    Mike's Mobile Maintenance
He changed the plug and the oil, and cleaned out the carburetor. He also cleaned it up so it looked like new. He then left a bill in my mailbox. When I got home I tried to start it up, and it worked on the first pull. Great quality, timely, and at a good price.

    Mike's Mobile Maintenance
Maintenance 920-755-4047 on the recommendation of a friend. He fitted me in within 2 days, came right to the house and took care of everything there and then. The cost of service was very reasonable, plus I did not have to pay a pickup/delivery fee, or have to struggle to get the mower in the back of the lil red wagon by myself. Mike is very personable and and a clean worker. I would definitely recommend his service for small engine repairs.

    Mike's Mobile Maintenance
He came to our house and fixed the snowblower. It had been leaking gas and the paddles were not spinning. He replaced a belt and the paddles and some other parts. He investigated the leak but couldn't find anything. It was extremely convient for this type of service to be performed on site instead of having to drag your equipment in to a shop. The snowblower works better than ever.

    STRAVELER'S SPORT CTR
Stravelers sports center has given me timely and great priced repairs and service all year long while I started a lawn and garden business, I needed plenty of work done. He was glad to help and very competitively priced. I was so impressed with his work I decided to buy a new lawn tractor from him. With service like this, its hard to pass up. He is a Poulan and Jonserred dealer, too.

    CEDAR SMALL ENGINE AND REPAIR
WHEN I DROPPED THE LAWN MOWER OFF ON MAY 28, I WAS TOLD IT WOULD BE ABOUT 2-1/2 WEEKS. IT WAS READY IN 2 WEEKS. ALL THE EMPLOYEES WERE VERY POLITE AND THEY EXPLAINED WHAT HAD TO BE DONE TO REPAIR THE MOWER AND SHOWED ME THE OLD BLADE.

    WIESE'S SAW SHOP
The saw seems to work quite well after about 4 tanks of fuel.  I'm quite pleased.  The saw seems to have about as much power as it did in its prime. I was concerned about durability and tolerances of the Chinese aftermarket cylinder/piston.  But the cost of this repair was less than half the quote from a Stihl dealer, and was quite fair based on my search on ebay, etc, for aftermarket parts.  The "normal" dealer charges for Stihl parts, plus labor, would have been almost the cost of a new Stihl. When some minor aftermarket parts arrived and didn't look like they would meet their standards, they called me, discussed the situation, ordered some better parts from Stihl, and kept the repair cost in line with their estimates.  Excellent service. Time will tell whether the aftermarket parts hold up.  I'm glad to run this experiment on an older, small-ish saw. Wieses are Dolmar dealers, so I was pleased that they would take on an old Stihl project.  It's now my backup.  I did search for a replacement saw, and eventually settled on a Makita, sold by another dealer 1/2 mile from my woodlot.  For what it's worth, the corresponding Dolmar saw from Wieses' would have saved me about 12% over what I paid.  They were also cheaper than any comparable saw source that I found on the internet, including eBay, Bailey's or Amazon. Regarding puctuality -- I told them at the outset that I was in NO HURRY to get the saw back, so they worked the repairs to fit around parts orders and other stuff.  I didn't rate them "A" for punctuality, not because they did anything wrong, but  because I didn't push much.  I would definitely consider them for future work, or if I need a different saw.

    Joe's Power Center
They will give you an accurate estimate and information on your tool whether to replace it, junk it, or repair it. In fact, they are very strong about their advice. I wanted to get rid of a 22-year-old tractor last year and they said don't do that. You can't buy anything better than that. Spend the 400 bucks and fix it, so I did.

Scott's Lawn & Garden Tool Sharpening Service
I did a search for a service provider here in the Fox Valley capable of sharpening chainsaw chains.  I found a few excellent reviews for Scott's Sharpening Service at the yellowpages.com and decided to give him   His workshop is just a couple of blocks from where I live which is very convenient.  I had a chance to test out one of the very dull chainsaw chains I dropped off yesterday.  In less than 24 hours, Scott called me right away to let me know they were done and ready to go.  He did a tremendous job and the chains are better than new, if you can believe that.   Not only did he have them ready in less than 24 hours, but he has an extremely convenient 24 hour drop box.  Weekends, evenings, rain or shine... put whatever you need sharpened in the drop box, fill out a repair tag with your name and phone number, attach the tag to your dull item and voila!  Scott has them sharpened in no time and ready to pick up in the same convenient drop box location.  It's so simple, so easy, so convenient and insanely professional.  He doesn't do just chainsaw chains either!  Anything and everything is fair game and if he can't sharpen it, chances are Scott knows someone who can. I will not hesitate to recommend Scott's Sharpening Service to anyone and have already recommended him to several neighbors.
