"So impressed with
, great customer service from start to finish. I re-carpeted my whole house! The buying process was great, they gave" me options within my price range, they placed the order right away so I didn't have to wait for very long and the installation was fabulous too. They worked around my schedule, moved the furniture and put it back where they found it and they did the whole house in 2 days and cleaned up after themselves. Professional, friendly and exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend
were fabulous to work with!

"Way too pricey for my budget. I use the basement as utilitarian only and let the salesperson know that. I was told they don't use "cheap" materials." What I wanted was something decent that wouldn't break the bank. The salesperson said that carpet would be much more affordable, but carpet is the last thing I want in a basement that was one that flooded along with many others in Aug. of 2014. An entire basement of soaking wet, ruined carpet to try and haul out? No thanks.... I ended up doing epoxy on my floor and it looks great - no fuss, no
and the price fit the budget.

How to Choose the Right Carpet for Your Home

One highly rated provider shares important considerations homeowners should make when choosing the carpet for various rooms in their home.

Carpet and rugs

Wood or tile floors are good in some rooms, but most homeowners prefer to install carpeting in living rooms and family rooms, especially when children are small. Here are tips on the types of carpeting available and how to pick the right one for your home.

If you're looking for eco-friendly flooring, research the composition of the flooring, as well as the adhesives and glues.

Most  reputable carpet stores should be able to help you, they know what is available. and should be able to find a good carpet for a good price. sometlmes they will buy overruns that are a good value. Also,   make sure they do use a power-streacher when they install the carpet! Pat All Carpet Repair

Carpet with pad purchase cost $10-20 for really economy cheap stuff, $20-30 for normal brands, and $30-50/SY (square yard) for high-end carpet, to $100 or more for custom or gold thread and such.

Installation cost does not change much depending on what varpet is installed - generally about $10-20/SY.

So, for normal medium-range carpet I would assume $30-50/SY.

Carpet Installation reviews in Chilton

There were a few bumps along the way but overall I'm very happy with the end result.

, the Division Manager was very professional, easy to talk to and addressed all my concerns to my full satisfaction. The tread and riser installer
Chilton Carpet Installers Provider Name Locked
does very good work. He was punctual, professional and polite. The staircase handrail post at the bottom of the staircase presented a challenge to work around and ensure a tight fit. One tread had to be redone. Custom stained treads were delivered to them several days past the anticipated delivery date and job was not completed as originally planned. It was clear the company works hard to please its customers and I would not hesitate in using them again in spite of the problems and delays I encountered.

Flooring in kitchen and dining room looks good except they cut around flooring strips on all 4 - 2 exterior & 2 interior doors. The areas around flooring strip's look unprofessional and unfinished. These areas are already coming up. I had to buy wider door strips to cover hacked up floor areas.
My biggest complaint is my new fridge lost it's grill at the bottom and no one bothered to replace it. Not the company or the contractors.
Yes, the work there is sub- contracted. I do not like sub-contracted work because each party blames the other and problem is never solved.
They group that installed flooring were loud and unprofessional. I would not recommend flooring install. I am disappointed in the lack response from

, Cabinets & Granite. We called and the company was going to have sub-contractors to contact me for repair & replacement of fridge grill.

We had shopped several other places before we ended up at
Chilton Carpet Installers Provider Name Locked
based on reviews obtained from Angie's List.
Chilton Carpet Installers Provider Name Locked
assisted us with making a selection and came out later that afternoon to take measurements. We paid 50% down and the balance after the installation. What we liked about
Chilton Carpet Installers Provider Name Locked
: Very competitive price on product and installation; they do not subcontract installation - installers are employees; they move furniture, remove and take away old carpet and pad and install new pad and carpet for the standard installation price. Other places either would not move furniture and remove and take away old carpet and pad or they added a hefty surcharge. They did not fudge the measurements which runs the cost up. There was minimal waste left after the installation. And last but not least they are a locally owned and operated business so you get that personal touch with the entire process. They run their business like their livelihood depends on it. I would highly recommend

if your are considering new carpet. As far as dislikes, there were none.

They showed up on time and preformed the contracted services as per our written agreement. Prior to signing the contract they provided us with samples and helped us pick out the style and colors. I'd recommend

was very professional in email and text contact before the job, and punctual on the day of the work. He repaired the carpet quickly, and also put in a small piece of tack strip that was missing in front of a door. I hadn't thought about that little job before he came over, so it was a spur-of-the-moment request, but he said it was no problem.
The repair is very good; I can tell where it is, but only because there is a difference of color between the pre-existing carpet and the new carpet strip. Hopefully that will be less obvious with time and cleaning of the old carpet.

Very good experience from start to finish.

did a great job helping us find a quality carpet in our price range. They were very flexible in ordering and scheduling our install. Would use again for any flooring needs.

The only problem we had was there were black fingerprints on the walls when the installers left. We didn't notice them before they left. We were able to fix the problem ourselves with a Magic Eraser.
Chilton Carpet Installers Provider Name Locked
was told about it and offered to wash down our walls but it wasn't a major problem so we told them they didn't need to come. The installation was done professionally and the results were definitely to our satisfaction. We would use this company again.

I called
Chilton Carpet Installers Provider Name Locked
early this morning and because he took the time to drive over to our place before his next job our carpet to new tile transitions on concrete floors and our carpet to new tile transitions on wooden floors is done! I actually considered doing this myself, I am so glad I didn't! I would have had to purchase all the materials and what if I'd cut too much of the carpet!
Chilton Carpet Installers Provider Name Locked
also took the time to repair the carpet to tile around our front door and fireplace that after seven years of wear and tear began to unravel. It now looks brand new.
Thank you
