    Tree & Snow Removal Services
My experience with Tree and Snow Removal Services (Luis) for my stump removal was outstanding! He was easy to contact, came out withing days, and charged a very fair price. I would absolutely recommend Tree and Snow Removal.

Gridiron Grinders Tree Stump Removal Llc
They came out and removed several stumps off our large lot in a number of sizes and awkward places on the lot. They were through and ground as deep as they could. It started raining on the 1st day and they worked as long as they could and was back promptly the next day to finish up This was very important as we needed to finish grinding to complete some other work we were having done.

Paul was prompt in coming out for a quote and taking out the tree.  He worked fast and was very easy to work with.  We had stones cemented in a ring around the stump which made grinding out the stump difficult.  He did the best he could and offered to come back at no charge if additional grinding was needed.  Overall, I was very pleased with the service and plan on using Arborscape again.

    Eduardo's Tree Svc
I called Eduardo's Tree Services to get a quote for trimming 4 trees in my yard.  I did not get a call back so after about 1 week I called once more.  He returned the call quickly, but stated that he does not do work in Germantown, even though Angie's list states he works in Washington County.  I'm not sure why he was not interested in my business, or alternatively, why he has not kept his information up to date.

I will start by saying we were happy with the work that was performed and the price. However, the rest of the experience was very frustrating. They didn't communicate with us regarding when they were going to perform the service (and didn't show up on the original date they told us they would begin). They also left our home on two seperate occasions without acknowledging the work wasn't complete. I had to call them two weeks later for them to confirm they were still going to be finishing the project in the coming days. They also told me top soil was included in the original quote, which I later found out wasn't the case. Early in the process I was told they didn't have a lot of work to do this summer, so I was expecting a more timely completion of our project. All in all, I would have much rather paid a slightly higher price to work with a more professional company and not have to deal with all the headaches. We do not plan to use them again.

    Affordable Stump Removal LLC
It was done very professionally, ground stump and surrounding roots out better than I expected. by the size of the tree stump I knew it would be more which was still VERY inexpensive. it was ground very fine so cleanup was easy.
I will have them back once I begin work in the back yard; Great job guys!

    First Choice Tree Care, Inc.
The work done went well except for one problem.  I specifically asked when making my first call to have the person inspecting the trees call me first so I could be there.  I really wanted to have direct contact and hear his explanations in person so that I could see exactly what he was talking about and ask any questions that came up.  First Choice had done some work for us in the spring and had examined our trees when we were not home and while everything went ok, I really felt that this time I wanted to be there in person.  I soon got a call from Jeff saying that he had been in the neighborhood so he looked at the trees.  He did offer to come out again, but I was disappointed that my request was not honored.  The Locust tree was treated on a timely basis.  I then attempted to call the office to pay the bill with a credit cared and had to leave a message.  I did not receive a call back.  It took 3 calls on 3 different days before I was able to reach a person to pay the bill.
The work that was done in the Spring included spraying a crab apple 3 times (83.03 each time) to prevent fungal attacks which did improve leaf size and density and the trunk injection to prevent Emerald Ash Borer for our Ash tree (177.62 for a 10" diameter tree).  As I said, this work went well and there were no problems to report.  The company has a good guarantee for the Ash tree protection.

It started with my call to Cut Above The Rest. Mike responded quickly and he explained that all quotes are done on the weekend because he and his team are working M-F. He came to my home on a Sunday and walked throught the work area and sought my advice on what on wanted done, the rationale for it and then made suggestions on ways to improve what I wanted acccomplished.
The job was escalated due to the work he was doing in the area. Mike's team included himself and one additional man. They were on my property for two days. They are self directive and require no supervision. They started around 10AM and worked through 7PM on day one and until completion around 6PM on the second day. The equipment for trimming the trees is state of the art and drew attention from at least two neighbors. I know for a fact that Cut Above was asked for a job quote by at least one neighbor. All quotes are for the job and not for an hourly rate.
My wife and I choose Cut Above because of Mike. He is articulate, knowledgable and does the work himself. Many other tree services have a supervisor on the job and will come and go during the work. Mike does the work and leads by example. All tree branches, logs, and other materials were removed and chipped on site. Ground cover pads were used to move the heavey equipment into the yard and during the work. My grass was matted down from the pads and heavey equipment but the lawn was perfect as it was before they started. My wife actually wanted to create a drawing with names of all the trees. When the job was over he walked with us through the work area explaining what was done and pointed out each tree and made suggestions on how to keep the buckthron from coming back.
I'm in sales and I believe you get what you pay for. Cut Above the Rest wasn't the cheapest but I feel they are the best. Mike takes pride in his work and company. He provided a detailed workorder and contract and he did everthing he said he would do, kept to the timeline he gave me, cleaned up after the job each day and most importantly created a scenic and beautiful park like setting for me in my backyard. I wish I would have taken before and after pictures. Each day I look out the patio door and I'm so glad I had this done with Cut Above the Rest. I would strongly recommend that you call them and allow them to bid. If the price is more than you expected and you decide to use someone else that's fine. Mike's work is the best and he deserves at least giving him a chance to win your business. He belives in what he does, is honest and hard working, is personable and a true gentlemen. You have nothing to lose.

Kevin was wonderful. He came out quickly and provided an estimate and some suggestions. He was very knowledgeable. We were able to schedule the services during the winter and didn't have to wait until spring. He did an awesome job removing all the trees and bushes and cleaning up the debris. I was amazed how quickly he had the job done. We have several other projects for the yard and wouldn't think of calling anyone else.

    Kevin Toenyan Stump Grinding
Great!  They cut down several large branches very high one of our cottonwood trees.  They are from Minnesota and they came over there checking door to door i.e. can I have a fence at first which are very professional.  They came on when they said they would and they are very timely with what they did and they promise what they did.  They did this back in I think it was either late August or mid September.  The approximate cost of the service is $600.
