House Painting reviews in Eau Claire

Probably called at least a dozen painters for this. Only two returning my call and actually providing a quote. Chad was very responsive, reasonable price, efficient, and the work quality was good. I would hire them again.

Briab is very easy to work with.  He, unlike several other painting contractors we called, responded right away and gave us a bid soon after. He came to paint our porchwithin days (in unseasonably warm early spring weather) and 2 days later it snowed!  He was back before I even called to check for damage and to re-paint where needed.  He was prompt, responsive, and pleasant.  We will have him do more work!

Did a great job! Shane was very friendly and professional. Very reasonable price, and totally upfront about pricing and payment. Very knowledgeable about painting.  I would be happy to hire him again.

Brian did a great job.  He was prompt.  He did what he said he'd do.  He pressure washed the house and garage before painting.  He scraped where paint needed to be scraped.  He cleaned up after he was done.  He spray painted the house and garage.  They both look great.  AND he did all the painting in one day!

I would love to give them a recommendation. They were wonderful. They did an excellent job. In fact, they painted more than I asked. They not only painted but there were a couple of boards that were loose, they made sure those were secured and did an excellent job. They actually finished it in one day. They told me the price would be between $500 to $600 and I paid them $600. I would absolutely use their services again in the future.

The Premium Painting crew did an awesome job!  They were on time as scheduled and finished on time also.  The quality was excellent and the price was equally excellent.  I would highly recommend Caleb and all his crew!!

John stopped out and gave me a bid within a day or two.  We agreed on a price and he quickly set to work to complete the project quickly, allowing for drying time and so on.  He made sure I was satisfied with the work - which I was! - and I offered to pay him on the spot.   This is the second time John has done work for me and I would highly recommend him to others!

They were punctual, trustworthy, professional and tidy. John is clearly a perfectionist who is honest and hardworking. He honors his word and shows up when he says he will. He wants the job done right and my porch is clear evidence. It's the first time I've used him but it won't be the last. I'd recommend him to anyone. He built me a new porch in a matter of days, despite the rain and it's a work of art!! There should be more contractors like Merritt Construction.

We signed an agreement with a man named Brian who at the time was Dan's partner. The agreement was to have our carpet replaced using a moisture barrier pad, to have the exterior of our home painted and to have our driveway repaired. The carpet was to run $1,155, the paint $1,790 and the driveway $1,960. We paid for the carpet in full and paid $2,000 up front towards the other two jobs. This company was on Menards' contractor list so we made the poor assumption that they were reputable. Big mistake! The next day we get a call from Brian stating that he is no longer Dan's partner. He stated that he would do the work anyway and go to the bank on his own to make sure he got his payment. The next day the carpet was installed but he installed the cheapest pad rather than the moisture barrier pad agreed upon. This was a difference of $175 which Brian agreed to reimburse us for. It turns out Brian was taking more than his share out of the company bank account and essentially stealing from some of his customers. Dan had him put in jail. Dan then met with us and said he would make this right (which he is legally obligated to do since both checks were made out to his business). We told him we were no longer with the company and wanted a reimbursement of the $2,000 that had been paid for services not yet rendered and of the $175 for the carpet pad difference. He said that he couldn't reimburse us the funds because they had been withdrawn by Brian. After a long song and dance including him telling us he felt both morally and legally obligated to make this right, how he was a good church going man a long established contractor with a reputation to uphold, we agreed to have him paint the house. This helped him as he wouldn't be out a full $2,000 in reimbursement which was "apparently" taken from his account. When we made this agreement we made it very clear that we weren't paying anything extra for this job and that Brian had agreed to paint the house using 2 coats if necessary (we even paid extra for paint to ensure he could do 2 coats) and to sand the bottom of both garage doors as they were a bit beat up. Half way into the job, after the first coat was mostly applied (very thinly and quickly I might add) Dan comes back and says that if we want the 2nd coat we need to pay him an additional $850. I told him no, that wasn't our agreement. He refused to budge. I then told him, fine, pay me back the $210 difference in the contracted $1790 price and the $2000 we paid up front. He refused saying "well we already did 2 coats on the trim so I dont owe you any reimbursement." Dan is just as bad as his crooked partner. Even worse, he hides behind the front of being an honest Christian man. Don't get involved with this company or this individual. It will be the worst contracting experience you've ever had. What a mess!!!!!!!!!! We are filing a claim and will see Dan in court. We have also given statements to help keep Brian in jail and hopefully put him in prison for a long time as well.
