Auto Repair reviews in Greendale

    Leonard Auto Body
It was truly a pleasure working with Brian and the staff at Leonard Auto Body. After reading this company's reviews on Angie's List, we dropped the vehicle off after hours, unannounced, just to get an estimate. We were contacted with an estimate first thing the next business day. Because this shop contracts with our insurance carrier, our repairs did not even require an adjuster be present. Although we received cheaper estimates elsewhere, we felt confident that Leonard Auto Body would do the best job. They replaced, painted, blended, and finished a front fender, bumper, headlight, and all trim. The work was immaculate. Our vehicle was done in a very timely fashion, spotlessly cleaned, and we were given an Angie's List discount off our deductible. We would certainly do business with Leonard Auto Body in the future. Thanks for a great experience!

    Girard's Service Center
The service was very good. The workers were very good. They guy that runs the place is very knowledgeable and accommodating. He actually even had done things like telling me that I do not need a service and do not need to spend that much money. I always like to hear that. The work was done very promptly. The quality of their repair work stands out. I never had a problem.

    JOHN THE MUFFLER MAN
Everything was handled very professionally. Prices beat nearby competitors. JTMM replaced all four rotors and brakes with performance parts I provided. The quality and timeliness were outstanding. Will certainly do business with again.

    Firestone Complete Auto Care
Been here maybe 2-3 times, each experience was worse than the preceding one.  This is one of those shops that flat out lies (at best, very badly misleads) about the state of your vehicle.  Each time I went in, something additional was wrong, be it a brake light or an air filter that was black with dirt.  Sorry folks, I know how long it takes to remove my air filter, you didn't do within 30 seconds of my car going into a bay.  And I know the filter you showed me isn't the brand that's in my car.
I get it, oil changes are low margin.  Oil is expensive, even min. wage labor isn't cheap.  There's way more underbody stuff on cars that you need to remove, so labor time increases.
But you're going to get people to pay for those higher margin add-on services way more frequently by being good people.  Stop trying to trick customers (or even pressure them) into buying extra stuff.
Bonus negative points for getting a flat tire after visiting the last time around.  I realize there are a lot of bolts and whanot any place cars are worked on, but that's all the more reason you need to keep your bays and parking lots clean.

    VALVOLINE INSTANT OIL CHANGE
I used to work across the street from this location and would always go on my lunch break for oil changes and other minor service that just doesn't make sense to do yourself (normally I do all my own scheduled maintenance).  10-15 minutes I'd be out the door, well worth $30 or so for a standard oil change.  They never once did the nonsense most oil change places do, where they pull some nasty old air filter out from under the counter and claim that it is yours.  They'd say "your car is at 20k miles, you should do this as well" but that was it, just a suggestion.

Wisconsin Muffler Tire & Auto Repair LLC
I've been to this particular Wisconsin Muffler a few times, although not for a while. They've fixed minor exhaust problems (leaking seals) and also swapped a failing catalytic converter for me on a car that wouldn't pass emissions. People are nice to deal with, not pushy salesmen and not super crude either. Prices are reasonable, turnaround quick.

    Mr. P's Tires
I've done business with Mr P's numerous times over the past 10 years. Everything from buying a new set of tires to balancing to tire repairs. They always have the best prices or close to the best. Service is fast, car comes out right. Last time I was in, I had a bolt or something in my tire. No appointment needed, show up, pull in, get out in under 30 minutes (I came right when they opened, so was first or second in line).

    Don Jacobs Toyota
I brought my car in for service due to continually wet carpeting in the front and odor from the air vent (both attributed to a clogged air conditioner drain tube). Chris Tovar was responsive and took the time to explain the situation. Before even sending the car back to the technician, he pulled out the cabin air filter and showed me it was mildewy and needed replacement. Then he replaced it on the spot and didn't charge for labor (part only). He even took an extra moment to remove tree leaves and debris that had collected in the air intake area under the hood. The service technician unclogged my air conditioner drain tube. The process took slightly longer than estimated but was close enough to be acceptable. I have had similar interactions with Chris in the past. He is exceptionally professional and respectful to the customer.

    MAYNARDS AUTO SERVICE
Have worked with the company off and on over 14 years. I may go elsewhere once and a while, but I always come back to Bill  Maynards.  Kevin explains everything clearly, good  and prompt service, free loaner, or a ride home. The big thing, I TRUST THEM

    RICHLONN'S TIRE & SERVICE CENTER
We were quoted a price from a dealer, so we called him to affirm. He never ripped them a new one or made them sound bad to make himself look good. We have gone there for service as well. They tell you the time that you are getting in and they are on time. They do good work. I can walk there from my house, so transportation isn't an issue if I have to drop my car off. They are really nice people. They can be a little expensive sometimes, but not so bad that I would stop using them.
