  • Initially there were delays due to weather, which are understandable. However, there was an immediate lack of communication on the part of Milaeger's. When told about it, the communication improved briefly. The work started on the grading, then it rained and we were told it was too muddy to work on our yard. Then things went silent again, no communication. When they stopped working on our yard, they began other projects and even after weather improved, didn't return to finish our project until almost 2 weeks later. They finished the jobs they started after ours before completing our work. The only positive is the workers were very courteous and did a god job on the grading. They spread a layer a seed early in the week and said the hydro seeding would be done that Friday at Saturday. We got a call on Thursday they weren't coming out but they would be out the following Friday or Saturday. They never showed up and no calls were made to us. I called Saturday early afternoon, spoke to a manager twice but was not called back with any answers or updates. I finally called on Tuesday saying why have we still not been called it told when they are hydro seeding. Wednesday morning I'm called and told they sent someone out that morning to look at our yard and now because they waited so long they can't hydro seed, because it would kill the grass that has started coming in. We have so many large bare spots. The company has not attempted to correct the problem. Our final bill was even incorrect.

  • We were very pleased with their work. You can't tell the tree was ever there. Came when they said they would come, carefully moved items near (and under) the downed tree, cleaned up the yard, very smooth from start to finish.

  • I was very impressed with the work.  Tim answered the phone when I called for an estimate, and he came over in a matter of 2 hours.  The price he gave me was very reasonable.  They came to do the work 2 days later and the yard looked fantastic!  They also did all the work in about 2 hours.  The yard hasn't looked that good in years!  Tim was very professional, and the work was done quickly.  He did everything I asked at a good price.  I would highly recommend them to anyone needing yard work done.  I will definitely call Belle City again!

  • I called to schedule an appointment and the person indicated that the other estimator was out for the week, so the appointment was made for 10 days later.  I was set to meet with the estimator, and 30 minutes before the appointment, he called to cancel.  He said that he had overbooked for the day.  He said he could come out 2 days later, but since I had waited for 10 days for the appointment anyway, I was not happy.  He said he would call the next day, and possibly come out then for the estimate.  He didn't call.  I hired another company.

  • Company was very prompt in responding to my purchase of the Angie's List Deal.  They responded faster than required.  Appointment was scheduled at time it was convenient for me - and was also very fast.  Fred Hoppe was most informant and was very patient with all my questions.  I was excited to learn that I would not lose a Poplar tree that I was worried about.  We checked out a number of trees/bushes and Fred was educational (some things I knew, some things I didn't) and we agreed on treatment of my ASh trees and a few pieces of trim work/bush removal that should be completed in winter/spring.  What I really appreciated was Fred gave advice to me regarding some smaller trees - and showed me work/trimming I could do myself (I did not feel like it was just a sales job).  Company has subsequently come out (less than a week after the analysis appointment) and performed first ash tree treatment - a treatment to protect the trees until the most protective treatment can take place in June.  All-in-all a very good experience.  I won't hesitate at all to have them do the trimming and future ash treatment.

  • I called this company as I they had ground down/removed 7 stumps and cut down/ground down/removed stumps on 2 additional small trees on my property in July 2012. One of the trees cut down was a red flowering crab tree. As Summer 2013 progressed, I was noticing more and more tree shoots coming up in my yard and my neighbors yard. Some of the tree shoots were as much as 15 feet away. I called AAA Tree Service to inquire on what we needed to do to stop tree shoots - I have been spraying the shoots with Roundup, but just more and more shoots keep coming up. I called AAA Tree Service three times (9/3/13, 9/5/13 and 9/13/13) and the same young woman answered the telephone and responded that she would pass on my message and phone number to Steve, the arborist. With the call on 9/13/13, I even stated to the young woman that if Steve was too busy with other jobs, would they have any other arborist in the area that they could recommend. She assured me that she would have Steve call me by the end of the day (I had called at 9:20am). It is now 9/22/13 and I have received no phone call from Steve or the company. Very discouraging and disappointing.

  • Had some miscommunication over the weekend but the sales person arrived monday and gave us a quote right on the spot. We had to call the office a few times to see when the crew was actually going to arrive. Crew arrived at 1030 wednesday and worked till the job was done and cleaned up. They had all the big machines needed for the job. Good two man crew. I would use these same two guys in the future if they ate still with the company. I am not sure how many crews are in this Company.

  • Job went as planned.
When I came home after work it was all done and looked great.
three perennials died about 60 days later and they not only replaced them promptly but gave me a few extra.
Very professional in the work and communications to the office.

  • To make a long story short the seeding and weed and feed did nothing for my lawn. I tried again in May because the weed control they had previously done did nothing. They came out an did the weed control again.... no weeds died. I called and talked to Paul and told him I was not satisfied. They also billed me $61.48. I called again and talked to Paul...he said he would not bill and I ended my relationship with them.

I would not recommend them to anyone.

FYI - I just a bill in the mail today 7/26/13.....the one that Paul said he would remove ........ so I get to call them again!

  • It went great. They are very nice.  I've had trouble getting good black dirt, and they are local so it really helps.  We brought our own truck and they loaded it with a backhoe.  She is a very pleasant person to talk with.  I have been recommending them to everyone that talks about gardening.
