ACritter Gitters IncWe had two wasp nests and they were getting into our house because of a tuckpointing issue. We tried a bigger company and they blew us off because it was a small job. Then we called Critter Gitters and they were immediately responsive. They came out the same day and took care of the problem, and they did it for half the price the other guys quoted us for. ACritter Catchers Pest ControlI spoke with Dante and Sam. Both very honest with me (and I did my research first regarding average pricing). Free inspection. Honest about findings. Preventative treatment only needed at this time. Not telling me I needed more frequently than I assumed, but even less often. I was actually all set up for Bantzner to come and do treatment, but they made human error and rescheduled without notifying me. My house was literally all ready for treatment because of Bantzner appointment, so when Sam came to inspect, he was also able to treat immediately. In my opinion, Smaller businesses just hear you better and take better care of you. I would recommend to my best friends and to my family. Thank you guys for giving me peace of mind!!!!!- Jennifer M.

ADoug and his crew did excellent job! Words cannot express the appreciation for his service. Its not just the service that's important its the customer service. Having to deal with bed bugs is a time consuming, life derailing & stressful event. This is a time when a calm and professional voice is needed and Doug gets 6 out of 5 stars for that. This becomes even more important with a rental property where customer service should be a the forefront of any investor or property mangers list. My journey started with bed bugs being found in one unit. That lead to many hours of research, videos and lots of conflicting information. Ultimately heat treatment was decided upon from a service (not Affordable Bed Bug Exterminators). About a week later active bed bugs were found in that same unit. The entire property was then searched with a dog and they found bugs in two additional units. I'll spare the details other than the service was rather rude to the tenants and was always concerned about how much time they were spending at the property. One unit had some clutter and they refused to guarantee the work until most of the item were discarded. That experience lead me to Doug at Affordable Bed Bug Exterminators. Doug took the time to walk me through the process. His staff also did this at the property calming and assuring the residents. Honestly, all the calming and reassuring will not matter unless there are results and those results were spectacular! Doug has a newer chemical called Aprehend that required very little prep work from the tenants and was effective. Please look Aprehend product up on-line for details. In essence, the bed bugs come into contact with Aprehend and become infected. They then bring this back and infect the nest. This product can get to the bugs where heat may not. The proof is in the results and after only one treatment there have been no bugs for over 5 months now.

AMy experience started out talking with Stacey from Eco Tec who is very professional. She worked with me through the estimating process wherein she provided a quote that kicked the pants off a few others that I had received. Further however, she understands the foam application process, R-values, process that the installers follow and most of all, expectations for the customer (I am a homeowner, not a builder/GC). Then came the installation. The crew showed up in a timely fashion and were completely professional. I knew that closed cell foam installation was a messy business and Stacey explained the process that the installers would follow to protect the surrounding areas from overspray. Well, I was impressed by the preparation work that they did as they covered everything from top to bottom including miscellaneous construction materials, tools and the entire floor. When the foam application was complete, they trimmed all excess from the stud bays, gathered up all spoils and removed everything including the protective coverings. When the crew left our house, there was little evidence that they had been here aside from the insulation in our walls. I was speechless. So far, of all the contractors that I've dealt with during my remodel, Eco Tec is within the top decile. As an engineer that works in construction, I have come to expect good service from the contractors that I hire. Unfortunately, I have had a lot of less than perfect experiences with other installers that I've hired. Eco Tec is easily at the top of my list. From estimate to execution, this has been a simply wonderful experience. I highly recommend them.

AWe hired BK Construction based on a friend's referral. The quote and job were within our budget. The kitchen looks great. The cabinets were custom made. The granite countertops are beautiful. The communication between B, the installers, and the warehouse were good. Once we found a granite slab with the right dimensions and color, the installation was quick and professional. They removed the chimney, tore off the plaster down to the studs, repaired and refinished the floor, updated the electrical and plumbing widened the door to the bedroom hallway. They also replaced the furnaces and water heaters for the upstair's and downstair's units of our duplex. This included re-venting all 4 units due to the chimney tear down. For the existing bathroom, they did a complete tear down to the studs, including removing a cast iron tub. They updated the plumbing and electrical, added a vent and fan, and built a beautiful walk in shower. The only problem was getting the floor tile. That was caused by low supply at the warehouse we ordered from and bad weather. Bahram is always available either in person, phone, or text. He's professional and willing to work with the homeowner. He's not afraid to ask for clarification or make a suggestion. We will use this company again for our addition.

BJust okay. Very responsive in coming out to give me a quote, but I didn't hear from them after the job was sold - I had to call their office three days later to find out when they were coming. I then got a text from the salesman saying they'd be out at the end of the following week, much later than I'd wanted them there since the birds had begun nesting in the soffit again. Also expensive - about $500 for a job that took literally 15 minutes - about $80 of that was for the plastic cap they put over the soffit. Not a lot of companies do birds, though, so I went with this one.
