    At first it everything seemed fine with the replacement. The replacement timing belt broke on April 24, 2017, causing some damage to the head of the engine. They got my car on April 25, 2017. They stated they would either need to rebuild or replace the engine head and stated it would be easier to just replace. We gave them a few weeks to initially get it done and I have been going every Friday personally to check on the status of the car. Joe, the manager, has been telling me that its going to be specific dates of arrival for the engine and that day comes and the engine has not arrived. Every time I speak with him I am told I am going to call you, and I never receive a call back. I visited the office on June 9, 2017 and was told that they had good news, that the engine was for sure going to be there on June 13, 2017, and to our knowledge the engine didn't arrive on June 13, 2017.

    I received great service!  I usually HATE going to get my car worked on.  Within a few minutes of coming in, I was being taken care of: set up in the computer and Nick listened to my description of the problem and ensured me that they would keep the car until they could re-create the problem and evaluate it. He took time on the phone to explain the problem and answered all my questions. This estimate was significantly lower than the previous shop. While they had the car, I requested they take care of a missing stabilizer bar and Nick texted me pictures that the part was truly missing compared to the other side of the car and his price was better than the dealerships estimate.  Both problems were resolved in trip. Based on the estimates from the other shops on these problems, Richfield Service saved me over $800. When I came to pick up my car( end of the day on a Friday), I was taken care of as soon as I walked in.  I came back in to ask about another problem and was treated with patience, no one was kicking out the door.  This is the first time I was treated honestly at a shop. I will return to Richfield Service with the rest of my car problems!

    Rather than selling me a new tire which I thought I would need when I had a flat, they explained to me that my spare tire was a full size regular tire that matched the other tires on my car, so I could just use my spare to replace the flat and have them plug the hole in the flat tire and then use the plugged tire as a spare.
    I ended up spending only $10 rather then having to buy a $200+ new tire. I very much appreciated that they did not try to sell me something I did not really need.

    I drove it to a nearby Midas in Menomonee Falls. They were only a few minutes from closing on a Sat evening, but they took my car in anyway. They were able to fix it with a couple new brackets. I was so relieved. Then I found out the price - $0. That's right, they said I owe nothing and to have a nice weekend!! In this freezing cold weather we have been having, that was certainly a warm fuzzy! By the way, the next week when my car didn't start (completely inrelated), I had it towed there for repair!

    I had the opportunity to speak with Bill regarding my
    repairs and I have to say my faith in Weissman automotive was restored. 
    When Bill heard about what happened he called me directly to discuss
    the situation.  He didn't make any excuses and he apologized for what
    happened.  As we spoke Bill asked what he could do to make the situation
    right.  I asked for him to cover the labor on the repair.  Bill did one
    better he refunded the entire repair.  What Bill did to make the
    situation right is remarkable and I will without a doubt return to
    Weissman for future work

    Based on my experience over the last couple of days with Weissman
    Automotive I feel compelled to share what happened.  I'm not one to write reviews on companies,
    but in this instance I feel I need to. 
    The long and short of the story is never, never, ever take your vehicle
    to Weissman Automotive.  Their motto is
    "Service, Quality, Satisfaction!!" and they claim all repairs carry
    our 100% satisfaction guarantee.  If
    nothing else I contend that those claims on their website are false
    advertising...
    So, last Friday I took my car to have some service work done
    by them.  The local Ford dealership told
    me that I needed several things done to my Explorer.  I wanted a second opinion so I went to
    Weissman Automotive.  The experience on
    Friday was great.  I got excellent
    service and they fixed the issues I was having (ignition coils and spark
    plugs).  While doing the repair they
    caused or at the very least accelerated another issue with my truck (a hose
    assembly/heater tube). 
    On Tuesday evening when I was driving home my Explorer
    stopped working on the highway, I had to have my car towed.  Since I just had service work done had it
    towed to Weissman Automotive.  When I
    spoke to Jim about the Explorer on Wednesday after he had a chance to look at
    it he explained that his technician might have caused the problem but it wasn't
    their fault.  The analogies that he used
    was "if a plumber comes to your house to fix the toilet and the light in
    the bathroom burns out while he is in their it is not the plumber's fault.  I'm not sure I see the connection, but
    anyway...  Not really having a choice I
    asked him to complete the repair.  He let
    me know the cost and I asked if he could do anything about the price given the
    situation.  Jim let me know I was already
    getting a good deal.
    On Thursday when I went to pick up the Explorer I explained
    to Jim that I wasn't satisfied and I felt that they should take some
    responsibility.  After arguing with him
    for about 5 minutes in which he repeatedly admitted that his technician likely
    cause the problem he refused to take any responsibility.  He further shared an analogy that made it
    clear that he doesn't believe in good customer service.  Jim said, "If I was driving your car to
    see what the issues were and I ran over a screw it wouldn't be my fault and
    Weismann Automotive wouldn't pay to fix the tire."  I then let him know that he not only lost a
    customer but I would be sure to share with anyone that would listen the
    terrible service of Weissman Automotive. 
    He got rather irate with me - to the point of swearing at me and his
    associate having to repeatedly ask him to calm down.
    The moral of this story - NEVER go to Weissman Automotive in
    Germantown, WI - EVER
