  • I hired American Foundation Specialists in May for to repair my foundation in June; they seemed OK through the initial sales process but it turned out to be a terrible experience once they started the work. They did not call the Wisconsin diggers hotline to mark my incoming gas line and when I asked them about it two days before the job they said they didn't need to because they know what they are doing. I asked the crew chief when they got on site on 06/12/2018 and he was rude. I had to call them back 3 times to install my sump pump correctly, prior two employees they had do it installed it too high so my drain tile system and croc would have overflowed; Lyle (their sales guy had to do it himself on the third call). I also had ordered an egress cover for my window from them and had to keep following up for over 7 weeks (Lyle's standard answer was we're expecting a shipment in the next 5-10 days) so I finally gave up and ordered in on Lowe's at $75 cheaper than they were offering. They said they wouldn't install it if I didn't buy it through them but couldn't give me a reliable date if their lives depended on it. Today (08/17/2018) we got our first rainfall and the egress window is leaking pretty bad (see photos). I sent them the pictures and asked for someone to come out and assess the issue and they had Lyle call me; he said they were busy and he thought they may be able to come out next Friday 08/24/2018 but couldn't guarantee a time so I needed to be flexible. Thankfully I have not yet finished the room and saw the issue otherwise I would have noticed years down the line after mold would get through the wall. After paying $11,000 they can't confirm a time and I need to be flexible...terrible customer service experience. I would absolutely not recommend them to anyone, they want to get your business and once they have you they treat you like they are doing you a favor. I have no commitment from them on a timeline to fix my issue so will work with city inspectors and potentially another company to see what my options are.

  • I contacted this company and Mary answered the phone, even though it was before their official start time. She was very helpful in trying to schedule a plumber to come to our house to diagnose the issue with the water heater. She called back and asked me to confirm if any issues with the electrical connection. I checked and found out there was an issue with the outlet for the water heater which was able to be fixed. I thought it was very nice of Mary to ask that initial question, since it resolved the issue without the service call. I will definitely reach out to this company if any future issues!

  • I purchased the new water heater and put it in the basement by the old one. All the plumber had to do was disconnect the old one and replace with the new one I provided. I also took care of the removal of the old unit. They charged me 2 3/4 hours of labor to the tune of $549.15 to swap the water heaters. When I called to see what the problem was and see if they would be willing to possibly adjust the price some I was informed that 3 hours is a routine time for that job. That is poor in my book. I went with them in the first place because they had the most reviews on Angies List and I thought that they were reputable and as good as the next guy. Not only did they over charge me, the plumber left a mess on my freshly painted floor. He didn't even bother to sweep up after himself. I am very disappointed with Rozga and can not recommend them.

  • I called to get an estimate on having repairs to my hot water heater. I spoke with Mary and explained my water heater problem. Mary came off as dismissive immediately declining to offer an appointment . I was told the company was short on this day although I never requested an appointment on the the day of the call. Mary also failed to offer an appointment for later in the week or next week, therefore I asked for an appointment on later date. Mary said “we’re all booked up” and did not offer any alternative suggestions. For some reason she just seemed as if she was interested in my business. It felt personal. I was so surprised by this poor customer service especially because this company is an Angie’s list member. I will never understand how a person could be so rude and dismissive to a customer seeking professional services. I’m would not recommend this company! I’ve seen people treat animals with more respect and dignity!

  • Excellent and responsive from start to finish. Brad called me promptly to provide a quote and was very flexiple in scheduling the installation. I shopped around for several quotes and Thurow had the best price and quality.

  • The floater, rather than the complete pump was broken. The service tech showed me how to check a pump with a sealed crock. He opened the crock, completed the replacement, and resealed the crock. Work was done quickly at a very reasonable price. Also, there is a coupon for new customers! Clean up was great. I would definitely hire these folks again!

  • I called and they fixed a problem simply. It was a burst pipe from not turning the water off during winter. We had no idea! We thought we had foundation issues with water. This was less then $300 and it works perfectly. He explained other issues with why it probably happened and fixed them without fuss.. I feel they were very reasonably priced, friendly and honest!

  • Fantastic -- great customer experience. Their price was fair, especially considering the complicated work involved, and they didn't charge for extra time. They had the new unit drop shipped to our house. They then came to install it at a mutually agreed time. It was a father/son team, and they were knowledgeable, professional and personable. They were helpful, positive and friendly and extremely neat and tidy. Clearly willing to "go the extra mile."

  • Excellent - responsive and professional from the first call. Not only completed the items requested but identified other parts in the toilets that were old/worn out. He kept me informed of his process and gave me the option to have him replace parts while he was already working on them. I would definitely hire again in the future.

  • Jim was very responsive and talked us through various options, e.g. brands, warranties, availability, etc. Was very professional and courteous throughout the process and executed the replacement cleanly. Will see how well things hold up but after one day, so far so good. He also showed care in moving the new water heater into the house and removing the old one - was especially conscious to not dirty our light colored carpeting. He was also very cost effective when compared to other area plumbing options.
