    I suspected that the dryer vent was clogged before calling JD Appliance. My call to Jim was answered promptly and we arranged for him to look at the dryer three days later; he told me that he did not do vent cleaning, but that lint build up in the machine could still be the problem. Unfortunately, Jim's residence caught on fire the morning of our initial appointment (it was in fact covered on the local TV news) and he called to reschedule.. The only reason that he got a B for punctuality is that he was running behind schedule and did not call to tell me that he was going to be about an hour late. When he checked the dryer, he found that air flow was blocked by a blob of lint at the exit from the dryer. This was removed and the vent was also cleared as far as he could reach. He recommended that the dryer not be positioned so close to the wall to allow the vent tube to be straighter. He also recommended the service of the dryer vent cleaning company if his work did not fix the problem and provided me the name of another Angie's list company (A rating). His work is under warranty for 90 days. He did not charge for labor, only the service call. He is friendly, courteous, honest, and professional. Would definitely use again and highly recommend JD Appliance.

    Dave did an entire store build out for our company (Milan Laser Hair Removal). From the first walk through, he was extremely professional, on time and knowledgeable. He updated me weekly on progress, including photos, and also did bi-weekly video walkthroughs. Our project was completed several days early, and upon arrival, the quality of work was excellent. Dave delivered a space to us that was exactly to our specifications, and also sparkling clean. This was one of the easiest, professional general contractors we have worked with. I would highly recommend LaBonte Construction.

    Roy was able to come the same day I called. After inspecting the refrigerator he determined the compressor died and recommended replacing instead of repairing (refrigerator is 15 years old). Appreciate his honesty.

They called us back when they got the part and arranged a time and date to install the part. The repairman arrived on schedule and fixed the problem.     Mr. Appliance of Green Bay
    Spent about ten minutes looking at it, charged $8 for 2 screws that were missing and wanted to replace the icemaker and charge another $300. Billed $90 for the service call. Bought a new one for $130 and replaced it myself. Service guy wasn't overly friendly.

    We had a garbage disposal installed about a week ago.  Apparently when the garbage disposal was installed they turned the water off to the dishwasher.  I am so upset that I was charged for a service call when the man was only here for literally 5 minutes - 2 of those writing up the invoice and taking my check.  I can almost guarantee that most other repair places would not have charged me for the service call.  I will say that when I scheduled my appointment, the lady on the phone couldn't have been any nicer which is why I gave them an overall score of a D instead of an F.

    There is one service technician, Chris Boremann, who is exceptional.  He does all of my repairs.  He works on appliances in my apartment buildings as well as in my home.  He is the only repair person I have ever had over the years who goes above and beyond in every respect.  He is courteous, knowledgeable, punctual, professional and he even makes things easier for me as an apartment manager.  He picks up keys for me and returns them so I don't have to go on site to meet him when I am unable.  He explains every aspect of the job he's doing so that I can understand what's wrong and needs to be repaired.  In the 20 years I've been managing apartments, he is the absolute best repairman I have ever dealt with, hands down.  If you need an appliance repaired and want to make sure it's done right, Chris Boremann is your repair man.  He also tries to keep the cost down whenever possible!  A win win situation!!

    It is a national company owned by Sears. We had to wait for the board to be ordered, and wait for it to get here, and he came out again to install the new board, and it didn't work at all. It was a bad board, and ordered a new one. When that one came here, it broke into half. They sent another repair man here who looked at the range, and determined that the only problem was a broken wire in the heating element. He fixed that, and it has been fine since. There was no cost as it was all warranty work.  Their price was high.
