ADH West Coast Construction LLCI could not be more impressed! Darrel and his crew had their hands full because this bathroom literally had been built on a porch in the late 50's. They were super creative, hard and fast workers. Best bathroom put on a porch EVER! High five to Darrel, Jason, and Keith!!!- Rob W.

ADH West Coast Construction LLCDarrell was able to start demolition of the facia, siding and soffits within a few days. New siding, soffits, and facia were installed first. We asked for help choosing the color of the paint and Darrell and his wife Heather were very helpful. The house was painted the following week. As in most construction jobs, things came up. We needed to have a new front door installed and Darrell did the installation and painting of that too. He also recommended putting in a motion sensor light above the garage door since there were live wires there anyway and installed that to coordinate with the front porch light. Darrell and his crew were courteous and the work was done quickly and neatly without too much interruption to our tenants. I was impressed on how they cleaned up the worksite and did not damage any of the plants in the flowerbeds. His quality of work was excellent. I would definitely use him again if another painting, siding, or construction need came up. It was a pleasure working with Darrell and his wife.- Karen S.

ACG Finish & DesignThe C&G team worked through some vicious winter weather....outside. The C& G team also had to step up and step in half way through due to another contractor dropping the ball. We then awarded the balance to C& G. They have done a great job and we couldn't be more pleased with the result. We would and have recommended them to others. Where we live it is difficult to get contractors to take on jobs large or small so we greatly appreciate the C& G team!- John/Penny P.

AMr McHandyMr. McHandy was very cheerful and personable, yet professional. My seven month old grandson is starting to pull himself up, so I wanted Mr. McHandy to attach two bookcases to the wall. I also asked him to put up a plant hanger. When he arrived, I told him I had a couple extra things for him to do, if he had the time. He said that would be fine (it didn't faze him a bit that I sprang a couple more tasks on him). Earlier in the day, I had tried to assemble a high chair, but found I'm not strong enough to do it. I asked Mr. McHandy if he'd tackle it for me. He sat right down on my living room floor and commenced to assemble it! It was great. He made himself at home and helped me out. Then I asked him to change a light bulb for me, because I have nine foot ceilings and I'm short and have a difficult time reaching when I'm on a ladder. Not a problem for him!- Priscilla R.

AHigh Valley Construction of Ellensburg LLCThese guys are awesome! Got in and did the job, good communication on what needed to be done.- Jim B.

AHartwig Construction, Inc.Job was very well done. Siding was removed and replace on one side of the house which took about a day and a half. Next day was prep for the paint and then about two days to do the exterior of the house. job was done very professionally and they always cleaned up after themselves with out any problems. There were no hidden costs and they made very sure that everything was right before they left. Would highly recommend them to do work and will call them first in the future for any other work that we need done! Was very satisfied with the job that was done!- Marcus G.
-
AJohn Boitano ConstructionJohn did a great job. He came at the time scheduled. He matched the grain of the siding so that it looked like the existing siding beautifully. John got the job done quickly and we are very satisfied. John is very honest. I feel comfortable with him working on our house. His work is professionally done. I will definitely use him again. He is a contractor that has a wide variety of skills. Next he will be installing storm doors for us as soon as they arrive. I would rate John at a ten.- Jan E.

AJVG Woodwork & ConstructionThe job was completed on time and on budget without need for change orders. Very professional work; very responsive in correcting small problems which emerge in a job of this size.- Earl S.

DNorth Cascade Custom BuildingIt was awful. The crew that he had was good. He would tell me and text me that he would be there next morning to work at a certain time. I would get off work and come home and there would be a one man crew. He would then text that he had something else come up. He was unreliable. He was messy. He didn’t bother to haul off the old pieces of siding that he had to take off to work. It took longer than it should have been done. He said that he would spray the house and a part was done. Then he never came back and I ended up doing it myself. He was just totally unreliable. His price was good but quality was lousy. I would rather pay more and get good service. He had left a lot of nails which we had to go around and pick. I would not use him in the future.- Nancy H.

AOctober is not a good month to need a new roof in Wenatchee. Contractors are extremely busy trying to get as much work done as they can before the weather turns. When I needed help after a big windstorm, Matt Voorhies from Icon Roofing drove all the way over from Spokane within a few days of my call. He gave me a good idea of what needed to be done to not only repair the damage but to bring the roof up to the codes that had changed since the house was built. Roofs are expensive. Insurance companies don’t like parting with money. The adjuster didn’t do much for me. I told Matt what the adjuster had said. Matt told me to hang on and let him talk with the guy again. The end result was my insurance kicking in over a grand more than they had initially wanted to give me. The crew got to work within a couple weeks. It took two-and-a-half days to replace the roof, and the guys worked the last few hours in falling snow. Given the weather, I was actually a bit surprised that they managed to clean everything up as well as they did. The new roof looks great! I feel a whole lot better about the upcoming winter. I would definitely do business with Icon and Matt again!

FMy name Diana Sabalsa, TERRIBLE! I spoke with Hershel, the owner. I had a quote with Town & Country and by far has been the most unprofessional company I have dealt with. I purchased a home in Selah WA and part of my purchase agreement was to get some issues fixed, So, a quote was set to get completed. I was informed it would get done in a timely manner. FAR from what they represent. Here are my reasons. 1. The quote was to be honored and was not. 2. I called for MONTHS and did not get a call back! 3. When I did get a call back, I was told that the price would INCREASE because of the time past (REALLY??? time would have not past if the work was done when it was supposed to). 4. I explained that I had called but literally was told by Mr. Hershel "I'm the gate keeper, everything goes through me. That's how it is and that's what it will be" I completely understand that in many cases price increase though time will happen. However, as a homeowner, If you receive a quote from November 2017, and get ignored. Then get a call back from Hershel on May 2018, stating it’s your fault and have to pay hundreds of dollars more! JUST WOW! I will look for someone else.

FIt has taken me two years to write this because I just didn’t know what to think of the whole ordeal. I’m finally ready to share so no one makes the same mistake that I did. I own a roughly 920 sq ft home in Covington with a one car garage. I ran across this company at Enumclaw Wine Walk in 2015 or so and expressed interest n siding or roofing as both were really needed on my home. They called for over a year before I finally agreed to have them out to look at the siding. When the salesman arrived, he mentioned the roof needed repair more than the siding. I agreed as he wasn’t wrong. He pressed and pressed me to go in my house, sit down and look at options for a roof. He was a bit smarmy and kind of made me nervous, but I figured it wouldn’t hurt to have him give me an estimate. Once inside, he continued to press and made me feel incredibly uncomfortable. I’m a single female and had him over at a time where my neighbors weren’t home. I felt a bit trapped in my own house. This man saw an opportunity to make a sale and he pressed until it happened. I became emotional and called a couple of friends for advice. When I gave the quote amount to one he advised me not to sign this contract. It was way too much. My dad; however, was very concerned that my house stay in good order so he advised me to just sign and assured me he would help with the financial impact. I’m a teacher in the local community and while the cost of a roof isn’t exactly easy for anyone, it was especially impactful on my salary at he time. The salesman quoted me roughly $13,900 for the roof on my tiny house. As Tim passed, I was so uncomfortable that I finally just signed the contract to get him out of my house. I knew I had three days to back out and planned to do so, but my roof ended up leaking and I needed someone to call for help. Rainier it was. I will give them credit for being responsive in that way. This salesperson knew I was nervous about who would be over to do the work and when. He promised he would watch out for me the whole way. Imagine my surprise when I got a call from my neighbor while I was at work telling me the roofers has ascended, in all sorts of unmarked, personal vehicles. One thing I had asked explicitly is if they’d be showing up on schedule in company vehicles, I was assured they would. Nope. They didn’t even give notice when they came. The company did feel bad enough about this scheduling snafu that they sent a small Visa gift card for the trouble. Now, two years later, the quality of the roof is fine, some soft spots still, but it certainly is no better than any of my neighbors’ roofs. It should have cost no more than $8,000 at the very most. I was set up with their financing at Salal Credit Union on a 10 year payoff and have made absolutely no progress towards chipping away at the principal. I finally moved the loan to BECU and will pay it off within a couple years. How did I get myself into this? I don’t know. I should have gotten multiple offers. I should have been stronger with the salesman. I should have stood up for myself. I didn’t. And the sad thing is the company saw that as an opportunity to capitalize on a sale. Where are the ethics? How many people do they do this to? How do they look at themselves in the mirror? (Probably the mirror of a sports car my teacher salary is paying for.) Ya, they put a decent roof on, but almost every other aspect of what they told me was a lie to close the deal....at nearly double the price I should have paid. Please, if you’re still reading, use my experience as a cautionary tale. Be prepared for what you are doing, have support, if you are young or a first time owner...don’t do this alone. And definitely do not use this company without having done a ton of research first!!!
