We could not be happier with Bath and Kitchen Specialists. They were extremely polished, professional and customer-oriented. Work was done on time and on budget. The two-man team that worked on our bathroom were a joy to have around our home. They kept us informed of everything going on, were friendly and were very respectful of our privacy. I would highly recommend Bath and Kitchen Specialists for your bathroom remodeling project.

From start to finish we could not be more pleased with the professionalism and quality of the work provided by Bath and Kitchen Specialists It began with the conceptual stage where the experienced, and very patient, lead designer Kim worked hard with us to get the design of the master bath the way we had envisioned it. Kim took detailed notes of our preferences and noted the room specifications, then returned in a week with the schematic. She was very open to modifying the plan and that was a big help. After settling on a design, the next step was "the Decorate". This was an intensive 12 hours over a day and half where we chose tiles, mirrors, fixtures etc. It took so much time because the amount of deign possibilities is staggering. And of course Kim was there helping and offering suggestions all the way. We really appreciated that the final proposal was clearly itemized in a step by step (71 items in our instance) fashion. Kim clearly and thoroughly explained each and every charge and was very knowledgeable of building codes and what could, and could not be done. There were no surprise charges or fees when the job was completed. The actual work was done by their experienced two man crew. Both men were extremely courteous, prompt, professional and worked the entire day, each and every day. Their level of craftsmanship was amazing and we feel the results are stunning. They worked very hard to make the work as non-invasive as possible. What we really appreciated, was that they showed up when they said they would, and completed the job on time. We would highly recommend their services again.

They measured, gave estimate and installed(took 3 weeks to get the glass) our master shower glass enclosure.

Everyone we worked with was professional, easy to work with and punctual.

    l.  The only problem we have is that we feel we payed a premium for the glass enclosure, but there is no way

of telling how to grade the glass and how the enclosure is made before you order it.  Couldn't get ourselves to go with a

large warehouse store for the master bath.  It turned out to be a stunner and have had many good comments on it.

The only problem I had is they got some glue on our brand new rectangular floor tile, which I was compensated for. It

was hard work to remove the glue and stain but it did eventually come out.

Tom was fantastic to deal with. Always prompt. Always working. Pleasant and congenial. I just wish all contractors were like Tom. He basically rebuilt our entire bathroom, except for the tub, all by himself. Materials were $7,500 and Tom's fee was roughly $4,500 (includes some materials he supplied) for almost an entire month's worth of work. The quality and detail of Tom's work was great. Both my wife and I are extremely happy with our new and beautiful bathroom.

Next year, we will have a kitchen project and we will use Tom again, 100% guaranteed. Cannot speak highly enough about Tom as a person and more so, for the quality of his work.

We asked for an estimate of 3 things that we needed done at our home. We were given quotes for the three jobs. We opted for two repairs, but not the third because of the price. When they called to set up an appointment to put in the window and didn't mention the screen, I asked about it and was told that we had asked for separate estimates and would be notified when the screen came in and it would be a separate job. I then asked why we couldn't have both jobs done at the same time, and was told because they didn't have a place to store the window. We had assumed the two jobs would be done in one service call, however, it was done on two different calls, and we were charged service, delivery, and labor changes on both.
We felt this was deceptive business practice, and if we had been told that each job would be considered independent of the others and we would have to pay for an additional delivery and service charge, we would have called someone else. To make matters worse, the service man was 55 mins late for the appointment time for the screen.
Although we are happy with the work, we are very disappointed in feeling we were taken advantage of and that our business was not appreciated.

They were fine. They took a little while to get back to our request and their estimate was more than triple other local glass providers. We ultimately selected a different provider and were very happy with the results.

I called National Glass and the man I talked to said when I described my problem (someone fell into the door and pulled the anchors
out of the tile wall) that he wasn't sure if they could fix it and if they could it would cost about $150.  I said okay, I need the door, so please come over.  Awhile later, Ron, the owner, called me back and said he would be over soon.  He looked at the door - said it was
    an easy fix. . .
And he fixed it.  He took the door off the hinges completely, put new anchors in the tile and rehung the door.  It works as good as it
ever did when it was installed 20 years ago.
He charged me $65.00.   A Bargain.  I expected to pay 150 because of what the man said on the phone.  No trip charge.  No gas upcharge.  Nothing.  Just plain ol' fashioned great, prompt service from a very nice honest man who I would recommend to anyone.

    Glass Pro Inc
My experience with them was very good. I had spent four years trying to get this window replaced. It went all the way from $1700 because I was quoted for having both windows replaced. One company quoted me a price for replacing the glass in both windows for $1700 because one window had the seal broken. Also because it's a Low-E glass the color of the windows would not be the same. For $1700 I decided that I could probably have the whole door replaced. I went round and round with several contractors and the problem is that it's an oversized door and the quotes for new doors went from $2000 up to $7000. I had decided to try putting in French doors and that didn't work. I found a sticker on my basement window for a company that I thought may have put the original windows in the house when I built it. It was not their windows, but they did refer to two contractors and I got them both out here. One was going to sell me new doors for $2500. They asked me to call Glass Pro and they can replace just the glass in the one window. Glass Pro came out and said that I didn't need new doors. I called them and got a quote from them for approximately $400 and at the time I was also having problems with the front window. They took a look at that and they could replace the whole window for $300 or $400. They did an excellent job. They were fast, very reasonable and did very good work. I can highly recommend them. I would definitely use them in the future.

    Bob Lurie Glass Corp
I called a number of glass companies for this exact piece of glass (23 inch diameter round glass, 3/8 inch thick). The quotes were $120, $140, $118 (available in 1-2 weeks). Then, I called Bob Lurie Glass and they said $60 plus tax (and available in 3-4 business days). I ordered the glass. A few hours later, I called back to make sure I gave them the right dimensions (to make sure it wasn't too good to be true) Sure enough, Debbie reassured that they got the right measurements and quoted me the right price. If anyone asks me where to get glass and mirrors, I'll send them to Bob Lurie Glass every time!!
