    I chose Best Buy because of their prices, because of my positive expriences purchases photo and computer items from them, and because I am a Reward Zone member, The sales person was very friendly, professional, and helpful. At the time, I felt really pleased with the transaction. I had to pay an extra $140 for installation, and she scheduled a day for installation, a week and a half later (that was the first available  appointment), and told me I would get a call the day before with a 2 hour time frame. I told her that I work in the mornings and would prefer an afternoon appointment, and she made a note of that.
    Turns out, BB subcontracts out the installation.
    I called Best Buy to complain. Their resolution was to send me a $50 gift card.
    If I had known that Best Buy would contract out to a company that made the whole situation so difficult, I would have arranged to hire a  company of my choosing to install the dishwasher rather than pay Best Buy and IMI to give me the runaround for three weeks. In the future, I will likely consider one of the many other options I have for appliance purchases.

    January 21 - purchased dishwasher - on backorder
    February 6 - scheduled to be delivered and installed - installer would not even try to install
    February 9 - installer calls to confirm installation for next morning
    February 10 -  installer did not show up - turns out original installer cancelled order
    February 11 - manager in store - basically not her fault or her problem and not taking responsibility for installation
    February 13 - no dishwasher

    Today - never ever purchase from Sears appliance again.

    Picked out cheap carpet in store and arranged for measure. They did not quote areas separately like I asked until I explained what I wanted several times and waited on the phone while they recalculated. I did like that they sent me the quotes by email. We did not do the work because we decided to focus our budget on wood floors for our kitchen.

    It was a complete disaster. We placed the order on October 16th so that we could have them in time for Thanksgiving. First the salesman ordered a Sub-Zero unit which we specifically told him we did not want. It has a ice making dispenser which is totally inferior in design. Unfortunately we did not realize it until the unit was fitted in, with difficulty, into the previous opening and couldn't be removed. It also did not have the correct grill for the compressors. A new one was ordered. It came in but was totally incorrect. We did not have the unit installation complete for Thanksgiving or Christmas. There is still a gaping hole in the wall on January 9th. The only good part is that the outside installer who they use is Paul Kurtz and he was absolutely outstanding under very adverse circumstances.

    Overall it went well. We had a minor issue that we were able to resolve over the phone. After purchasing a refrigerator, we re-measured the space at home and decided we bought the wrong model. We called and the department manager was able to swith our purchase with one on display. I think the price was fair, the delivery was as promised. My only issue as noted in the "B" punctuality score was we had a hard time getting someone in the department on the phone to agree to switch our purchased refrigerator with one that would fit in our kitchen.

    WHEN IT ARRIVED IT HAD A DENT IN IT. THE COMPANY AGREED TO REPLACE IT, BUT THIS WAS THE LAST ONE OF THAT KIND. I HAD TO BUY A NEW REFRIGERATOR AT AN ADDITIONAL COST TO ME. WHEN IT ARRIVED THE DOOR SEALS WERE SMASHED AND THE DOORS WOULD NOT CLOSE. THREE WEEKS LATER, I HAVE A NEW REFRIGERATOR, NOT THE ONE I HAD ORIGINALLY WANTED.
