Mr Handyman of Waukesha & North Milwaukee County
slight scheduling issue other than that work man was extremely polite and work performed was satisfactory. front door seems ready for winter weather. Job involved removing door, sinking door hinges deeper and evenly, striping one side of door casing and installing a new door sweep.

    SAW Contracting
GREAT! I've hired Scott Wozny (owner) previously and would recommend him without hesitation. This time he washed, primed & painted my over 100 year old 3-story farm house & replaced the deck flooring, stairs & railing outside. Inside he gutted 3 plaster & lath rooms, did re-framing, insulated, added drywall, painted, added woodwork, laid waterproof vinyl flooring and porcelain tile, added backsplash in my kitchen AND was instrumental in recommending other small contracting companies for jobs that he did not do: electrical, plumbing, countertops, patio replacement, etc.

    Dane's Quality Craftsmanship, LLC
It went very well. Dan came out and reviewed the job. He sent a written proposal, detailing expected cost and additional costs if additional work beyond what could be seen on the surface was required. He initially said it could be two or three months until he could get to it as he took customers on a first come, first served basis and was booked through the end of the year. However, he elected to work some weekends and got us in much sooner than expected. Price was a little high, but, 1) it was exactly as quoted, so, no surprise, and, 2) given that we could not even get other contractors to look at the job we absolutely did not care. We would hire Dane Quality Craftsmanship/Dan again in a heartbeat.

    Hawthorne Remodeling LLC
Jeff is reliable. He communicates well. He calls if he is delayed. He shows up on the agreed time. Works very hard until the task is completed to your satisfaction. Jeff is honest and someone you feel safe with in your home. He does excellent work.

    Elite Exteriors LLC
The entire process of removing our old patio door and installing the new one went very smooth. They arrived on time and the quality of work is second to none. The new patio door makes the house look so much better. I would highly recommend this company to any looking for a new patio door.

    Weather Tight Corporation

    1) Sales stated a price, options for payment and time line.

    2) Time line was close and the company kept me updated (3 months).

    3) Doors arrived at Weather Tight on time and they called and made arrangements to install with in a week.

    4) The person that installed the doors was pleasant and a professional. The job went well and things were clean when he was done.

    5) We had one minor problem with matched locks in the doors but this was addressed and corrected in two weeks. Not a problem.

    6) FYI: The installation was a complete replacement of door and frame.

    7) Weather Tight was in contact with me each time a step was to be done or completed. They believe in taking care ofthe customer to make sure they are satisfied.

    The Install Group Inc
They were great.  The windows are awesome and super quiet and the staff that installed them were very professional.  We absolutely love the job they did.  We are now having them quote us on some windows for our rental properties and will purchase them from the Install Group.  Would highly recommend them to friends and family and have!

    Anytime Garage Doors

Sent an email form on Sunday 10/19/14 and they responded on Monday 10/20/14 and made an appointment for later in the day Was called later in the day to let me they were coming and came within the time frame they gave me.

He gave me two alternatives to solve the problem and I chose to have a new door. I was lucky and they were able to install the door the next day 10/21/14. The door looks great and I am very happy with the service they gave me.

    I certainly would recommend them.

    RICH In All Trades
    I have three issues.
    1)  When the new garage frame was installed, there was a gap between the siding, and the frame.  Rich applied a dark reddish-brown caulk in this gap.  Our house is a very light beige.  His comments about the color? -- we could just "paint over it".
Not only was the color a poor choice, but the caulk is a mess!  It's uneven, and anything but smooth.  The same mess occurred around the service doors that he installed.  Why create work for me?
I tried painting over it.  It was like trying to paint a straight line on a gravel road.  Impossible.  We also have a concrete ledge around the area he worked-and he left gobs of caulk on both ledges, and on the sidewalk.  What a mess!
    2)  Rich was also going to replace some screens on an enclosed porch.  On the day the work was scheduled, it rained.  We agreed he would do the work on a "good weather day," in the next two weeks.  He didn't return and he didn't call to schedule a day to finish the work.  Approximately a month later, we called him.   He said he was starting a new job that involved some significant remodeling, and it would be awhile before he could get back to us.  He was aware the job was important to us, due to an upcoming family reunion at the house.  Timing was important.  However, a more lucrative job came along, so our job fell to the bottom of his list.  That was unacceptable, and we told him so.  We were unable to find someone else to do the work before the reunion date.
    3)  One vertical board that Rich installed on the garage opening has bowed out.  It's another fix-we can't leave it sticking out.

This entire experience was disappointing and frustrating.  One of the reasons I joined Angie's List was to avoid this!!

    Stack's Services
Greg was very easy to work with.  He answered calls or emails very quickly and was willing to work with us when we were initially less than thrilled with the results.  Ultimately, we would be happy to use him again.
