    Found T J 's on Angie's List, was local with excellent reviews and gave him a call. Returned my call within 2 hours, made an appointment for next morning between 10:00 - 12:00, arrived at 9:55. He quickly found the problem, fixed it, tested it and all is well. VERY PLEASED, personable, efficient, professional, reasonably priced, could not ask for more.

    Jeff, the owner of Jay Appliance, is a very friendly and meticulous serviceman with great attention to detail, who is really committed to giving great service. He was quick to answer any questions not only about what he was doing, what was wrong, and what he would have to do to fix it, but also questions such as what were the best appliances on the market. Quite honestly he was just a fun and pleasant guy to deal with. When I first called him and explained my problem, he gained my trust when he told me that there was a slight possibility that the problem could be in the compressor and/or liquid freon system and that he didn't work on those. He understood if I wanted to call someone else that could work on the compressor as he would have to charge me a service call just to diagnose the problem, a cost I could avoid by calling someone else. I appreciated his feedback but chose to bring him in anyway because of his past ratings on Angie's list. After he arrived, he disassembled most of the inside of the refrigerator and immediately diagnosed the problem but still did tests to confirm his diagnosis. He then thawed the coils with a steam sprayer and pointed out the damage to the plastic liner that had been done when a previous serviceman used a heat gun to do the same thing. He gave us a price to fix the problem, which we agreed to, and then ordered the parts from his distributor. One of the parts was out of stock so it had to be overnighted from Minneapolis to Milwaukee. He cleaned up and left but came back the next day just after noon which was much sooner than we had originally anticipated due to the part being flown in. He quickly removed the old and reinstalled the new parts and reassembled the refrigerator. He gave us an explicit bill showing each and every charge right down to the times he was at our house (he didn't charge travel time+++). He even asked if I had printed the coupon from Angie's list, which I had forgotten about, for the discount. We thought the price was very fair but it would have been less had it not been necessary to thaw out the coils, so take that into account if you are looking at comparative prices. I was sure to get his card as I would not hesitate to call him again.

    Had very good experiences with them.  They worked very well with my home warranty company, so I only had to pay the $75.00 deductible vs. the actual costs. He literally took apart my washing machine piece by piece until he found the problem.  He then ordered the necessary parts and came back and replaced the parts, fixing the washing machine to full working status.  Yes I would use them again.

    The serviceman came promptly at the appointed time, examined the dishwasher thoroughly and determined it to be a hopeless case.  He stated we could continue using it until it fully died if we didn't mind the noise.  He was very friendly, knowledgeable, and informative, giving us information on a possible reliable replacement.  Our dishwasher died completely one week later.  We were only charged a service call fee of $45.00 which we considered very reasonable especially considering he pulled the whole thing out and throughly examined it.  We wouldn't hesitate to call  Lake Country Repair for any future appliance problems.

    Called Major and Minor Appliance Repairs on a Monday, and Ernest, the company owner, was able to come out the following Tuesday morning. Ernest had repaired our washing machine about five years before this, so we knew what to expect from him. He was right on time and took the time to explain what he was doing. The price was very reasonable. We'd certainly hire him again for other appliance repair.

    Repeated phone calls have not been answered. We gave them a $200 deposit on the 16th of January, 2008. They have given us two dates (both Mondays) saying they would be at our house in the morning, but were No-Shows both times. Now they are not returning our calls. Other than calling to say the part was in and cashing our check nothing has happened.
