  Rick came out & spent about 1 hour checking the chimney, roof & fireplace for repairs. He gave me some options to fix the water leak & said he would get back to me with estimate for the repairs. NEVER heard another word from him or Over the top roofing. Terrible customer relations !!

  I asked them to do a routine chimney cleaning. Even though it was during their busy season, making an appointment was quick and easy with the friendly phone staff.The technicians were right on time, had good communication skills, and conducted themselves professionally. They did a complimentary safety check and found that my chimney crown was cracked and leaking. I appreciated this very much as addressing this problem now will save me greater expense and repairs in the long run. I only have 2 minor complaints. One was that the newly trained technician saw what he thought might have been a installation mistake and spoke to me about his concern before he checked with his boss - it was not a problem, but I had already become a quite concerned about it. Also I had to do some clean up on the hearth exterior - they left soot on it. But, overall I was very pleased with them!

  My call to the office was answered by a very helpful and friendly person and the appointment was scheduled easily and quickly. Service technician was on time, was courteous, and finished in a timely mannner. He found some problems and I was impressed by his communication skills while explaining them to me. He filled me in on what exactly the problem was, why it was important to address, how it could be fixed, and how the problem could affect the future integrity of the chimney. I appreciate being able to now make an informed decision about the repairs. My only complaint is that they left soot on the hearth that we had to clean up after. Otherwise, very happy with this company overall.

  I purchased the $99 chimney sweep deal. I received an email stating the deal isn't valid in my area 4 days after purchasing. No where in the deal does it mention service area. I emailed the company requesting their assistance refunding the deal and trying to understand where it states the area they serve; I've received no response back. I find this very disappointing because I am not located far from Wauwatosa which is where it says the company is located.

  Phil was excellent for the estimate, explained the things that needed to be done, and things I could hold off on. He was able to get it done within a week of the estimate. Phil is very professional and wants to do a great job for his customers.

  Overall, the work went very well.  They were prompt in making all appointments.  They clearly communicated their assessment that, even though they were quoting the roof, that we had a seriously deteriorating chimney (we agreed) and they wrapped the two projects together so that all of the work could be done within the same timeframe.  They protected all of the plants and shrubs around the house while they did the work and they cleaned up very well.  A few weeks after the work was done, the project manager came out and reviewed the project with us to make sure that we were satisfied with all of the work.

  We were very pleased with their work.  They came when they said they would.  They let us know when they encountered additional, unexpected work and gave us reasonable quotes to complete the work, told us how long each step would take, and completed the work on time and within budget.  All workers cleaned up after each section of the job, and they protected the plantings around the base of the house from their work.  After all was said and done, the inspector came out and verified with us that the work was done and of good quality.  Very professional!

  Being a female with ZERO experience in roofing I had about a thousand questions.  I researched like crazy on what I need, what the process is, what to do and what not to do.  It is very important that I understand the process and what exactly I am getting.
   
  I received quotes from five roofing companies.  Each one included different things with different descriptions making it a challenge to know what it all meant. 
  Out of the companies I received quotes from, Dave from NW Roofing was the first to follow up and was wonderful answering every question I had, and never made me feel like any of my dumb questions were dumb questions. He took the time to explain exactly what the differences were so I could make a somewhat educated decision. I was very comfortable with him and never felt like I was being "sold" on anything.  A couple of the roofers I thought were a bit questionable and felt like I was being taken advantage of.  
  Dave came out a second time to meet with me and show me some of the items I had questions on.  Also during the process of having my roof looked at, it came to my attention that I needed work on my chimney as well. Dave recommended a mason that he knew and I ultimately had him do the work on my chimney. They coordinated times and what needed to be done between the two of them. His recommendation was excellent.
  I was completely confident signing off on his company doing the work. When it came time for picking a shingle color I wasn't quite sure.  It was hard to decide from samples so he located houses close to me that had the shingles so I could look at a complete roof before choosing.
  His crew showed up promptly on day one in fact I believe they were early - how many contractors can you say that about.  They wasted no time getting right to work, and even thought I provided treats they waited until their break to dig in!  They were very pleasant and professional.
  The job was finished on time, with no additional costs.  I have a beautiful new roof and honestly feel that I received the best price and the best service.
  I will be hiring Northwest Roofing again to replace my soffits and add vents. Now if only they washed windows!

  I found them on Angie’s List. The person, who came out, inspected the chimney. He used a camera to go up and down the chimney. He found quite a few cracks in the flue. He determined that the best way to fix it would be to remove the cracked flue and put in a stainless steel liner and that is what I had the company do for me. I spent above $5,000 on the service. They were competitive for the cost of the repair. They came out on time on the set date. They cleaned up before they left. They were very good. I would use them again in the future.

  Charlie and the staff were great to work with! We had a floor to ceiling (approximately 18ft H x 6ft W) brick fireplace that we wanted completely torn down and replaced with a modern stacked stone. Genesse Fireplace was happy to take on the challenge. They completed the entire project from demolition to reframing, hanging drywall and building the mantel from my husband's drawing, staining it to match our new hardwood floors exactly. We now have a fireplace we will enjoy for many years.
