good note, the project manager was receptive to my complaint. I thought I might get a 'deal with it' type of response, but I did not. He listened, though not much was done to fix the problem. They took 4 hours off the bill, which was considerate; about 10 more would have been more accurate.

We found out he had 2 or 3 high school kids on our roof which we weren’t aware of. We had to pay these high school kids out of our own pockets when he should have taken care of this. He never talked to us about hiring these kids either. My husband would get off work by 5 or 5:30 in the afternoon. We never knew what Dennis was doing. He would say he got to our house at 7am, but we later found out from our neighbors that he wasn’t showing up until after 10 or 11 each day. We were paying him $20 an hour for this. I told him the end of June would be his last week because that was the end of our equity line. Our first night in this new house was in June. I found out while I was here that he was never here half the time. My husband gave him gas money to drive to hardware stores, but instead what Dennis would do is pick his wife up and stay gone the whole day. Around Labor Day weekend we got a letter in the mail from Dennis telling us we still owed him over $2,000.00 when really we paid him in full when we gave him his notice. I was so upset by this. I had been quiet for too long so I called and left a message for Dennis asking him to call me as soon as possible. I said that I wanted his wife Connie on the phone also. He didn’t call us back until after Labor Day and purposely when he knew my husband was at work. I laid into him for literally 45 minutes. I told him time and again if he can’t do this work, don’t do it, but he wanted to.
