I have two teddy bear pups. Kelly is fantastic with them! They always look perfectly groomed when they are done, and they are always happy to see she is also happy to see them! Her demeanor is quite straightforward...but she is professional and extremely knowledgeable.

The vet had my dog on his leash and he chewed all of the way through it.  Not sure how that happened while he was in the back room during the procedure, but they gave me a similar used leash to compensate me.  Months later, however, I recalled that the vet mentioned that I should get my dog licensed after he was nuetered.  This subject came up early in January of 2015 when I adopted him and was in for his initial wellness check.  The vet advised that if I waited to license him until after nuetering it will cost $10 less with the city.  The subject was never mentioned again.  So, in December of 2015 I luckily recalled what the vet said and realized I needed to get the license for my dog.  I was charged a late fee of $25.00 for waiting until then.  I know I am at fault as I kept forgetting to go to City Hall or to inquire about a deadline.  My complaint is that the likely most expensive vet in town has no system to prevent its patients from being late with city dog licensing.  Had I completely forgotten to license my pet last year, I found out the city would have sent a $245.00 ticket in the mail without warning.  The vet reported my pet to the city because the city was already aware of my pet ownership when I licensed him there.  This vet really did very little to help me avoid the late fee and possible enormous fine.  At their prices they should be more proactive in this area of pet ownership by providing email reminders or post cards of licensing deadlines.

They just seem very knowledgeable and very professional. Our dog is a specific breed and has certain tendencies as far as heart problems and stuff and they were very well aware of that, whereas I had to explain that to our old vet. It was really expensive.

We go to them every year. They care and are very professional. They have the best price is town. The physical office is small and therefore low overhead costs. The staff is excellent and they are very responsive.

Great! I've been able to get appointments in a reasonable timeframe. My dog has looked great, very happy with their quality. Price is more than reasonable. They usually finish in approx 2 1/2 to 3 hours. Best of all, I can tel they really like my dog, and she seems to (surprisingly) enjoy her time spent there.

We drop our dog there all the time. They care a lot about our dog. I can tell that they are a very well trained and caring staff. Just about everything about this service is very clean. My dog is under medication and they are fine with that.

I have used Dr. Taggert for many years. He is always kind and conscientious. You leave feeling he is doing what is best for your pet. I also appreciate his taking the time to discuss procedures and outcomes. He is located farther away than I usually like to travel, but if there is any major procedures needed, he is the one I go to. His pricing is very fair and outcomes are excellent. I would highly recommend him and have.

He did a great job. What I like is they set up a satellite clinic on Wednesday and Thursday in the afternoon at my local pet store, I can't remember if it's Pet Co or Pet Smart, they set up a small clinic in there and you can take your pet over there without an appointment, they take walk-ins and there's a vet on-hold there from like 2 to 6 or something like that so it's closer for me to take my pets to the pet store than it is to go up to their clinic. You don't need an appointment so if you need any treatment or you want your pet seen or something, you could just walk in and that's the reason I went initially and then afterwards I like the vets so much that I just continue to go to him. I think they're a little high on price.

As new arrivals in La Crosse, we took our dog to be groomed here. The products that the store carries are higher end, and we assumed the grooming would be of a good quality. The staff of the store was very attentive and quite kind.
The groomer is only available certain days of the week, and must be scheduled pretty far in advance. Services performed were more than adequate, but lacked the finished sense that we are used to. Unfortunately, it just wasn't the nicest cut. Price was comparable with the upper end of other stores, and not cheap by any means.
Perhaps a second visit will yield a better cut. Also researching other options.

My cat has always been a tyrant about his nails. I called Pet Zone Inn Tuesday evening and promptly received a call back the next morning, answering all my questions about their services. I took my cat in to their Grooming salon, located in a converted house in the westmont area. The building was quite nice and well kept. I was immediately greeted by a friendly man in blue scrubs who took my cat back to the grooming area. This was rather unsettling at first, not to be able to watch the grooming process, but within a few minutes my cat was back out, nicely trimmed nails ( not too short, no piercing the quick) and my cat seemed almost calmer and more relaxed coming out and on the short ride home than going in! I would definatly recommend Pet Zone Inn for Cat grooming. The staff was helpful, professional and attentive. The atmosphere was clean, classic and welcoming. The prices were also reasonable. I happily paid $10 to get my cat's claws clipped, as it can run up to $15 at the "chains". Great place!
