AEmpire Home RemodelingI had windows install by Empire Home and Remodeling Company. The contractor was very friendly, professional and helpful. They can in and put a runner on my floors to protect it. I didn’t want my floors damage with all of the movement inside my home. I was happy to see they had it available. Once the installation was completed the contractor did a great job cleaning inside and outside my home. AJBS ConstructionJBS did a wonderful job! Every day we have a neighbor stop by to ask who did our new cement driveway. Our garage floor needed to be replaced for YEARS since it was sinking in the middle and we have always wanted to change the driveway from asphalt to cement and expand the walkway on each side. We submitted a request on Angie's List for quotes and JBS responded within an hour and came out that week to give us a quote. They removed the old garage floor and asphalt driveway in a day, along with framing in where the cement would go the following the day. The next day, another team came out and poured the cement like a "checker board". It looks amazing. If I could attach pictures to this, I would! We are planning our next cement project in the back yard with them!- Walt P.

APremier Asset Management and MaintenanceExcellent Job. 2nd time I hired this company. Why, because of their craftmanship and attitude. I don't hire them for little jobs, but ones that take days to complete. I had a difficult (near impossible garage door (the one you walk through) that just wasn't closing right, and they said it needed replacing, but also found a rotted stoop. Replaced the frame and stoop, caulked and cleaned the area and took away the old wood and frame. In my bathrooms, they cleaned the old caulk off my tub and floor and re-caulked, and caulked around a pipe in the wall. Fixed hand railings, door handles and mitigated a drainage problem and did some painting. Try them, and you will agree with me.- Eileen O.

The owner worked closely with us to get the patio design and placement just right and to solve a unique problem with the parking area. They do exceptional, professional work. AMendoza ConcreteI have been very impressed with Juan Mendoza Concrete and his crew. Our project was a two stage process. We needed Juan to come in and remove the concrete so we could replace a septic pipe, then he came back a week later to complete the job. His communication was prompt, his services were excellent and the price was right. We had 4 bids done for this job. While Juan wasn't the least expensive, he was very competitive. This was a referral from a friend which is as good as gold to me. I will gladly refer Juan Mendoza Concrete to all my friend and relatives because I know he will do a good job. AWhen the previous owner had a lower level fireplace installed the company that did the work did not patch around the hole they had to cut in the exterior wall. Scott came out to patch the rather large hole that was around the fireplace exhaust pipe. They showed up on time and preformed all of the work they said they would do. I would use them in the future for any other masonry work.

ADave and Danyl have done work for us before; they painted our house in 2015 and have been back a couple times to take care of the some siding issues (not related to the painting). We called this year due to some woodpecker damage to the cedar siding and trim boards on our chimney. They went past the "quick fix" to assure they understood and repaired the root cause. As they pulled damaged boards off, it was obvious the framing and OSB behind the siding were water-damaged and ant-infested, which is what was attracting the woodpecker. They spent several days removing siding, trim, framing, and OSB backing board until all of the damaged wood was gone. Then they installed all new wood, top to bottom, as least one-third of the width of the chimney. They also found out how the water was getting in there, a shortcut taken at original construction with flashing where the roof met the side of the chimney. They addressed that as well. It took them several days to painstakingly do the work and then repaint. They wrapped up today and you cannot even tell they were here, their work is that good!! They took no shortcuts, kept me updated on everything they were finding and doing, and worked long hours and weekend days to get the job done. They are very honest and extremely competent in all aspects of their work. We have used them before and will definitely use them again.

AWe have worked with the Thomas's many times over the years. They are honest and hard working and do a great job. Putting in 4 board oak fencing is hard work, heavy, and it needs to be precise. Pasture after pasture they have done great work for us. There is simply no better local company to work with.

AWe hired Burkham Built to rebuid our second floor porch after getting several estimates from other builders. The extra challenge was that we wanted a pergola over part of the area. Jeremy provided us with a great design consistent with the architecture and looking attractive from the street. We appreciated his approach to finding solutions that the pergola required, with an eye to design and a head for engineering. He and his crew were great to work with. The cost was reasonable, and we are happy with the results. We would be glad to engage Burkham Built again for future projects.
