They also repaired the fireboxes in two fireplaces, added a damper and fixed some chimney tuckpointing. Art was very responsive and his team was very professional. You can’t even tell there was a large hole in the block and the crack that ran from the ceiling to the middle of the wall was repaired perfectly. One of their tasks was to create an opening in the brick exterior of our house for a doorway out to our patio. Their quality of work and attention to detail is impeccable. The doorway out to our patio looks like it was an original part of our home (built in 1930). We also had very intricate tuck work with the brick and stone on the front of our home that needed repair. They returned it to its original condition. It turned out beautiful. We’ll continue to call Art when his services are needed. We have and will continue to recommend him and his guys.- Nicholas K.

He was able to send Sergio out to do the work one day after I signed the contract. Both Curt and Sergio were professional and knowledgeable. AELITE CHIMNEYAfter obtaining several estimates, a couple telling us we needed to rebuild the entire chimney for about 3x the price quoted to repair, and a few not getting back to us to answer subsequent questions-- we went with Elite. They were friendly and professional from the start and always responded back to questions right away. Their masons did a great job repairing and all were punctual and reliable. Even referred to my neighbor on the spot for some chimney work they need done. We will most likely schedule them to clean our chimney from now on too.- Liza K.

AEstimate was given one day after I called. It was a fair price and they did not try to give me a load of BS about the type and extent of repairs needed like another company did. Job was done well and to my satisfaction. The whole team communicated well with each other and we all made certain nothing was missed. Please note; I am a single, female senior citizen. This is the 3rd home I've owned and repaired myself. I really do appreciate finding honest, reliable workmen who do not take me for a sap with an open wallet.

FThis company will tell you the tube inside your fireplace's masonry needs to be replaced as a result of a chimney fire, and doesn't meet code, when it isn't true. How can you inspect with all your fancy cameras before sweeping away the soot? It is a money grab. Zero integrity. We got a second opinion elsewhere and I'm glad we followed our gut. Tried to take advantage of us by charging thousands of dollars for a $250 job. Had to call repeatedly just to get a quote after they came over, too. Not to mention, I called them months before I needed my chimney swept, prior to a small family gathering we were hosting, knowing this is any sweep's busy season, and they couldn't get us in for a month and a half.

AJBS did a wonderful job! Every day we have a neighbor stop by to ask who did our new cement driveway. Our garage floor needed to be replaced for YEARS since it was sinking in the middle and we have always wanted to change the driveway from asphalt to cement and expand the walkway on each side. We submitted a request on Angie's List for quotes and JBS responded within an hour and came out that week to give us a quote. They removed the old garage floor and asphalt driveway in a day, along with framing in where the cement would go the following the day. The next day, another team came out and poured the cement like a "checker board". It looks amazing. If I could attach pictures to this, I would! We are planning our next cement project in the back yard with them!

AWhen the previous owner had a lower level fireplace installed the company that did the work did not patch around the hole they had to cut in the exterior wall. Scott came out to patch the rather large hole that was around the fireplace exhaust pipe. They showed up on time and preformed all of the work they said they would do. I would use them in the future for any other masonry work.
