    They didn't charge us anything. They were originally scheduled to come out on Friday and we told them we couldn't do it on Friday so they came out on a Sunday. The fellow spent about two hours hooking everything up and also hooked up a couple of other TVs. He showed us how to use everything and programmed all the remotes. He did just a super job on everything.

    Although my salesman was very nice and the delivery men were very good, I am very disappointed in Ashley Furniture.  First, i had to wait two weeks for my recliner to be delivered. The chair was delivered damaged and had to be returned. Ashley Furniture was willing to return my money, except delivery charges. I wasn't happy with having to pay delivery charges since the chair was damaged.  I, therefore, chose to have another chair delivered which was done in a timely manner. However, after sitting in the chair that evening, it would not recline, nor would the footrest retract.  I called Ashley and was told the recliner needed adjusting and someone would call to arrange  a technician appointment. I am not aware of anyone  calling, so I again called Ashley.  The person from Ashley said they left a message for technician to come on the 23rd of May.  Again, everyone I dealt with was very nice but almost TWO months without a working recliner??? I asked for my money back, but they said they have three chances to fix the problem. I was told this return information was on the back of my receipt.  Yes, i did find it on the back, in small print! How disappointed I am in Ashley furniture for their return policies and non-refundable delivery fees.

    On Christmas Day 2009, I had a water problem in my basement. Now, I need to move the pool table to replace the carpet, but Allied has apparently gone out of business, and did not inform any of their customers! Disappointed to say the least. Looking for another company to help me.

    Sears was scheduled between 1 and 5 pm today for warranty work on my washer. at 3:30, a customer service rep called to say it would be impossible for the repairman to be here today. Unfortunately, I have to reschedule with Sears to get this work done, but otherwise I would not - therefore I answered "no" to would you use again. This is the second time Sears Repair has done this. Last winter, I waited until past the time scheduled for the repairman, I had to call to find out what was going on. This was for a water softener repair. I had to reschedule that repair too. I will avoid purchasing appliance from Sears in the future so that I don't have to call them for repairs. On my out of warranty items, If repairs are needed I will call other companies first. The repair people are ok and sometime very helpful, but I have not give Sears a review in the past due to problems with their not arriving on schedule.

    We originally purchased a washer in 1/2004 from here and were very happy with our purchase. However, 2 yrs almost to the day of our purchase, our $350 washer is leaking water and sounding like a freight train. I called an appliance repair service who told me to contact the store we bought it from b/c even though the warranty is over, the store should fix the washer for little cost since it's so new still. The store is not willing to do anything and said it will cost us $250 to fix our $350 washer. I am disgusted with this and will NEVER buy from them again. Don't waste your money here!
