ASame Day Service of Yakima.I called Same Day Repair on Friday morning as well as one other large appliance repair firm. I heard from them withing 20 minutes, even though he was on a service call when I originally called. I spoke to Tobie, and he said that he would be at my house by 12pm. A bit diferent than the national repair service that I had used in the past, that would only tell me that someone would be there between 10 and 5! Tobie arrived at 11:30 a full 30 minutes early! When I made the appointment, I told him that I thought that my washing machine had a broken belt. When he opened the washer case, his first remark was that I was hired. He said that he didn't have the belt in stock, but that he would order one and it would arrive in Yakima at 10am Monday morning. He promised to be at my house by 10:30 to make the repair. He arrived at 10:15 (Early Again!), completed the repair in 20 minutes and was on his way. I had never used Same Day Repair in the past, but I will never use anyone else in the future!!. Tobie runs his business in a very professional, friendly manner. You are never happy when you have to call a repairman, but you can minimize the pain when you deal with someone like Tobie, He makes the experience as painfree as possible.- Ken F.

ACarl Beedle Appliance RepairI have had him come over a few times because of my dishwasher and we also have our own well. We have fixed mineral hot water and so he was willing to come out and help us and showed us where the problem was. He recommended several different brands of things and he went over and above. He spent a lot of time with us and when we finally did get a dishwasher brought in it was broken. He helped us a lot to get it sent back and he got things taken care of. He told us to exactly describe what was broken and so on. When we got the new one he came out almost immediately when he found out because he knew we were living for a long time without a dishwasher. It was actually in the evening and he came out and that’s how he is. He is very friendly and he showed us a lot about it. He gave us a ton of advice which I would have never known. He told us what kind of detergents to use and I have been very happy with him. He gave us so much of his own time and explained things that helped me understand what was going on with the pipes and different things which he didn’t have to do.- Robert J.

ARon's Appliance Repair ServiceRon came out and took care of the problem without any issues. It took him a little while to do it but he was very friendly and very polite. We were very pleased with the service. I have a very positive feedback on that. His price just seemed a little expensive for what he did but I am not familiar with what the going rates are nowadays so I am not sure. ASame Day Service of YakimaTobie came to repair our dishwasher which had stopped working. After looking at it, he told me it would probably be better to buy a new dishwasher as the repair was quite expensive. He gave me suggestions on what to look for in a dishwasher, what bells and whistles were not worth the money and even suggested a couple places that were good to buy from. He then gave me advice on taking care of other appliances in our house. Even though he was unable to fix our dishwasher, his honesty impressed me and he is now our go-to appliance repairman. We have had him out to fix our refrigerator, washer and dryer and we have been very happy with his work and his price.- Susan B.

FA company spokesman telephoned on 12 February and promised that repairmen would arrive between 9:30-11:00 AM on Tuesday 16 February. No one from the company has arrived or otherwise contacted me during the past 15 days so I shall find another service provider.

FAmerican Home Shield (AHS) warranty is replacing my broken microwave with a new one. I received the new microwave on 11/11/2020 and notified AHS it was in my possession. Part of the warranty contract includes the installation of the new microwave. AHS typically assigns contractors themselves. However, this time AHS contracted with C & R Services with a dispatch number on 11/13/2020 for C & R to assign a local contractor to do the install. After two weeks of waiting and not being contacted by C & R or a contractor, I called C & R to follow up on the status. They said it would be 1 to 2 weeks from the date they received the dispatch from AHS. I informed them it had been 2 weeks in which they replied that it would be another 2 weeks. As of today, 12/11/2020, 4 weeks from the date C & R received the dispatch, I have not been contacted by C & R or a contractor. C & R's lack of communication and customer service is absurd. AHS informed me that they do not have any authority over C & R.

FThey told me it was a covered repair and to get the work done and submit invoice and they would reimburse us. We got it done and submitted the invoice. After 3 months of constant follow up they covered part of the parts charge and none of the labor. Then, following up again, they responded with, WE ARE CLOSING THE BUSINESS.
