    Joe's Yard Service
We had a big tree in our backyard which was growing into the power lines. Joe and his 7 guys cut the tree down, dug out 2 stumps, removed grass, planted multiple trees & bushes, put in an edge/border, installed weed/fabric cover and covered with mulch. They were amazingly efficient, clean, tidy, respectful, conscientious, and took pride in their work. When they were taking the big tree down a limb fell on the hose spigot and broke it. They immediately replaced it. My neighbor caught up with me at the end of the day to say she was also impressed with them. They took care not to damage her yard, cleaned it up and blew off her patio at the end of the project. They started at 8 am sharp and were finished by 3. I really could hardly believe my eyes. it was almost surreal - it happened so fast. The only evidence they were there was foot prints on the lawn. I couldn't be happier. If you have a job call Joe.

    Joe's Yard Service
Joes Yard Service was professional, hard-working and did a great job. They removed trees, juniper bushes, ground stumps, and pruned trees and arborvitae. They went above and beyond and ground stumps that were not in the original bid. They did a good job cleaning up. I would highly recommend them!

    Complete Tree Service
Punctual, polite, professional, thoughtful, kind, excellent work, quick, thorough clean up, consulted me to make sure they understood I was looking for and explained their recommendations - leaving it entirely up to me to decide. Even left me with 5 rounds as mementos. Allen and the crew he employs are exceptional.

    Catron Yard Care Service
I am a 100% disabled veteran. I can't mow my yard. Jeffery Catron called me and within an hour showed up to give me an estimate. We agreed on the following Wednesday to start. This was a week later. He did not show up, but he called. He said he would be there Thursday afternoon. He did not show up. I called him, he said possibly Saturday because he was too busy. He never showed up.

    Joe's Yard Service
Wonderfully! Joe came over on the same day I contacted him and started the job the very next day. It was completed within a week. Other estimates were very over priced and could not start for a few weeks to 6 weeks. Joe was responsive to question and very personable.

    Akland Pump & Irrigation
I would definitely not recommend Akland Pump. During the purchase of our home, I ordered a 4 hour well test from Akland Pump. After 2 hours I received a call that said I was getting 15 gpm and didn't need to continue the other 2 hours. Later I found out the whole test was done on a spigot on the side of the house. The house has a 500 gallon holding tank with a pump so of course it is going to get a consistent 15 gpm. This was not disclosed to me until after the house was purchased that the well test was done on an outside spigot of the house. I also asked for the static level and was told well is too deep and would have to pull pump to get that information. This was our first home and first time dealing with a well so we did not know a lot about wells. We researched and found 15 gpm is decent. We continued with the purchase of the home. 1 month into the house the well began making noises. I had another company come out to take a look and they instantly told me I was getting 2 to 3 gpm. They also were able to tell me the static level without pulling the pump. They informed us that the pump was failing. I went to Akland to inform them of everything and long story short was told tough luck. We ended up paying $10,800 for a new pump and new check valves. Now the system is working at 10 gpm. We would not have purchased the home if the well test had come back at 2 to 3 gpm unless seller fixed the pump. Akland Pump did not do a proper well test and even admitted to not checking the static level knowing they could. Akland also installed an irrigation tank during the purchase of the home. I had asked for this to ensure that enough water could be supplied for landscape (Seller paid for this). Akland did the work but left a pile of rocks from the work they did. I had to show them pictures of their work and then they came back to level the ground. While they installed the irrigation tank, they asked my neighbor to borrow a shop vac. Akland Pump returned the shop vac dirty and full of water.

    Joe's Yard Service
They showed up and did the work they were hired for. We asked for a quote for another job and chose not to hire them for the next project based on how high the quote was. Owner got defensive and said he had perfect scores online. The crew left for the day and never came back to clean up the yard or haul away the debris.

    R&S Hauling and Landscape, LLC
We worked with Russell from beginning to end even though he had one of his crews do the actual work in our yard. Russell was AWESOME. His friendliness, honesty, punctuality, competitive quote (less than the other quote we'd received), and willingness to do whatever it took to make us happy with the retaining wall were all incredibly appreciated because this was an unexpected expense for us. Our wonderful neighbor agreed to pay for half of the job since the wall divides our properties, and Russell was willing to do two separate transactions after the job was done: half for us and half for our neighbor. Our neighbor wanted to use any intact railroad ties in his yard, so Russell's crew kindly set aside any reusable ones and hauled away the others. Even though the job took longer to do than anticipated and required quite a bit more pavers than quoted, Russell assured us in the beginning that anything above the quote would be covered by the company. He guarantees his quote no matter what, and he made good on that promise. Also, he guarantees his work no matter what, so if something were to happen with this wall, he would return and address it free of charge. If we ever need any further landscaping done in our yard, there is no question we will call Russell again. We couldn't be happier with the process and end result!

    Joe's Yard Service
We embarked on a large landscaping project in our small yard that included both front and backyards. We employed Joes Lawn Service. The major concern was replacing the old retaining wall in the back that was reaching the end of its life. It was built using rail road ties and many of those were rotting. We wanted a block wall to replace it. Other aspects of the project included installing steps in both front and back yards using block and paving stones. In the front we wanted a landing pad for folks arriving in cars. Guests should be able to step out curbside onto a safe spot and ascend to the front door on safe steps thus avoiding the perilous climb up a steep driveway - often filled with cars that is factually lethal in winter. Texans were born to shovel a lot of stuff, but not snow. We were new at a landscaping project of this scale and apprehensive in uncertainty, particularly cost and expectation of final result. The final result exceeded expectation and was within the original estimate and budget, with one exception. We changed our mind and expanded one element. It was worth the added expense. We are satisfied with the result. I was rather amazed by the professionalism and expertise employed. The men formed a high performing team of skilled planners and craftsmen. They were always on time. There were no delays. There was no standing around waiting to be told what to do they knew what to do. When Joe agreed to do something, he did it. For those of us that believe in honest, hard work, it was a true pleasure to watch as I did daily. The work was heavy, hot, and dusty. They carried in wheelbarrows every bit of block, gravel, sand, and paving stone into a backyard that had no access for a vehicle. And they carried out every old timber. Although my language skills are minimal, they made it easier with their patient, polite demeanors. I guess you could call them gentlemen. I particularly noted their respect for each other. Consequently, I have enormous respect for this outfit.

    Joe's Yard Service
Joe gave me an estimate and sent his crew the following week. I ended up adding two more large trees to be pruned. The work started on July 3rd and with the additional work I requested the crew came and finished on July 4th. I am extremely happy with the work and the price. Everything was cleaned up and will recommend Joe to anyone who needs tree work done
