AWashington Energy ServicesWe had Washington Energy Service install a new furnace, air conditioner and hot water heater when we purchased our home in 2016. We were impressed with the presentation made by their representative prior to our purchase compared to other representatives with whom we spoke. Because we wanted to be insured, we purchased an extended warranty. We're really glad we did! We have had the system serviced annually, but this year an extensive leak developed that damaged the interior of our home and caused black mold. We initially notified our insurance company but then decided we should notify Washington Energy Service as well. The decontamination had begun, but the damage was evident. The Washington Energy Service representative was so very helpful and understanding. He immediately determined what needed to be done to correct the problem and within two days had a team to our home to complete the repair. We appreciate the professionalism, courtesy, honesty and rapid response with which Washington Energy Service treated us and would strongly recommend them to anyone looking for a good local company. Very knowledgeable good at troubleshooting. Polite, friendly, explained everything very well. Standard service charge call plus tax for two hour visit, included standard annual maintenance at no charge. Less expensive than anticipated.- DEAN S.

ABob's Heating & Air ConditioningBob's HVAC installed a new gas furnace, replacing an existing one in my home. I interviewed and got proposals from 6 contractors; Bob's was very responsive from a sales standpoint; their pricing was not the lowest, but highly competitive and deemed the best value in my mind; they showed up as promised on the install date and time and completed everything efficiently while answering my questions throughout the process and respecting our home. Upon my later inspection, I found a slight mis-alignment of the furnace, filter box door, but was able to fix it myself. Other than that, everything was perfect. I'd recommend Bob's HVAC.- Robert R.

He was very professional and provided brochures for the equipment we were having replaced/installed. He answered all my questions and kept us informed of the whole process. His crew who consisted of installers, Alex and Jasper, plumber, Paul, and electrician, Angel, were prompt, professional, clean and explained everything during the installation. DThe plumbing part of the project went fine. The new installation appears to be functional and free of leaks. Major problem: A few days after they finished, I moved a floor mat in my kitchen and discovered a 3/16" hole drilled through the floor! (It seems that when drilling a pilot hole from the basement for the new drain pipe, they had misjudged the location of the cabinet, and drilled through the floor instead. While on-site, they never mentioned their mistake to me. Instead, they just covered it up by moving the floor mat back into place (with some sawdust still around it). Minor problem: They also failed to clean up scraps of pipe and hole-saw cuttings, both on the ground outside the house and on the roof. The company did not respond to my emailed report of these issues, in which I included a photo of the hole in the floor. I would have expected them to at least offer to reimburse me for the cost to repair the damage.

FAmen to three weeks ago to try to get the gas fireplace upstairs at my house to work where my family lives including two young kids. Two to three days before the appointment, they called and asked if I wanted to move my appointment back a week to which I responded no thank you The day of the appointment, I got a call from them not only saying they weren't coming out today, but now they weren't coming out till the earliest March 10th. This is such poor customer service and disappointing because just because I'm not paying for 'emergency' time and money, I GET SCREWED!

BJohn provided great service and got the job done! For sure, I would hire again. However, I rated a B because the total cost was not 1) what I was quoted and 2) was given to me after the service was done. This would not have changed the outcome (I would have said yes do it) but customers should be informed of what the cost will be before anything is fixed.
