    Alive Maintenance LLC
Dave Pagan was fast with the quote and scheduled me in right away. Good work and reasonably priced. (I spoke with two other companies on the phone. Dave was by far the most professional sounding as well as the most accommodating.I would highly recommend Alive Maintenance.

    Rhino Shield
We were very happy with it. The guy came in and we talked about the process they go through and their warranties and everything. Then he went out and did a measurement of the house, he came back in and we talked about pricing and came to an agreeable amount. Now, just hopefully the rest will go that smooth. They did not charge for the estimate. They were out here within a couple of days of contacting them. They were on time. If the work they do is as good as the quoting, then I would use them again, but until that happens, I can't answer the question of if I would use them again. If the quality is what they say it is, it will be an excellent value. I chose to use them because my sister-in-law recommended them. They were able to produce a lot of different information showing they did a lot of this type of work and received good reviews on it.

    Grunts For Hire LLC
Chad is the owner and he did the work himself. His estimated were reasonable and he had good grades on Angies list. I hired him to complete several odd jobs and he was punctual and the work performed was exceptional. I will hire again when needed.

    ABC Painting
ABC painting did a great job!  They were friendly, professional, and it was a very positive experience dealing with them from beginning to end.   I will definitely call them for any future painting projects I may have in the future.

    Jordan Painting LLC
From the beginning I requested multiple times, a written contract with product names, product amount, and how the product would be applied. He would not give that to me. He was continuously running around telling me that we will take care of you and to not worry. The day he came out to start the project, he gave me a piece of paper with the amounts of the product but not the name of the product; not a professional contract, which I had requested multiple times. When I finally had a chance to look at the plastic container of the waterproofing product (which was after they had already finished applying the product) it states that the first two coats of the product must be painted or rolled on or there will not be a guarantee that the finished product would be waterproof. I hired him to completely waterproof and paint the exterior of the building to prevent any damage. It has been an awful experience. It has been a hassle getting them to complete the work, and it has been extremely difficult working with him. He was very condescending when I called to check on the project. He was supposed to give me receipts for the work, which he never provided. He billed me for 40 gallons of product. Originally, he said he needed 30 gallons. He called me back and said that was an underestimate and said he needed $350 more for 10 more gallons. I kept asking for a contract, but he refused to bring one of those, either.  I wanted a receipt for the name of the product and the amount used, which I need for future projects and he would not provide it. He was supposed to come out on a Friday, and showed up the next Monday. When they did the work, some of their paint got on my freshly done asphalt. After I'd paid him for the work, he brought an empy plastic container of the waterproof primer that he had used. It says on the container that it needs two coats applied with a brush or roller, which it wasn't. All product was sprayed on. None of it was rolled on. I asked Scott to come back out and Rick rolled the paint over the south wall to fill in the holes. I complained about the work, and he said that he wasn't coming back. He told me that I should have gone out to check the label on the can before the project started. The work has definitely not been completed to my satisfaction. He had 2 empty paint cans at the site that were made for wood, which was not what he was painting. When I asked about those, he said that he brought them to hold down the canvas. (I don't see how they would hold down the canvas empty as they wouldn't be heavy enough.) He was unprofessional and I was very disappointed with the work. He told me if I wanted more work done, I would have to have him come back out to do more estimates on labor and product to have the job done how I had originally requested. The painter, Rick, that did the last wall (employee of Jordan Painting) offered to come back for free labor if Scott didn't approve it, but gave me a bogus number. Rick agreed that the walls needed additional coverage to meet the agreement, but I wasn't able to get in touch with him.

    Colorfield Painting LLC
I had several contractors bid out to paint the exterior of my house. In the end, I decided to go with Colorfield Painting. A lot had to
do with Matthew taking the time to talk to me, get to know what I liked and my personality to help me pick out colors for the house. He was always professional, punctual, and efficient. Every night he clean up and didnt leave his stuff lying around. All the prep/cleanup work he said he would do on his quote he did. He did such a nice job that I then hired him to also paint my dining room. Once again, he took the time to look at my personality and my furniture/accessories to help me pick out colors for the
room. With his help I have an awesome dining room.

    GE Contracting LLC
Shane and the other guys with GE Contraction were helpful, polite and kind.  They completed their work quickly and efficiently and wanted to make sure I was happy with it when they were done.  They also put some nails in siding pieces that hadn't fallen off, to make sure they wouldn't fall off in the future.  I was very happy with their work!

    Weather-Tite Exteriors
As I did not know who originally installed the siding on our house, I called Weather-Tite, whose name I got off of Angie's List.  I explained I was having a problem with a strip of siding, and the receptionist indicated Bruce would contact me about stopping by to look at the siding.   Bruce called within an hour and indicated he could stop by right away.  He had to climb up to the second story with a ladder he brought with him.   Bruce decided he could fix the problem right away by pushing the siding back into place all along the back of the house where it had popped out and by inserting some shims to hold it in place.   We were so happy that he could fix the problem on the spot.  He charged us what we felt was a very fair and minimal amount.  Bruce was very professional and friendly.   We will not hesitate to call him if we have either a siding or roofing problem in the future.

    Chevalier Masonry

Northstar Restoration found Matt for me as part of a bigger project. Matt came over and we looked at the windows and discussed the optimum solution to prevent future rainwater infiltration. The next morning I had an estimate in my email desribing exactly what we had discussed. I printed it out and signed my approval and Matt scheduled me for August 27th. He called that morning and said he wanted to postpone because of the forecasted rain. I agreed and yes, it did rain, so I was glad we did. They arrived two minutes early on the 28th, and were basically done by noon. I am very pleased with the results.
