The estimate was quoted for about 24 hours work, finished in less than 18 hours, but still was charged for 24 hours. Out of all the jobs done, the laundry room sink was leaky, my new laundry room under board was all soaked and almost ruined. The new bathroom shower was leaking too. One positive thing was that they did honor their warranty and came fixed them.

Avid plumbing did an amazing job. We submitted an online request late Sunday night when we came home to find our water heater not working. I received a call right away Monday morning and was told someone could come out same day to check it out. The serviceman came within the window I had received, after texting me when he was on his way. After a short inspection, I was given a clear report an options, cost of replacing a part vs replacing the entire water heater. We opted for replacing the water heater as it was 21 years old, and they were able to do this same day as well. Another serviceman dropped off the new unit within 15 minutes and it was installed less than an hour later. He also checked out our shower to make sure that wasn't causing additional temperature problems and replaced a part there at no additional cost to the original quote. Avid plumbing does great, reliable work. They are extremely responsive, easy to work with, and explain everything very well including plain and simple pricing, no surprises. They also replaced our garbage disposal two years ago with the same great experience - happy to recommend their services.

This was our first experience with Avid Plumbing and we loved it! We had a 40-year old laundry room tub and faucet that had ongoing drip problems so we decided it was time to replace the faucet. It was a little more challenging than expected but Jason fashioned an adapter piece and everything works perfectly and looks great. He was careful to explain all our options and listened to my concerns carefully. Very pleased with the work and the experience as a whole. Avid's business office was a pleasure to work with as well.

I went to basement and found water coming up in the floor drain. I called them and it was about 1/2 hour later they arrived. They went to work right away. In about 1 hour they cleaned the sewer and it has been working good.

Overall well. Luke is very responsive, Explains project and reasons for pre-existing plumbing issues, worked well with my schedule, and offers some options. I had some minor issues and questions with part of the tub fit which they returned to address the next morning at 730 am. I was a little overwhelmed by the work left for me after they replaced everything as far as drywall and flooring repairs but that is what happens in a 50s ranch The only minor issue I had was the cleanup I had to do in my basement. The main work area was fairly clean but Id suggest some extra shop vac time. There was a lot of dust, plaster pieces and some mud residue that was left on my basement storage items. I would have at least covered them with a sheet or moved them had I known. Long story short. Kegonsa uses good products and the actual plumbing work looks great. They actually were ahead of schedule for my repair. I would recommend them and may use them in the future. Luke explains things very well and offered a few options for our situation.

Lucas and his apprentice arrived early. We were so happy to see them. They proceeded to shut off the water and got right to the problems. They replaced the the faucet and made sure everything was working and took care of all leaking problems. They finished quickly and made sure everything was clean. We were charged a very reasonable price. They performed exceptional service. I have recommended them to several friends and family members.

We had an energy audit and were told that our water heater, which was only four years old, was unsafe. That carbon monoxide was backdrafting into the house and that we had to replace it with a power-vented water heater before we could start sealing up and insulating. We got several quotes, Avid was the most responsive and had the best estimate on the work. Brian came out and was skeptical about the backdrafting. He said there should be other signs (melting of plastic brackets, etc.) and there weren't. He suggested that we test to see if the carbon monoxide was really a problem for $150 instead of or at least before replacing the entire unit. Turns out he was right. No backdrafting. Avid could have just kept quiet, replaced it all, and charged us the $2000, but instead, they saved us a bunch of money we can use to make our house more energy efficient. We will never use another plumber. Avid now has a customer for life.

Kegonsa Plumbing was the only company to call about my service request on Angie's List. They were also the only company that could come out today to start and complete the job. They arrived when they said they would and completed the work very promptly. I will be calling them for any future plumbing needs.

It started off well but the workmanship was poor and I would not hire them again. I had leaking hot water heater and called a couple companies, my usual companies could not come until following week. however Avid could come next day which I appreciated. (did not want disaster over weekend which would then become emergency). They arrived on time (two guys came, Jason and Dennis). They quickly "fixed" the leaking hot water heater (which really was not fixed I later learned). They looked at leaking toilet, replaced piece leading to turn off handle, but it still leaked. They said it was the fill valve, so they got one out of their truck that was "Universal". But after trying some things, they said it was too tall for toilet, which is Mansfield so some sort of Menard's off-brand toilet. They said I would need to special-order the part for this specific toilet. Next they looked at tub handle but could not get it to go on. It was still functional by turning without handle, but would have been nice to have handle. It had stripped screw part or something. They were on their way to next appointment. I could not have leaking toilet and the special order part would not be available for a week because of shipping time. After discussing with my usual handyman over phone, we decided best to just replace the entire toilet. At the end of his very busy day he said he would come replace toilet at 5:30pm. I went to Home Depot and bought the Kohl's water-saving toilet, had it loaded in vehicle and met him. He looked at current toilet, went to his vehicle and got the Universal fill valve. It is adjustable for height !!! OMG . . . the AVID plumbers did not know this ??????? Handyman was able to replace it !! Next I showed him water heater and . . . . it was STILL leaking !! Yes the leak was less, but it was leaking from the turn off valve, the same one the plumbers fixed. Now this particular issue may be because the heater was just old . . . but . . .. now i wonder. The next thing my handyman did was get the tub faucet handle put on. He did a work-around by removing this washer thing, so it is not ideal, but hey it works. Next day, I called Avid Plumbing (talked to Brian) to explain all this, in particular mentioning the fact that Universal Fill Valves are adjustable for height. He said "he just goes by what his guys tell him". Wow, what customer service - NOT ! He could not transfer me fast enough to the lady who takes payment information, no discount either. All this caused me to have to drive 28 miles roundtrip to Home Depot to pickup and then return a toilet, etc. I also explained hot water heating still leaking and my handyman got the tub handle on. I will never use this company again,
