  • I have visited this eye clinic more times with my wife than I wish to even count. My wife has reoccurring eye ulcers that are very painful and can seem to develop overnight. One minute her eyes start to turn red and within a half hour she is in so much pain that she can hardly keep her eyes open. She has been dealing with this since she was 16. We are always able to get an appointment right away because of her previous history, but because we are usually an appointment that they fit in, we generally have to sit in each waiting room about 45 minutes to an hour. The doctors are always very helpful and able to give her treatment that works, but the amount of time spent in the waiting room is just too long.

  • I made an appt. to have my eyes checked to determine the cause of excessive watering. I was able to get in fairly quickly. The staff was very efficient although the clinic was packed when I went, so there was a short wait. The doctor was very thorough and communicated well even though English was not her first language. The only thing I regret is not asking how much each service cost. The doctor thought she saw some abnormality and asked if it would be alright to take pictures to get a closer look inside of my eye. The pictures were very costly ($241) and I should have checked on the cost before I agreed. Nothing out of the ordinary was found but I'm still paying for the bill. She couldn't find anything wrong with my eyes and suggested that I might have a clogged oil gland. She was very professional but not warm and fuzzy.
I feel I was overcharged but the billing dept. allowed me to make payments on a budget plan. I had to call every couple of months to have it extended or they will send it to collections. My whole bill was almost $500 just to see if I had a clogged tear duct (which I didn't). My insurance didn't cover it because I didn't meet my $3000 deductible.

  • I went directly to the eye clinic where I was given a thorough exam including general vision and field vision tests. When I was told there was something wrong with my retina I requested to be seen by Dr. Brian Perkovich that day. I was immediatly brought to the opthamologist office where more extensive testing was done. They determined that I had a blood clot in my retina which was extremely rare since I was only 38 and in very good health. I was sent to the lab where they drew a lot of blood to test for almost 20 different disorders. I have had several follow up visits since that time. During my first it was also discovered that I had several small holes in my retina and Dr. Perkovich lasered my retina that evening. He had somewhere to be that night but put my eyesight above his personal life. Every time I have been to see him he treats me like his most important patient. I have heard him interact with other patients and he treats them just as well. He may run late...sometimes very late...but he is worth it! You couldn't ask for better care!

  • The doctor depends on who is available. They are ok. Nothing bad has happened, but there just is not a "Wow" factor. The wait is very long. One time I waited for an hour without anyone checking in on me. The doctors are very professional and friendly, maybe a little rushed but not unfirendly. Their treatments worked well. I usually do see Dr. Matthew Thompson.

  • I think all of them are good. The one physician I saw was Kurt Scattergood. He's an ophthalmologist and retina specialist. He's extremely knowledgeable. He's an excellent doctor. They're an excellent office. The appointments are easy. The staff is great. Overall, it was very good.

  • I have been consulting him for the last 4 years.  I had gone to him for a second opinion and he have stuck with him ever since.  I have been seeing him as after my stroke I don’t have vision in my eye.  I see him once every 2 months and make an appointment during my visit for the next visit.  Initially, you see a nurse who does all the preliminary tests and then wait for her.  Later, I have to wait for the doctor, so I don’t feel punctuality is that great.  The nurses are great.  They are very compassionate, caring; they talk to you and are very concerned.  He listens to you and answers your questions.  I have had problems with the billing team, where I was billed for things I shouldn’t be.  I will use them again in the future.

  • The staff is very professional and very courteous. The waiting room is very comfortable. I've been seeing them for about three years. I would absolutely continue to use them in the future.
