The company operates four stores: two in Madison, one in Janesville and one in Plover. Ray and Michael Peters started the family business as Madison Carpetland USA in 1971. We had faith in the idea that, if we provided only quality products and treated our customers fairly at all times, we’d be able to provide a service to the community and support our family in the process. The Sales People at the store are low pressure sales people, sometimes to low, so in a way it is bitter sweet.  If you kind of have an idea of what you're looking for it's great, but if this is your first time make sure you ask a lot of questions or do your homework as they will not give you much info. Everything went well. Rep from CarpetsPlus helped us select appropriate carpet for our situation, keeping total cost in mind. Installers were great. Cleaned up very well. Overall very professional.

We tried to get a bid on carpet for 2 large rooms. The salesmen on the floor would barely give me the time of day when the store was completely empty of other customers.When I was able to pull them away from conversation with each other, the salesman did not have any knowledge of what he was selling and tried to act like he did by making stuff up.
