    Fitchburg Hometown Pharmacy
The man is nothing but customer service. He is so good with his clients. My husband recently passed away and Tadd, the owner of the pharmacy, came to our house at 10:00 on a Sunday night to bring medication that my husband had ordered. He is just over and above, always. He always beats everybody's price.

University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics
Went for diagnoses and tests too numerous to mention for degenerative, age-related illnesses.  The stress of these visits was greatly ameliorated by my confidence in the quality of the care which repeated interactions with the system inspired.

    Group Health Cooperative

The eye doctor was great but I don?t know his name. My wife has taken yoga classes there before and the teacher was very, very good. They offer alternative medicine as well as regular Western medicine, which is good, because we think that?s a nice mix so people can remain healthy and they?re not just focused on treating you after you get sick. So, we appreciate that about the clinic.

    Physicians Plus Insurance Corp
My doctor was good. I've been using them for probably twenty years. It is the one that my company offered; we only have a choice of one. My primary care is very good but they don't have a lot of specialists.

    Group Health Cooperative
A lot of the services are available through them. I love my health insurance. They're great. They get me into appointments quickly. They offer a lot of complimentary health features like massage therapy. I get $100 if I join a community that supported the agricultural share. I'm reimbursed for my gym membership. It's their wellness reimbursement. If you try to improve you health in any way, they'll support you with the cost. It's really nice. I've never waited more than 15 minutes to get into my appointment. They're really nice. I've been using them for 4 years.

GROUP HEALTH COOPERATIVE OF SOUTH CENTRAL WI
All of the doctors I have seen are very good. It is one of the best insurance companies out there. Their pharmacy costs are very low. They take care of the patient and do not try to push things if not necessary.

    Dean Health Plan Inc
I've been going to doctors at Dean Clinic since I moved here 1.5 years ago. My internist, OB-GYN and dermatologist all seem very knowledgeable and thorough. My only complaint was how they coded my blood work. I had trouble getting insurance to pay but once the billing dept coded it correctly, insurance paid.

    Dean Health System
I began using the Dean Clinic East for general and ongoing health issues (it was closest to my work). I was always able to get an appointment in a timely manner, never had to wait more than 10-15 minutes to see the doctor. I did have to wait for a skin specialist at one point and for an appointment to see a mental health provider, but that didn't seem to be out of the ordinary compared to other providers. I was always satisfied with the doctors and the service I received. After a while I changed to the Oregon clinic--I was very satisfied with everything there. Everyone was courteous; they always got me in and out right away. The simplicity of one system worked very well for me--I never had to worry about filling out papers for reimbursement or permission. When I needed a prescription, a mammogram, or any other type of test or service, it was pretty seamless.

    Gulf, Dr. Humana
This form isn't really set up for rating health insurance plans so I will just say what I think is important.
The Advantage plans cover everything not covered by Medicare, including drugs. They don't pay everything, but co-pays are $10 for reg visits and $35 for specialists.
Their mail order drug plan was good until a few weeks ago when it went down... Cannot get a straight answer about when they might be back up! Troubling!
Their supplemental dental and eye coverages are OK. But mostly good for everyday stuff like exams, cleanings fillings and eyeglasses. Don't think you'll get years of deferred dental care.. I.e crowns, implants... You won't.
    Not sure of the future for advantage plans, they appear to be somewhat endangered by the and quot;Affordable Care Actand quot;
Will update all this when the next enrollment period runs around... 4th quarter.

    Meriter Health Services
The labor and delivery unit at Meriter is newly remodeled and looks great. One of the nicest things is that each room is equipped with a labor tub. I felt the staff communicated well with each other, especially when things went very quickly just before delivery. And the staff also asked me what my wishes for labor were and helped me to have a great birth experience! My postpartum nurses were great also. They were eager to help in any way but also respected my privacy and gave me ample time to bond with my new son. The nurses are well taught in providing breastfeeding assistance. The best thing was that they gave me time to slowly introduce my son to breastfeeding. They didn't try to force him on the breast; there wasn't an urgency that I felt after I delivered my first child (in another state). And I think this really helped us to have a much better breastfeeding experience. I have also had to call the Meriter billing department many times since my son's delivery. My claim had to be reprocessed several times (due to system errors with the insurance company) and each time I've called I've spoken to very pleasant individuals. They keep detailed notes of each time you call so you don't need to always reexplain yourself and they can also give you details on what they have done as far as calling insurance themselves.
