AClassic Insulation & Pest ControlClassic Pest Control and Insulation is fantastic to work with. We dealt with many other companies and contractors as part of a bigger project, and Classic was clearly the best. We called them in after checking out some other companies. They were by far the most knowledgeable and professional and did the best work. We originally hired them to remove and reinstall our attic insulation as part of a bigger project (mold remediation). However, we ended up hiring them to take care of our crawl space and pest control when another well-known company failed to follow up and complete the job properly. They removed, cleaned, reinsulated, and provided pest remediation for both our attic and crawlspace. Everyone I dealt with from the office staff, manager, estimator, installers, and pest control tech was courteous, organized, and very knowledgable. They were also flexible as we had to coordinate around work being done by another contractor. They did a great job on both our attic and crawl space. Our home is noticeably warmer in the cold weather, the pests are taken care of, and the work is of good quality and done properly. Good people who do good work can be hard to find, and I would whole-heartedly recommend Classic Pest Control and Insulation to my friends and family. They earned it. We’ve had different pest control companies over the years in previous houses and Alex was far and away the best we’ve ever met. He was professional, patient, and clearly knew his information inside and out. He answered all our questions and behaved as if we were the only customer he had that day. So many companies seem focused on transactions and fast revenue, our experience today was the opposite - it felt like they actually cared about us as customers. He made sure to walk with me around the entire house and paid close attention to certain areas I had concerns about, and cleaned up all the webs that were taking over in high up areas I could not reach. He checked with me twice to ensure a thorough job was done, and I look forward to having him be my technician in the future. Ever since we signed up with EcoShield (years ago) I have noticed a significant decrease in spiders (when we moved in to our house there were tons) and I never really notice any other insects at all with the spray they use. DAs far as exterminator companies go, unless you find a really good small business that will work with you, they all follow the same model: charge you multiple 100s of dollars to come by three times, in which they come to your house, frown at your attic for a while, leave a few traps that will run you 5 bucks at Lowes, and leave. The real get for them is trying to convince you to spend multiple thousands of dollars to perform basic services like using foam and netting to seal openings – again stuff that you or any decent handyman to get from Lowe's. In general, my view of the exterminator business is that it's mostly a scam. But the General Manager of Classic made my experience even worse. He was dismissive, rude, and in general unpleasant to be around. If you have to go with an exterminator service, chose another one, these folks aren't worth the attitude.

AWhite Glove was great to work with - I really appreciated that they came out beforehand to look at the work carefully, and put together an estimate that included estimated times and options for each item on the list to address. They did high-quality work when here that I haven't had any problems with, and worked efficiently. The only thing to be aware of is that they had about a 1 month scheduling lead time - but that speaks mostly to the quality that they bring and the demand they're in!
