  • I had several pieces of furniture to move that I couldn't do myself. Eli, Quen and Jackson arrived at the scheduled time, moved everything smoothly, including large items, and thru a rainy day. They were not only great professionally, but very polite too. It just stings to pay the full rate for their drive from the company to the job site, but I guess that how it goes. Nevertheless, I'll hire them again in a heartbeat!

  • This company is great. Their call center is in Florida- which at first I was bit concerned about , as my move was in the Milwaukee area. But it really was not an issue. I just needed a hutch and buffet moved from a u-haul into my condo. I was called ( as promised ) before they arrived ( and even were able to come early, but were fine to come at the scheduled time. The 3 guys - Andre, Raymone and NIck were polite and professional, and careful in moving my items. The name of the company is unusual, along with the call center in Florida- but this is a great moving service. There was excellent communication, and was able to get hold of someone in the call center quickly. Great service at a good price.

  • This is an update to my recent review:

    We had flooring going in at the same time we moved, so we weren't able to get to our furniture or set anything up for a few days later. 

    When we did go to set things up, there was a substantial amount of damage to my furniture. My kitchen table (which is brand new) is a java color and it was scratched so bad the finish was removed from 3 of the 4 corners and some of the legs. They broke my shoe shelves completely and didn't tell me, and also the back leg of one of my dressers. 

    We reached out to them and they said submit a claim to their email address at or We did to both. We finally had to call before we were responded to. Then they said they would have a furiture repair person come out and they scheduled it for this past Friday (2/12/16) between 10am and noon. I was home all day and no one came or even called to cancel. We called and got no answer from the company so just left a message. We still havent gotten a call back from the company and tried to reach out to them again.

    This is just poor service. The moving men were nice, but they damaged my stuff and the company is liable for this. Be careful what you sign when you show up, they tried to get me to sign off that they CAN damage my stuff and get away with it. We tipped all 3 movers 40 bucks each on top of the overages even though it though they miss judged our moving load.

    I am so disappointed at this level of service. I can understand making mistakes, but to ignore the customer all together after someone was supposed to come out and fix the furniture they ruined, is unacceptable. I will be filling out a report on them because my items are damaged beyond repair and I STILL have not heard back from the company. We moved over 2 weeks ago. I will never hire them again.. and I hope if you risk them, you wrap your own furiture well.

    The movers were nice and speedy. They arrived on time and worked the
    entire time until everything was done. My only complaint of the moving
    guys, was they damage my brand new dining room table very badly. It
    happens to be a dark mocha/espresso color and  some out they scratched
    the finish off one of the corners. It is probably about 1/4 inch wide
    scrape that now shows down to the light pine wood. This is not something
    i take lightly, and they barely used furniture protection coverings as
    they were supposed to. I will be calling to complain about the damage to
    my table.
    The other complaint is about the estimation of time. This is not the
    movers fault. I walked through each room and explained the items i have.
    The original estimator, said it would take 2 guys and 3 hours. I felt
    that estimate was a bit optimistic, but then again, i don't move
    furniture for a living and i am not a "speedymen" mover. I realized i
    forgot about the garage, and called back to tack on another hour to the
    quote and to give more time for the movers.
    When i was called to verify the service, i had to go through all my
    items again to say what i had and needed. Even-though i had already done
    this with the original estimator. It was rather annoying, but i guess i
    was partially glad it was done, since the gentleman on the phone said 2
    movers and 4 hours was not enough. He then added a mover and an
    additional hour to the time slot. When all was done, the movers STILL
    went over 2 hours and we ended up having to pay $250 above the original
    estimate. I know this is not an easy thing to estimate, but 2 hours over
    and at a higher rate, was not what we expected.
    I dont think i will use speedymen again, mostly because of the damage,
    and too much of the unknown. I do want to point out, the men were nice,
    polite and in fact "speedy", but the damage, cost and estimate were just
    not something i would want to deal with again.

    Update on professionalism: I just realized they overcharged us. They had me put a deposit of $150 when i booked their service, and when my husband went to pay, they quoted me a total that was minus the deposit i didn't even pay yet. I am so glad we talked about it, and realized what they did. This is just poor business. I definitely wont hire them again. 

    Also called about the damaged furniture, they offered no discount. They just told us to fill out a claim and then they would send someone out to repair the items. They better bring magic with them, because I don't see the damage being repaired to 100%.

  • Everything went without a hitch. Each time, the team arrived on schedule and finished prepping and packing ahead of schedule. They were organized and understood that items were going to 4 different locations. They were very neat and courteous.   All siblings received all their items (furniture/paintings/breakables/antiques) in perfect condition and on a timely basis.With regard to the city move - everything went smoothly and with minimal disruption.  Although price was a little higher than competitors, we received a discount after the first move and all moves were handled very well.

  • I thought the move went well until I discovered my king mattress was ripped along the side that was dragged bottom down.I showed it to the movers as it was delivered. In addition, my electric bidet toilet was broken due to improper handling and packing. I have contacted the company and spoke to the owners Dave and Jim Brittain. After explaining that I had damage and wanted someone to come to inspect, repair or replace the items, Jim told me by e mail that he no longer was involved in the family moving business. I spoke to his brother Dave who told me he was in charge of claims and he said he would investigate, however, several weeks have passed and no one has responded. Dave is always unavailable to answer my phone calls and has not returned the five messages I have left explaining the complaint I have. When Jim Brittain and I arranged for the move, I was under the impression I had insurance coverage in case of anything damage. Apparently this isn't the case and Eagle Movers refuses to acknowledge any liability. I have ordered a new bidet which cost $599.00 and have a ripped, dirty mattress which needs to be repaired or replaced.
    I would recommend not to use Eagle Movers if you want to trust that your personal belongings are safe. It is unfortunate that anything got damaged, however the worst thing is when you find out you have been taken and have no recourse.

  • In the end, it worked out fairly well. The definite pro of Graebel is how I felt that they worked very well with us in the end to resolve any problems as far as any missing or damaged items. The items they packed themselves, they did a really good job. This is our second move with Graebel. The first move was a lot better and was done faster. However, compared to moving with other companies, I would say they are by far the best. Overall, I would definitely recommend them.

  • The deliver crew was careless to say the least. I noted the problems on the "home deliver customer service report and ASP" form. I spoke to Chris in customer service the following week and she assured me that if I got a repair estimate to fix and clean the damage, that Anchor Moving would pay for it. I did just that with a local vendor named Blue Green. The cost was $125 + tax and Chris at Anchor Moving was given the estimate in advance and agreed to pay it. She is their customer service manager, after all. She stated the check was being processed. It is now January 30, 2013 and NO CHECK HAS BEEN RECEIVED despite repeated calls to Chris and her telling me that the check was "in processing." I'm a business owner and it doesn't take very long to process a check. I have already had the work done to clean the home as I have small children but this company is responsible for the cleanup costs. Please assist in effecting the proper results.

  • Throughout the entire 12+ hour move I felt confident and informed.  They were punctual, professional, flexible and courteous.  These men did not stop moving the entire day.  My hat is off to them for an outstanding job.  I would highly recommend them and we will definitely use SpeedyMen if we ever need moving services again.

  • They could have held my stuff in the warehouse in Chicago while I was waiting for my home in Nevada but no one ever made a suggestion to let me store my stuff in their warehouse so I had to pay for a storage facility. Your're dealing with two or three moving services with them.
