Auto Repair reviews in Wenatchee

Roland and crew come highly recommended by some trusted local mechanics, and we have used this company for any repairs they will take on. In the case of the repair listed here, they charged much less than the Toyota dealer, and 20,000 miles later the job has proved to be well done.

    Global Car Care
Global takes wonderful care of all of our cars (4) and does it for a very reasonable cost. They send us coupons for services, and they send us a Christmas card every year with a coupon for additional savings. Brian Thorpe is the owner, and his front desk people Scott and Joe really know their stuff. Each dollar you spend on service earns a few dollars credit that you can use for future service costs. The waiting room is always clean and they have open wireless you can use while you wait. I've been in the back area once where the mechanics work, and that area is also very clean and orderly. They work on all makes and models of cars, and always call you with an estimate before they do the repair. If the repair can wait, they'll tell you. If it's important to get it fixed, they'll tell you that too and explain their reasoning. I trust them and they've never let me down- they really do care about their customers. I just really can't say enough about this shop. I'm a very happy customer. Thank you guys! I've never bought a used car there, but I've heard that their salesman that runs that part of the company is very nice and honest. I'm sure Brian wouldn't have someone who wasn't.

    Cascade Subaru - Wenatchee
I left the car vehicle for a diagnosis and was called by the service department once diagnosed. I was offered several options for repair but agreed to an axle replacement after I specifically asked twice if the axle replacement was a new Subaru axle. I was assured both times that it was a new axle. When I picked up the vehicle, I noticed that the invoice itemized the part as a re-manufactured axle.
When I pointed out that I was quoted for a new unit and not a re-manufactured unit, the reply was "Oh, that's right". I asked for the brand of axle that was used, but the service department didn't know and I haven't heard back.
No offers of any kind to rectify this were offered. My feeling is that this borders on fraud, and is not outright fraud because the quote for a new unit was made over the phone, nothing was in writing.

    JJ's Complete Auto Repair
    WARNING...Watch out....
I was a victum of dishonesty from JJ's Complete Auto Repair in Wenatchee. The owner of JJ's Auto gave me is word he was the best and will take care of my broken airconditioner. Unfortunately he did not follow through. Poor work and lots of money lost $1,200 cash with out providing the service and repairing my air-conditioner. I was desperate and 3 weeks later with over 100 degree weather he wanted another 700.00 to repair other things such as the compressor, which was working I found later. I was taken avantage of from my lack of knowledge of auto mechanics ( being a woman).... I was manulapated in thinking  that  he would be fair to me...I was Wrong!!! JJ's Auto wanted another 700.00 to finish the job and then said also he would  look at everything but would be another $3,000.00 then I brought a friend in with me and started questioned him he then refused to complete his work refused to work on my car and did not return any of my money back when I only asked for partial money back.. I was left with no air conditioner repair and out $1,200.00!! Do not take your car there...They are very dishonest and do not know what they are doing.

    Sal's Professional Auto Repair
When I take a problem in there, he's on it. The very first thing is he figures out what is wrong, usually without charging me or very little charge. And then he gets on fixing it. Tells me if it's worth fixing or not, how much it will cost. He gets parts ordered and gets them in. He even did a transmission for us and got it done in less than a week. Again, half the price of any place around. He did the job right, which is a big deal. We own a taxi company so it's kind of a big deal. Quick, inexpensive, and correct are the three primary things.

    Anglers Auto Service
My car was running so rough and I was afraid it was something terrible. I t was a Saturday and I was scheduled to go to my sons on the coast the next day and knew I simply could not drive with my car acting that way. I called Anglers just hoping they would be open and they were And said to bring it right in. They said it was simply needing new spark plugs and changed them out; and looked at all the filters and belts and suggested future dates for service. They were all so kind, so professional and made me feel like they genuinely appreciated my business. I will certainly follow their maintenance advice and will do business with them again and recommend them to my friends.

Clear, straightforward, and patient explanations. We were ready to have to rebuild the transmission, but instead they told us that the transmission looked great and clean and we shouldn't have to worry about rebuilding it for a very long time.

Excellent experience!  Their closest competitor said it would be three weeks and $1000 more to rebuild my transmission.  Trans Clutch said they could take me that day.  I had my van towed to their yard and they started working on it right away.  Once they had everything opened up, they invited me down to review their findings.  No hidden costs - very transparent.  They promised it would be done in 3 days, but finished it in 2.  Couldn't be happier with the service!  Would highly recommend them!

    Cascade Subaru - Wenatchee
I was treated very well. Cascade Auto worked with my insurance company to make it as easy for me as possible. During the repair, a hose was not reconnected and I had to return to have that fixed and more refrigerant added. Cascade auto again made it very easy, gave me a loaner car and fixed the problem within a few hours.

    Global Car Care
person working on my car broke the dip stick (rubber grab handle) dropped it into the engine block. They charged me for his time to get the dip stick out of the engine.  When I complained about being charged for his time to fix something he broke they just ignored that and billed me for his time and also for the part.  I would have readily agreed to pay for the new dip stick but didn't believe I should be paying for his time to correct his error.  I will not return but will give anyone who asks a negative referral
