    Lucky's Carpentry LLC
The project started fine, as he was on time in most instance to begin the project. However, as the project progressed, at times he showed up when he said he would, and other times, was either late, or did not show up at all. During these times, he had an excuse for the delay, but, most of the time, there wasn't an explanation or even any communication as to why he didn't show up. In mid August of 2017, after the lack of professionalism and level of service I was receiving, I had a conversation with Joe. I discussed with him about how the lack of communication during the project was unacceptable, and that I needed consistent communication about the timeline of the project's completion, and that any further delays had to be discussed. After minor aspects of the job had been completed in September while the tile was being ordered, the lack of professionalism and communication continued. Between September and October, I sent many text messages to Joe, asking him about the timeline of the completion of the project. To which, the responses were delayed, or provided insufficient information. Fast forward to October 19, 2017 - when I received a text from Joe Longoria, stating that he would be at my home the week of October 30, 2017 to install the tile and complete the project, as the tile was scheduled to arrive and be picked up on October 24, 2017. once the tile arrived. My last communication with him was October 24, 2017, when he texted that he would arrive that Friday, or the following Monday to complete the work as promised. I texted him on Thursday to find out when he and his crew would arrive, to which he didn't reply. By Monday, it was evident that he didn't have any intentions in completing the job. As it became clear that he had abandoned the project, I contacted several other companies in November to bid on, and complete the job in which Lucky's Carpentry had started. As a result, I had to hire a company at significant cost to me to remove all of the construction debris he had left behind from the work in the bathroom and the adjoining closet. Then, I had to retain a new contractor for the job. The new contractor found some of the work Lucky Carpentry's had done to be subpar. Therefore, the new contractor had to remove the subpar work at a significant cost to me in order to guarantee the shower/tile work. It is December 7, and the new contractor has started the work, and all is going well, and being handled in a professional manner. Lucky's Carpentry lacked professional and respectful communication to me, and also abandoned the project at significant cost to me. In addition to everything listed above, I also received a text message from Joe Longoria (owner) that included racial slurs. While the text was inadvertently sent to me, it was another sign that this company lacks professionalism, integrity, does subpar work, and isn't reputable. I can say without question, this was the worst experience I've ever had with any contractor in 30+ years of owning a home. I COULD NOT in good faith, or conscience recommend this company, or person for work.

Jim worked with us to help meet our budget while filling our desires.    I was willing to handle the painting and staining so  they provided me the materials and worked around my schedule.   We also  wanted specific things done in the  basement remodel which they did not hesitate to tackle.   This included staining the cement floors, installing barn doors and adding an "on demand" water heater.   Jim was always willing to take our phone call during the process.   They were also flexible and adjusted with our whims and last minute ideas.  We could not have been happier with the overall performance.

Response was great-starting from the first call to coordinating the actual work that needed to be done. Their 'tile guy' was extremely professional and did a great job of explaining why certain materials were chosen over others. A nice guy who did great work.

New flooring click system did not match newer flooring. I was told there may be a non compatibility  issue when bid was originally given. When person called back with quote, I was told the click systems could match, so I went ahead with the project. The person giving me the quote now tells me he said they could not match the click system. When installers came to patch the floor, the systems did not match and a small section of the flooring was not fixed to my liking.

It went very well. Their 'workers' are all friendly and do great quality of work. They were quick to answer any questions and fulfill requests.. Always left the area clean. They were in our home approx 6 weeks.

My wife and I thought we were getting great service initially. When all the measurements were complete we were estimated a price of roughly $11,000 to get all the materials for the above listed rooms plus the dining, kitchen, and family room. This included install. When it came to pay for the materials, the price quoted was now $19,900. The associate thought he had explained it to us the 1st time we were quoted the price. My wife showed him the document displaying that he quoted us $11,000. He said he might have made a mistake. We chose to overlook it and proceed to get the everything done but now in 2 phases because of the price increase.
When the materials came in, I received an email stating that I needed to arrange pick-up. This detail was also left out of the initial conversations. My wife called the corporate office and they explained that out local Lumber Liquidators would deliver the materials. The local store said that I had to make that arrangement with their installer. The installer said I needed to call the local store. Needless to say we were getting the runaround as to who would be delivering our materials. So I went to pick up the materials myself in my car. The young man working that evening had major attitude. When I backed into the the warehouse, he looked at me with a blank face and proclaimed that I needed to go rent a big truck to load my materials and that he would not even attempt at putting anything in my car.
I was very angry by this and we called the corporate office again. We also declined from using their recommended installer, as he was hard to contact any time we reached out to him. They refunded us the install and delivered the materials for free after our displeasure was shared with the corporate office. However, when we went to get the refunded money from the local store, the associate explained to us that the corporate office didn't really know the process of how delivery was managed or much of anything else. I will never go back to this local Lumber Liquidators in Kenosha, WI. They are not disrespectful to clients but also to the people who ultimately employee them.

Rick and his team did an amazing job! They started with a blank slate in an unfinished basement, laid out the space and built an office from the ground up. The space is perfect and top quality. Everything from studs, drywall, flooring, ceiling tiles, etc...they did it all and at a competitive price. I already have plans to use Rick and his team again! Highly recommended.

I wanted to replace a 1970's kitchen floor.  I went around for info and estimates on flooring.  At the store they took the time to explain pros and cons over various floor types (hardwood, laminate, vinyl) and what might be best for the area I needed it i.  He then found several styles I wanted.
The owner came out (for free) to measure, see what the job was and give me a labor - installation estimate.  I then decided on the floor type and style.  I then got a written estimate for the product and installation.
Installation was great.  I meet with installer, revewed the job and then I left and returned around 5.   The floor looked spectacular.  He has called needed to come back the next morning to finish putting back the wood moldings.  Because we had not moved in I just gave him the contractor code to the door lock.  He planned on returning at 6 AM and finishing  - that way that days main job would start on time.

    Carpetland Flooring Center
Very happy with the result. I have animals that have indoor accidents from time to time. I had no choice but to go with top of the line stain protect pad and carpet. I did a lot of shopping, all over Racine and Kenosha. Carpetland beat the highest estimate by 1,000.00 and the 2nd to lowest by 250.00. I got the same name brand material for a great price.
