  • Left message on a Sunday and Chris called early Monday morning. He was at our house in a couple of hours. He looked at the tree and wrote up the estimate for it's removal. He happened to have an opening the very next day and despite me wondering if this was a ploy for the job, his price did come in cheaper than the other estimate so I grabbed at the chance to have it removed quickly. The other company wasn't available for at least a week and the third company I contacted had even had a chance to give me an estimate. So anyway, the crew arrived by 8:00 am the next day and since the storm, the ground was very muddy. They laid down boards onto the grass so as to not leave ruts in the grass with their machines. This tree was on the side of our property line with the neighbor and in fact one of the tree limbs was resting in the neighbor's tree so my neighbors even watched the job. The crew was very nice and worked diligently, taking care to not damage the neighbor's landscape. They even did a little bit of pruning in their tree while they were cutting out the limb. The job took about 4 hours and they also took a bit of extra brush that my husband had previously cut down and cut down a large dead limb from another tree in our yard. Overall I was pleased with the service.

  • Left a message on a Sunday and got a call back right away Monday morning. Chris arrived two hours later for an estimate. I already had one from another quick respondent, but Chris' quote was considerably cheaper. He also happened to have an opening the following day so I accepted his quote and cancelled my estimate request from a third company. The workers were there promptly at 8:00 and worked quickly and efficiently. I was impressed with how much care they took into not damaging existing landscape since they were driving large equipment on our lawn. Most of the work was done in the neighbor's yard since the tree was next to the property line and one trunk hung over their property and landed in their tree. The worker who was chopping up that trunk was careful not to drop any pieces and crush their flowerbed. They raked up and hauled away all the debris and even took an extra pile of sticks that we had collected in the yard after various storms. They also cut a few random dead branches in another tree for us. Was very pleased with the job they did.

  • They told me what I am doing is sufficient. They have very good arborists. They are very honest, and detailed. They are outstanding, and I would highly recommend. They also do two applications a year on our Crab Trees.

  • The crew arrived on scheduled. They made certain they buys which trees to remove. They were conscientious and professional. My only concerned is that some tree wits and sawdust damage. It was a mild windy day so I don't brow if it could have been avoided. I would definitely use this company again.

  • They are a professional, considerate, competent, reliable, and extremely detail oriented.  The clean up is immaculate - they cut down a huge oak, and I had no idea they were there that day.  I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM!

  • Three to four people come out to handle the yard.  They do good quality work.  They do what they say they will do.  It's all weather dependent for schedule adherence.  They have competitive pricing and they do an adequate job.  We've been using them for a very long time, they know our expectations.  If something is not right they do come back, however sometimes you do have to call them to come back.

  • We sustained damage to two very large Chinese elms as a result of high winds from a storm on Thursday, August 29, 2013.  Approximately 6 very large limbs were ripped out of the two trees, 3 resting on the ground, with 3 others suspended above the entrance to our pole barn in a very dangerous place.  The limbs were suspended over the entrance to the pole barn where they posed a real hazard.  We were very concerned that bringing the limbs down would damage the barn or hurt someone.
I was referred to Kevin Murley, the owner of Vertical Landscapes, by a local equipment rental store.  I had called three local tree removal/landscaping companies on Wednesday, September 4th before calling Kevin.  None of the three other companies could send anyone out to give me an estimate until Thursday, September 5th.  I called Kevin, who said he could come over later Wednesday afternoon.
Kevin came by the house at about 4pm on Wednesday afternoon.  He assured us he could bring down the limbs without touching the barn.  He gave me an estimate of $400 and said he would come the next morning to do the work.  He arrived at 9:30am pm Thursday with two trucks and a wood chipper.  Kevin and his two crew guys got the limbs already on the ground cut up and the crew started chipping the branches.  After this was accomplished, Kevin climbed the tree using special ropes, a harness and lumberjack gear.
Kevin was able to bring down all three of the large branches quickly, safely and efficiently.   They cut up all of the wood to a size I could use it in my wood stove.  I had the limbs of another large tree I had taken down sitting by the barn and asked them if they could mulch them up and take them away.  Kevin said they could do this for $100, to which I agreed.  So I ended up paying him $500 for the whole job, which I thought was a fair price.  Kevin and his crew were finished by 1:30pm, or about 4 hours.
After the work was done I asked Kevin for a bid on taking down a dead tree near my house.  He proposed a fair fee for that work, also, so he will be coming back shortly to complete that job, too.
Kevin Murley and his team were on time, very professional, extremely competent and very fair about the price.

  • In order to prepare the east side of our drive for landscapin, the buckthorn along a bank and into the back of driveway needed to come down and stumps sprayed to deter comeback. JTA crew started around 8 am and we're done by 1 pm. They chipped all the trees and dumped chips where I could use them as needed. Cost was less than I expected.

  • Everything went smoothly from the estimate to the actual work. Jerred was very timely in responding to my questions about the estimate and (although the work was slightly delayed due to heavy rain) in completing the job. The crew did a great job cleaning up the site. I would definitely recommend Arbor Pro!

  • They were very prompt and they came and gave us an estimate.  They are going to do some work for us and I was very pleased. He was very direct and he was not at all pushy. He pointed out what needed to be done.  He knows that we know a little bit about landscaping so he was very informative.  He gave us an estimate and it was a pleasant one. He won’t be able to do anything for a few weeks but he told us what we could do and he was very helpful.
