Door Installation reviews in Eau Claire

    Liberty Exteriors
It went well and was under full lifetime warranty. After year we received a letter that the door we purchased was going bankrupt and our door did not have a lifetime guarantee. It is in court but I would like to think Liberty would back up their word and if our door needs replacement that they would with some other choice. I understand labor is not included.

When I first called Pat, he recommended buying a quality door that would last us for the life of our house.  After the door arrived, he was able to come over in a couple of days to install.  He was efficient, friendly, and did good quality work.  I am very pleased with the outcome and we no longer have a leaky door!  I'm glad I spent a few hundred more for a good door with good installation.

We once again are 100% pleased with the service provided by Tru-Lock.  They  arrived "on time" and did a perfect job of installing our new fiberglass door and frame.  They are total "experts" at everything they do.

    Asher Lasting Exteriors
I ordered the windows and doors in April, 2014 with the understanding that they would be installed right after July 4, 2014. Asher's had internal communication problems and didn't start until mid August. There were problems with wrong stain color on one large glider window. It needed to be remade. There was an octagon window that was made incorrectly and needed to be remade (this was an Anderson Window fault but wasn't caught by Asher's). The project that was supposed to be done by mid July didn't complete until November!! Mick (the installer) is very good! That is one good thing Asher has going for them. Chad Asher had agreed to a $500 reduction in my final payment. When I got the final bill it was rounded down to $491!! He couldn't even honor his word.

Great experience with these guys! Setting up the initial meeting was easy, and the work was able to be scheduled for just a few days later. Work included removing the interior trim (was able to do it without damaging either the wall or trim), removing a storm door, removing the old aluminum wrap and brickmolding, removing the old door and frame, adding some insulation below the threshold and installing a new piece of wood across the threshold (since nothing was under the old frame), installing my new entry door, installing my new door hardware, and installing new aluminum wrap over the brickmolding. Everything was adequately sealed and insulated, and the installer kept any mess to a minimum. He even had some very useful tips for when I decide to paint the door. There were a couple unexpected things that popped up (as does happen with older homes) but the installer was able to adapt easily and get things done the right way. Though this did cause the work to take longer than expected, they honored the contract we had signed and did not charge anything additional. Both Steve (who I set up the work with) and Casey (who did the work) were very professional and friendly--really enjoyable to work with. I will definitely contact again for some other projects I have on the horizon!

Blue Hills Roofing & Construction LLC
We received a number of bids from all the most well known companies in town. Blue Hills Roofing stood head and shoulders above all of them. Steven's knwoledge and professionalism was second to none. We learned so much about our project, we had no idea there was so much to this type of work. Steven the owner explained it in easy to understan terms. The work was done to a high standard of quality and all the workers seemed very good at their jobs. They cooperated well and really seemed to enjoy their work. The clean up was great...our yard was cleaner when they left than before they started. They were always availible and very accomidating to any questions or concerns we had. By far the most professional and knowledgable company we delt with in any of our past and present endeavors. If you are doing exterior remoldeling especially roofing you are really missing the boat if you don't call these guys. Thank you.

Replacing windows required more work than was anticipated. Provider asked for more money than contracted for to cover his costs. I recognized the problem and agreed to pay an additional amount.
The installation was well done. the finish work ie painting around the trim was terrible..Paint was everywhere. THis problem has yet to be addressed.

Luke was awesome! West-central Wisconsin has been hit with an unusually harsh late Winter amount of snow. I just couldn't handle it anymore. I called him upon a recommendation of my roofer, Brandon James, of Integrity Roofing in Eauu Claire. Luke was here within the day and not only cleaned up my driveway, and infront of the mailbox and the corner sidewalk, but hand-shoveled the full sidewalk! More than I could have hoped for. He will be on my list to call, once the snow has melted, for several other home improvement projects. I could not possibly give him a more positive review!

I think they could have paid a little more attention to detail. Like making sure, the surface was smooth before they painted. Their price was good. They could have been more careful about covering up. There is some over spray from the paint. I will use them again. It looks good, but, if I rub my hand over it, it is rough.

Overall, I was very pleased with the work done. I love the new doors (beautifully matched and installed), the living room paint job (neat and fast work), the shed (very sturdy), the storage room shelves (they're huge for suitcases and holiday decorations), and the outside metal door (I appreciate how you reinforced the door frame and made the door much more stable than the old one--nicely done).
