    Everdry Waterproofing Wisconsin
Extremely well. My work was done around 2003! I am so thrilled I called Everdry Waterproofing. From the inspection to the crew and the completed job, all was done professionally and NEATLY! at a good price. All these years later I would still recommend this company. I pay the yearly service agreement of $25.00 and have only used it once when the dehumidifier unit was making noise. It was replaced at no charge and within 2 days of my call. The service agreement is passed to the next owner of my property and well worth the $25.00 a year. Not one drop of water and the mold never reappeared. Thank you Barb

    Southeast Construction LLC
I had a driveway and walkway replaced and couldn't be happier with their work. This was done for my 95 year old aunt in Cudahy and Phil and crew were VERY professional. Their attention to detail for a cement drive was very impressive...All joints were measured out to be evenly spaced, many measurement taken for accurate thickness, layout of new driveway was checked for squareness was most impressive. The 5 guys there worked very well together, no wondering what net steps were...all of the workers excellent and check his website for the great work they do...what you see is what you get...and very reasonably priced...I usually dont give reviews but Southeast Construction is the best...Gerry

    J & J General Contractors Inc
Dealing with Juan and Kathy (owners of J and J) was a nightmare. Very dishonest people. I requested an add on to the grill area before the work started. I asked how much it would be. They said "not that much more". They did not give me the additional cost until the ground was already dug up. It was almost $2000 more. Kathy kept telling me concrete had almost doubled in price. I could tell she was lying. I looked it up on the internet and called some local concrete distributors and was told that was not true. Concrete had only gone up 1-2% over the past yr. That was just the start of dishonesty with this company. After we came to a compromise over the cost of the addition there was the first attempted bate/switch with the PVC pipe. As his wife (Kathy) stood with the contract that clearly stated PVC pipe was to be used for the gutter extension, Juan started to use cheep corrugated plastic to extend my gutter to the ditch. When I called him on it, he acted like he was doing me a favor by stating "Oh, if you want PVC I can get you PVC!" When the concrete was finally poured there were rough deep groves in the finally quarter that they ran the broom over. I immediately complained so they could fix it as the concrete was still wet. I was told not to worry it would all blend together. that he had been doing this 35 yrs and gives a 3 yrs guarantee on his work. ( But he won't give it to you in writing.) . The patio section with the groves DOES NOT MATCH the rest of the patio and LOOKS DIRTY all the time. And I have to live with it because there is noting they can do NOW. After being told by them and other concrete experts that you CANNOT walk on fresh concrete for 24 hrs. They came back 17 hrs later, in the rain and ran a wheel barrow with heavy dirt over it.( I have a couple of grooves from the wheel barrow being run over the fresh concrete" Now Juan was saying, "You don't have to wait 24 hrs you can walk on it after 3 hrs" because he want to rush the job and get the dirt poured that day. I did not let them continue going over the fresh cement . They already left 2 lines from the wheelbarrow. When they did return to bring back the dirt they claim they took from my yard. The dirt was loaded with rocks, cement chunks, TONS of glass and a kitchen knife. Kathy kept saying that was my dirt and she was not going to replace it. Even after I called two landscaping company's in to look at the dirt and they stated "that dirt never came from your yard or anyone else's, that is was crap." . She still insisted it was my dirt and was not going to do anything about it. There was dirt that never left my yard that they used to cover the gutter extension. It was clean dirt. So to say the dirt they switched was mine was stupid! I was able to put a stop payment on the check before she could cash it. I told them when they replace that debris/glass filled with the dirt they took from my yard they would get paid. I got decent dirt. (NEVER WOULD HAVE GOTTEN IT IF I DIDN'T STOP PAYMENT ON THE CHECK). They got paid and I got my new gate bent by them. Horrible dishonest people. I started to carry my phone with me and started recording our conversation right after the lied about the cost of cement almost doubling. It seemed if their lips were moving they were not telling the truth. On my phone I have Juan talking about the 3 yr .guarantee, Kathy talking about coming to fix the gate, admitting they bent it and still insisting the dirt with the glass/debris was mine. I feel Juan and his wife Kathy thought because I was a senior dealing with them alone I would be an easy target to scam. There is so much more that went on but I did my best to keep this short. I HAVE PICTURES! I have recordings. Nothing else needs to be said.

    Bruce Dahlgren Construction LLC

I received 4 estimates for this project.  Bruce was in the middle with price, but I chose to go with him because he was very thorough and seemed to take pride in the work he did.  It took 2 days to complete the work.  Bruce was always present and involved.  We had an issue the first day: while breaking up the garage floor with a bobcat, part of the slab pushed against the foundation of the house and pushed the top row of foundation cinder blocks in about 1/2" inside the basement.  We were able to pound them back with a 2x4 and heavy hammer.  Other then this the rest of the work went smooth, and when finished looked good.

6 months later I noticed a crack in the middle of the driveway that extended through the middle of 4 slabs.  I also notice that the control joints in this area had not cracked like they were supposed to. I talked to another concrete contractor who did a similar project at a family members house and they figured that either the control joints were not deep enough or the base was not packed evenly.  I called Bruce on 6/2/2015 and informed him of the issue.  He stated that it was a cold winter and cracks happen, but would come down and look at it.  I have not heard from Bruce since that phone call.  Of the 3 neighbors that had their driveway done during the same time only mine has cracked in half and appears to be crumbling along the crack.  Pictures of the crack are attached below.

If I do hear from Bruce and find a solution to this I will update this review.

    Bruce Dahlgren Construction LLC
Bruce came out to give estimate and options on best forms to use.  He was professional and very engaging in process. His team came out and in under 2 days they did a terrific job of transforming our drive, sidewalk and patio.  We would highly recommend Bruce and his group - everything looks wonderful and they left the job site clean.  Can't say enough about how great they did!

We provided the contractor a deposit for a new door and when the door arrived, the contractor stated that Angie’s list wouldn’t pay him for months and that he’d probably not get the money so he wouldn’t deduct it from our final bill. Contractor said he has been ripped off by Angie’s list customers several times now.  Angie’s Lists’ big deal wasn’t and I’m very disappointed.

I took advantage of the Better Garage Door Service inspection package and based on Justin's findings and recommendations, had this company do the necessary work.  Their response time to contacting me, doing the inspection and follow-up work were awesome.  Justin explained the 25-point safety checklist and the required work.  The work was completed within the timeframe estimate immediately after the inspection.  Before leaving, Justin showed me where hinges/parts needed to be maintained twice a year to keep the garage door in good working order.  Alex made sure the area was cleaned after the repairs and was extremely courteous and helpful.
I was impressed with this company and the work completed.  Any future work required on my garage door  will be referred to this company.

    Reliable Lawn Care & Landscaping
I would rate them all 'A's. I have been with them since they started the company. I am very, very happy to have him with my lawn services and snow removal. His tune up is very good. He says what he is going to do and he does it in a fast, efficient and full of manners. If there is something that you want to add, he is happy to do it for you. He spent probably 3 or 4 hours here. He is regular out here.

    Guardian Landscaping
Not good at all.  He does not stand behind the quality of his work and is VERY slow to make repairs. I signed a contract with owner John Mandela on 5/26/14 to put a patio in my backyard. His crew left their daily food bags and drink cups for me to clean up after on a daily basis. After completion of job they left behind 2 empty skids and a broken wheel barrow for me to discard. They dumped excess concrete next to my garage and never discarded the 3 ft x 1 ft hardened concrete slab. There was concrete splatter on my white picket fence, garage & house aluminum siding that I had to clean up and remove.  The patio light power pack didn't work & had to be replaced along with a new light bulb and light cover for the patio in-ground lights.  He dug down approx.
18", poured a concrete slab & glued patio blocks on top of the concrete slab. He removed my old sidewalk and poured a new sidewalk. He finished the job by 6/28/14. On 7/28 I left Mr. Mandela a voice message as 3 of the patio blocks came unglued. I left another voice message on 7/31.  He returned my call on 7/31 and said he would come and fix the 3 loose patio blocks. I left him another voice message on 8/11 and 2 more voice messages on 8/13. He called back on 8/13 and said he would stop over on Thursday 8/14 to fix the loose patio bricks. He "supposedly" fixed the 3 loose patio bricks on 8/14. On 8/14 he also offered to seal my new sidewalk which I agreed to. On 8/17 I called him again as the patio bricks were loose again and advised him that when he sealed the new sidewalk he also sealed debris right into the new sidewalk. He stated he would have to come back & fix it & look at the sidewalk debris. On 9/2 I called him again, he said he would fix it the week of 9/7 and I haven't seen or heard from him since.
