  This is long but it's the truth!! Horrible!! I only wanted an estimate because I had two other plumbers coming to give estimates, wanted the explore my options. Came home from work and my daughter told me that he fixed it. I was surprised and called to find out why this was done without my consent, told him I had other plumbers also coming to give me an estimate, which he wanted to know who they were. Told him that it was none of his business and told him I never agreed to them fixing it. His reply was they always go and fix plumbing without the owners consent and just bill them. He asked what can we do to fix the situation and I agreed to pay for the part but not labor. The bill came in the mail a couple of weeks later and was over $300! They apparently not only fixed the tee but my kitchen sink, upstairs tub, and best of all the dishwasher that I never had! I am remodeling the upstairs bath and never would have needed any work done up there. I don't hear from the company for months and sometime before Christmas( this incident happened in early summer) late at night someone is ringing the doorbell and asking when I plan on paying the Maritime Plumbing bill. At this point I am furious, told him to take me to court since I never signed a contract for the repairs. Months go by getting bills sparingly. Now the company had put the bill into collections and that is where it will sit, I refused to pay for unauthorized and excess billing that I never requested to be done in the first place!! Do Not Hire this company!!

  Floor drain in basement was backing up. After trying to clear it from the inside, it was determined that the sewer lateral was clogged with and broken by tree roots near the sewer main in the street. Repair was completed the next day.

  It was phenomenal. They said they'd be here at 8 and they looked at the job beforehand. I had a toilet that was in the basement. It's a small job but there was a lot of work to do to plumb it. They figured that it would take 3 hours. At 3 hours, the guy came up and said it's just about done and he got about 10 minutes of work left and he will be getting in and out here at no time flat. The quote was $1,200 and the bill was $1,000 so that made even better. What stood out was the extreme amount of care that went into it.

  Great communication! They were aware of time issues and worked very hard to complete the job for me. They cleaned up very well after each days work; (with patching drywall, there was a lot of plaster dust - but there was no evidence of it left in the bathroom!) The plumber was very attentive to my needs and desires- offering practical solutions and advice. They laid carpet protector and did a really fine job!

  I called for service, and talked to a helpful receptionist, who dispatched a service tech. Response time was less than 1 hour! I also asked for an estimate for bathroom remodel. This was also handled very fast (the very next morning!) with the estimate completed and emailed to me within 2 hours. Both the service tech and the estimator were very friendly, courteous and offered helpful suggestions. I later stopped at the showroom to see models of showers. The receptionist was very courteous and helpful. I was very pleased with the service and people working for Maritime Plumbing.

  In our home for a maximum of 30 minutes, the plumber replaces the toilet handle and flush mechanism in a toilet that ran unless you shook the handle. This was CLEARLY stated when making the call to the office so I felt the plumber would have what was needed to repair the toilet with him. This was also NOT an emergency visit. While the toilet is fixed, the bill was $117 (including an hour of labor). I feel we were shafted on the price and would NOT recommend Lusier plumbing for this reason.

  Was disappointed they often made decisions on their own for some materials used. Simple example they removed a copper line for ice maker with a plastic line.

  The work is excellent.For the bathroom, the new stabs are in the correct location relative to where the new cabinets will be located. The work is neat and professional looking and there is no leak from the joints.
  The kitchen sink works very well and it fits the profile of the kitchen.

  We initially called about the clogged drain, which would have meant an appointment the next day, but after discovering the issue with the water shut off valve, Luisier immediately was in contact with the city to send someone to shutoff the water to the house so the valve could be repaired.
  They had to bring someone from another project to our house, so it was a few hours, but once the technician arrived, the work was done efficiently, and everything was cleaned up afterwards. The technician was very friendly and took time to explain the cause and solution of both issues. We will certainly use Luisier in the future.

  Showed up on time. When requesting a quote from them, get a few other quotes first. They will offer you a 10% discount if you agree on the same day of the estimate, and only while they are there.
  Coupon available on their website as well (so be sure to mention it).
  Our new bathroom area looks fantastic, very good work and the two contractors that did it were professional.
